Yet more great content. Like a surgeon sorting that stop tap what a terrible location you’ve got some patience. Good luck with the 10k subs. Shouldn’t be a problem. All the best Pete 👍😆
I fit kitchens as well as plumbing so when I am called to replace a stop tap UNDER the bottom of a unit I get mad at the kitchen fitters who don't do a simple mod to put the tap inside the cupboard! My last stop tap change was impossible because the road tap would not switch off so had to get the water company in first. I agree with you re the bath - all those pipes which can result in leaks which only happen maybe when the bath is full and someone in it! Difficult to test!!
@@richardlewis5316 cheers Richard. Some kitchen fitters just don’t think about the next guy unfortunately! And the bath job is coming up in a couple of episodes time :)
I thought I had subbed to this channel, but I hadn’t… so I do apologise.. subbed now. Had a similar stop tap the other day in a plant room(access was obviously easier..). Went to turn it off and it started pissing out.. opened it back up and it stopped.. “righty o then.. we’ll just leave that one alone then shall we..” 😂
Thanks for the sub mate! And I’d of done the exact same in that instance! Haha. However normally in a plant room there’s not much on the floor to damage if it does leak haha
Loved your face when you pulled that gunk out of the plug hole 🤣. Very funny ‘hiding’ the piece of jigsaw!! Can’t believe you have to actually say ‘that was a joke’ though but I know what some people are like on RU-vid and they wouldn’t see the funny side…..I did. Fab video as always Dan. 👍
And to be honest mate, I’m sure there’s plumbers out there that get in far worse situations! But glad it helps people’s perspective on the job :) thanks for the comment mate
Cracking vid Dan, had to laugh when you took the jigsaw piece 😂😂 I thought he’s wrong un. Like the other comments good to see what stuff comes along 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Gee whizzzz I almost thought for sure the ceiling was gonna come crashing down below that jacuzzi bath. Good thing it didn’t and I almost raged QUIT when I saw TO BE CONTINUED. Good thing you explained it at the end. I’ll let it go for NOW ! 😅 Well done Dan ! It’s another banger episode
@@HeatkingI’m laughing (with you) as i had something very very similar a little while ago and it was a nightmare. I remember the running back once I turned the mains from the pavement on the street… well done man (and to me….)
great video thought i was watching a Harry Potter film during the tap change what foldable bucket are you using Dan mines started leaking after a few months usage 🤬
@@alanjones1301 haha I think the music choice on this one was a bad move 😂😂 the folding bucket is from spi, I’ve had few start leaking in the past. This one has kind of a hard base though, so I’m hoping it lasts a bit longer! ♥️
Rip the cupboard to suit you and the tools - I have stopped laparoscopic valve changes: too many wounds on hands, and the sheet of melamine costs about £10
Most new ish stopcocks just heat up the middle and whip the valve out and stick a new one in saves faffing on with the nuts and altering pipework works on most
Dumbledore, I thought you were going to get your wand out ( not a euphemism) and utter the magic words piff paff poof. Bath is fixed. 😂 That music is dodgy.
