Fun fact: before Team6 acquired rights to Flatout franchise, they were known for making super low budget games such as Tesco Ice Racing or Pizza Dude. In my country (Poland) they were on the same shelves as newspapers and costed around 3$

I cannot believe that the state of modern gaming is so bad that people would actually start to see this game in a positive light.

It’s kind of sad how this game was. It was the 3rd Flatout game that came after two really good mainline games along with a remaster of the second. The third game was put into the wrong hands cause the original company who made it was running out of money and had to outsource. It’s kind of a tragedy how such a great game series fell so much and has struggled to recover since ever since the old developers moved on.

Wow they have the legend himself Eric Speed, the original creator of velocity, the inventor of speed, the GOD of quickness, the gladiator of momentum and the calculating genius of agility, the man, the myth, the legend Eric Speed. It's nice to see flatout 3 giving him attention and appreciation that he deserves and its vert OP that they let you play as that godly physical manifestation of pure talent and pure jaw dropping acceleration, Eric Speed even if they nerfed him alot to make him fair to play against within the game

This doesn’t really seem that bad. At least it functions and has decent physics. There are definitely many games much worse than this, with no doubt in my mind.

The fact that this game was so bad that it tarnished the legacy of the Flatout franchise it's amazing. Flatout UC and 2 are amazing games and a must play for fans of racing and Wreckfest is a great game by the same Devs.

Flatout 2 and Ultimate Carnage were some of the best, fun arcade racers and amazing to play at every LAN party with friends. What FO3 did to the series is nothing short of blasphemy.

Charlie, i used to be a fan, i have watched your progress eagerly with hopes you'll become the biggest, but you have just opened one of the darkest memories in back of my mind. I did not want to see this game again, and frankly me being reminded of it makes me feel emotions i can't explain. I feel sick, like when this first released and seeing my favorite games thrown in trash full of shit, it hurts.

2011. Boy what a year for gaming. With releases like MW3, saints row the third, skyrim, and flatout 3. How could you not be pumped for that year as a gamer?

I remember buying this, not knowing what horrors awaited. I thought "wow there's a new flatout and nobody told me?" My first truly big burn with a video game. I was so mad years later that I actually just removed it from my steam library entirely. I want to forget. I just want to forget.

I absolutely adored when they transferred Eric Speed’s likeness from Ghost Rider 3 into Flatout, nothing was more ambitious than obtaining the license to utilize Eric Speed’s name and character.

Flatout 2 was one of my childhood games, loved it then, loved it now. Looking at Flatout 3 there's a clear difference right at the start from quality from the first two titles to the third one. Ever since Flatout 3's release, the franchise has never been able to recover well. Hopefully they make a new good Flatout game sometime soon or else the franchise is going to fall off into irrelevancy and will never recover. Sad to see such a once great franchise turn into a bad one nontheless :/

The artificial intelligence and driving controls in this game is equivalent to people rushing through the aisles of a supermarket during a black friday sale on Christmas eve at night.
