The thing is it's better to get a new decent/not very good unit rather than an OP unit. Because the sooner the OP unit is released the sooner people will do everything to get it and the ones without it will complain a lot about it just like Oliver, Racuni and many others monsters. Also it's easier to put a bad unit and then making him decent/good/strong later. Because it give 2 beneficiant factors for both players and com2us. A new monster is better released not broken to be balanced soon after and not nerfed shortly after to make it bad and people building it complain. Also it make it possible for player to test the potential of a new monster good or bad and thinking about what they need. Com2us still look sometimes to what youtubers said in their testing and sometimes those changes happened. The second factor is for com2us benefit. If a unit is released OP whales will cash for it which is good for them, but if it's to OP and unbalanced the unit will be nerfed before the BP or nerfed in the closest BP and will make a lot of players who put lot of devilmon and efforts on building it complain and would want a refund. It already happened in the past. Also if a unit isn't OP or even good or decent. Then it will if they are rlly horrible be buffed soon after released like the AC collab but I mostly think it happened because of the image the game would make to the collab and Ubisoft that they buffed them and not because they rlly wanted to buff them that fast. The second reason is that the more new bad units are released, the more space they will take in the few next BP where OP units will not be put in it like Oliver, Racuni, etc. Like this com2us make bad new units decent in the next few BP and don't nerf OP units like Oliver that lot of people complain about. When you see that com2us even start to make monsters that exist in the purpose to counter the meta monsters like Oliver, Racuni with monsters like Gapsoo or Dark Princess make you understand that com2us rather release counters and buffed them in BP rather than just nerfing the current OP units, just to gain more money and put update on top of update to drown the complaints about OP units. I hope I was understandable enough, and it's clearly possible that what I said is wrong, but that's just my opinion to how com2us work and gain money by making bad units to reduce the work needed on BP and sneekly get away with it.
I really don’t mind them releasing underwhelming units I just wish the next balance patch would have them in it instead of waiting for 2 patches before you see them get a buff
I've been having a lot of fun with the water one. She helps a lot against units on despair/that have stun in their kit. I prefer using swift on her over vio imo. Also, the only reason she's "underwhelming" for most is because she's not a guild war unit. She's specifically for rta against despair units.
I haven't looked the video yet and will in a minute but just from the miniature of video, thank you SeanB. Thank you so much to said that the wind Princess might/could or have the potential to be a budget f2p Tiana. When they have been released I said to others french players like me that she might be a budget Tiana, but no one belived me. I hope after I look at the video that I was not mystaking and that you prove that she is or might be in a futur balance patch a budget Tiana. Still thanks for the new monster showcase and hope that you keep going on for many years ( at least as long the game stay alive ) and hope you the best ld drops and many quad proc runes. Well after watching the video I got enough answers and pretty sad ones. The fact that the Princess don't rlly gots strong s2 or s3/Passif make them not good or at least less than other supports units that would do better. For exemple wind Princess and it's the same big problem for the s2 heal buff + immunity, is that it's actually a bad s2 compared to lot of supports. When you use that s2 you need to wait the monster to move to heal which is ez to counter and just strippe, also that the debuff stay like slow, break def or cc is bad too, your monsters get buff but might just die the next second and that would mean the s2 is less good than the s1 that might save the low unit rather than just giving buff and having the unit die right after. Com2us need to buff that s2 at least giving it either cleanse or healing + the actuals buff, something that make that s2 usefull to save an ally rather than do nothing to saved them. For the other s2 the break def aoe it's also not good enough. Today units that got a s2 break def like nana, momo, kiki, etc have strongs passif to make use of that break def aoe. Those Princess bring nothing to the team with their passif. They rlly need that passif to do something more like idk red atb for the number of debuff on the ennemies or something else but not just break def and that's it. I rlly hope those Princess will shine one day same for their fathers. And when I think about the AC collab and Maiden, I think that BP will not have enough space to buff them all and might even not be enough for some of them. I rlly got a bad feeling for that particular next BP. Rlly hope Im wrong and that will be a good one for once.
Def should have had water dog girl on swift in stead of violent, her whole kit dosent work well with violent - skill 1 it will always sheild the lowest health mon so violenting into it twice does nothing cause dosent stack, also the atk bar reduction basicly does nothing if violent but take atk bar skill 1 on swift - if stunned will take the atk bar and since spd high will get a turn fast - skill 2 immunity is 1 turn so will most likly violent out of it most games Skill 3- her passive only heals when stunned its better for her to be faster and get a turn when stunned then be slower and get two turn just to do a pro active ability or skill 1 for 15 health on a ally almost dead In all her first 2 skills are pro active and passive is reactive. You would usually want to have her like a woosa to put up imminity with resistance leader skill to resist stuff, you want the opponent to see her as a threat when she stunned cause she has the spd to rotate faster rather than on violent where she will just get reset ( if reset while on swift have to be reset twice) Also a note, she dosent have to be stunned. The passive is simply a safty net and you dont have to rely on it at all honestly, she mostly their to heal and sheild and if she get stunned helps more
I watched the whole video and still don't know which one you think is close to being op? They all looked pretty useless, but maybe the wind one is the least useless?
I think wind looked decent, but more as a cleanse/strip in mid paced siege 4* defs. Cleanse strip heal immunity and shielding in one unit. Not to bad to be honest! Light one also looks decent and fire probably force ban niche for rta but nothing more since control defs in siege are not really a thing. At least in my region and level
Here some balance change for water princesse, awake is shit, and passive is useless if not stun so we need a part for when we are not stun just as skill 1. Awaken from resistance leader to +19% speed lead Passive : if you are under inability effect you are immune to atb reduction, and heal at start of your turn by 30% to all ally, and give your whole team 10% damage reduction; if you are not under unability effect then atb reduction on yourself is increased by 15%, and your whole team take 10% increased damage, you increase your whole team atb by 15% at the end of your turn, and by 25% atb if you lost more than 30% of your max Hp between your turn. Skill 2: All the team receive a 2 turn HoT, ally receive 1 turn will buff while you get a 1 turn def buff.
Its a f2p triton that can cleanse 1 debuff not tiana, tiana atk bar boosts where as the new wind 4 star pushes back its 2 dif things!!! Plus she can be resisted so THERES LITERALLY NOTHING THAT SAYS TIANA No clue why people are getting so mixed up
Hey sean can you give me teams for maximilion i got him recently and i just came back after stopped playing for few years need help on where to use him and whats teams to use him with and how should i build him
Water one can be very good against free stun teams if there's no heal block. The Fire one would have been top if she had heal + immunity on 2nd skill, but, as always, com2us can't do SHIT in terms of utility. Ah, and they insulted Yuna from FFX.
You were down voted because new 4* only strips 1 buff, can be resisted, and has no boost making it not even close to tiana. While people agree with him because they agree with whatever he says.
