My family spent most of my life here we first moved into Overton house tower block then above the shops just to the left of the row of buses in this video I also met my first wife here who lived above the shops at the top of Danebury Avenue we used to go to Danebury School it was a lot better back then now it looks like a prison railings and entry phone systems everywhere

Nice video but you missed half the estate, I grew up on Bessborough Rd, off Alton Road (Alton Estate East) we used to call where you drove down & around Danbury! Tough place growing up in the 80s/90s, features on the first ever episode of ‘Minder’ tv show in the 70’s/80’s.

This is estate is huge because it consists of smaller estates inside it, like how Myatts Field has Myatts Field South, Myatts Field North, Cowley and Church Manor Estates.

Another cool video. Always nice to see an estate that's not in need of demolition. My old home (Ashfield valley in Rochdale) is long gone.

I used to drop Amazon parcels round here. The estate is actually bigger than this, although I think there might be other estates that just link up that make it look like one giant estate. I never had any trouble, but lost my van a few times, whilst on foot lol parts of the estate are really like a maze, everything looks the same, especially when it's dark. But yh, I've literally been in every building on here, hard days work to say the least!

i wasnt gona comment but while u wer showing us the carpark u could of gone to the end of danebury ave n into sherfield gdns were i grew up.we moved there 1963 from paddington n fort we were in the country.
