The trick is to sneak up behind them by walking. When the ! appears above their head, you swing. Also always get a full view of the map when you get to a floor. Sometimes a rare enemy will spawn, but you won't get the cutscene
I’ve never had that happen, the first time I saw one run for the stairs I locked in realizing what it was trying to do but it hurts seeing it happen to others
Everytime I saw it go up the stairs on the Arqa block I just stood there and watched it because I damn well knew it was gonna break my ankles and juke me so hard
And you don't even know how annoying they were on the original, you couldn't sneak up on them, ever, you had to somehow predict where they were going and try to hit them while they're running, if you missed, pray to god you're not on a straight corridor so that you can try to catch them while they're turning a corner, if not, you just cry
They look to be way easier in this remake, in the og P3 (Also P3P and FES) we had no clue if there would be one, and if it ran away the bastard would vanish.
Holy shit. This exact same thing happened to me last week, but it was Akihiko telling me to chase after it. I also ran right past one of those super level-boosting clocks, too. ;o;

This happened to me once. Its a bad feeling. The game isn't that hard so the exp and loot you get from it, isn't important, but my PRIDE AND RESPECT WAS GONE!
