One Ok Rock - Nobodys Home (Kanji/Romaji/English) 

Taka (singer) left home when he was a teenager, around that time his parents were divorced too. He made this song for his parents (they are both singers in japan). He wanted to be a singer like his parents but both of them were against it (they knew how hard it was to be successful). Afterwards he experienced a lot of prejudice because everyone thought his talent came from his parents and not him so he changed his name. The song is his way of apologizing.

This song gave me hope, One night, i was going home, my parents hates me, my progress in academics falling, everyone just hates me, my girlfriend left me for being a ignorant jackass, my life was *_shit_* But then, this song... It played randomly once i opened my car stereo... Even though i can't understand most of the words in the song, it gave me a profound sense of courage somehow... I listened to it while the rain poured down my winshield, as tears began dripping down my chin, i stopped the car and took my phone and i contacted everyone that i love whom i have wronged.... That was two years ago Now, i look back, remembring the time where a random song from the stereo changed my life forever... Ever since, i listened to one ok rock

The song is an apology to his parents, he had a bad relationship with them and he left his home when he was around the last year of middle school and eventually dropped out of high school his first year. He changed his name from Moriuchi to Morita around 2005 because he had trauma from his last name. He came to terms with his birth name around 2013 though and he has a good relationship with his parents now.

This song made me cry because I knew that Taka wrote this for his family esp to his parents.

You know what makes me kinda angry? Taka wrote an apologise song for his family. He means it damn serious. And what are 95% of the comments saying: This was written for Naruto. This fits... This is perfect for... No, it doesn't/isn't. I can understand that you find it fitting for something, but this is based on something real and sad. You shouldn't compare it with something else, the 100% fit is only for him and his family. Have a little more respect towards that fact.

It kinda makes me sad that this band is not getting the recognition that it should get...😪😪😪😭

I'm here because of being an OOR fan for over a year now, and just to dig deeper into the band's history (it's already become my habit to check their origins as importance of being their fan desu) and listening to this song just makes my heart as a musician more relieved and motivated to do things along the road. It doesnt sound like those sad songs that you cry to but considering that taka wrote this for his parents for being a rebellious kid and all, considering that I also have the same situation, this song makes me cry

Taka wrote this for his parents, and I'd always appreciate and remember that sentiment. However, I the listener, can dedicate this to anyone or anything I'd like because that's just how powerful this song is. I could understand the sentiment, pain and emotion within this song and whether any other listener dedicate to whenever thing or person they'd like, I'd respect it and I'm sure Taka will too.

One of my top favorite OOR songs and the message behind just made me love it even more!

The beautiful opening guitar tune reminded me of the guitar in Naruto Shippuden ending 21 CASCADE!!! A little also of the guitar in Psycho Pass ending 2! The singing was nice as well

I only knew a few words of kanji. Or maybe I dont even know at all, cs I just listened how the anime characters are talking. But this is my humble opinion of this translation, this is deep, and I recollecting thoose words I know after spending a couple years watching anime, I know those words are the translation.
