Here’s one of the oldest ex- Advanced (and pretty much any predecessor you can think of) units that was still in operation, handling a trash route in Waukegan. At the time of uploading this video these are likely last resort spares, if not scrapped. Glad I was able to get another video of one, and I hope you all enjoy!

Such a shame to see the classics fade away from existence. its a beautiful sight that trucks like these stuck around for a decade and some change to be filmed. Has that classic veolia sound to it, trucks like these are becoming more rare and exclusive. happy to see this in my feed

Crazy how just months ago these were all still running daily, now it’s all CNG. Really took a trip down memory lane with this one. Great video

Fantastic video Grant! Hard to believe that many of these older units are finally gone, same goes for many other companies around the states - it almost felt like the trucks this age were immortal until they're at last being replaced. Nonetheless, always enjoy watching a classic Mack LE, they never fail to sound amazing!

I find these trucks so weird, we don't have these guys where I live. I mean yes we have these trucks they pick up containers with their front forks, but carrying their own bin like that nope.
