I mean, If you see the Handler as your character's potential wife then the Palico liking her more hurts less because it's just your child being attached to mom.
About the pros and cons Sophia was talking about, I started with 4U and World has some nice QoL but also annoying things. I like that I don't need to have a supply of pickaxes anymore and no more paint balls since if you know where which monster likes to go where than paint balls were pointless anyways. The mandatory cutscenes and Zorah magdaros "fight" sucks. Feels like world was rushed unfortunately since ancient forest and wildspire wastes got all the attention. Overall, I've enjoyed World (replaying since I haven't finished Iceborne yet) but I do miss my time with 4U.
Yeah this game has had a lot of pros so far, but also a few cons that I'm surprised were overlooked in the development process. 4U aint perfect either, but it some of the issues I have can be overlooked just because it's so charming!
I bought World in january and im having a blast with it. I have to say there are alot of little things that had me like "Huh Rise did this wayy better"
