@@smashfaces Actually he is from Lithuania and came to the US in 2019. His “success” may have been slowed by the pandemic, but as larger concerts become real again, I think he will break through. He is classically trained. I have been listening to him all afternoon. He is just mesmerizing.

@@superorangeish not pre-recorded if he’s recording it there and then. Pre-recorded would mean he’s done all the looping/recording at home, so all that’s left is him to click play and just jam over that… but he’s making the loops there and then. They’re his sounds. His music.

As a musician myself, you do get amped up more to a degree with a big lively crowd, but I always try to put on a good show for 1 or 1000. Thing is on the street, you start with a few, and if you are giving all, you do draw more people and they stay. I play with another guy and sometimes it seems 'slow' crowd wise, and I always say, it is because we just started. Sure enough the crowd grows, with many hanging around for a long while. I would love to hang with Dovy, I would play acoustic and sing, and he would add the mind blowing bits, as only he does! - Cheers

Things were slow at the office so I came to RU-vid to pass the time. I came across DOVYDAS and after a few songs I took my headset off and cranked it up. Employee's were wondering what was going on in my office!! This song started and I looked up from my monitor to see half the office standing outside my door. So many questions as to who this guy was!! Its amazing how just a lazy scan of music can find a GEM! Hats off to you! You've got some very nice and some very entertaining takes on some popular music! I swear I did the same thing! Played 1 song ended up sittin on my back porch for 7 hrs listening to nothin but his stuff. Hes awesome. Makes everything he does his own somehow. Even Hendricks and Skynard songs that everyone knows, he somehow makes them his own original version, and it's always gr8. His originals are also amazing.

So John Fogerty tells a story that when he was at Woodstock, he followed the Grateful Dead at like 2am and everyone was asleep. There was one guy that was out there dancing and he played the whole Woodstock set for that guy. Ok, that was Woodstock, and not a hot dog stand. But real musicians always give it their all for the audience.

What truly amazes me is, there are so many really good musicians out there, like you,,,that are as good as any of the famous,,,but end up just getting by as street musicians. Dang, just watching this for 1st time. I believe that you are a very talented musician! I've watched some of you later videos and was very Impressed. I'm very impressed with your guitar technique. (The last time I was really playing guitar was 40 years ago. 6-string, bass, 12-string. Also played percussion. Wish I woulda got to stay with all that). Perhaps I I coulda found a way to pay for it, I would have. Life is different for everyone. I do Enjoy Music a Lot though and I think hearing yours is of the Best! My fav Bands, Vocalists, Artists, and Styles from the past 40 years and to this current date, is too many to mention here. (Yes, I love various music from all forms. My favorite is Rock though. I enjoy even the older Beethoven, Johan Strauss, Jazz, Rock, Hard Rock, Disco, Blue-Grass, Country, Pop and on and on, LOL. It's ALL Wonderful and Awesome!
