From their live stream today, they said that they are going back to rock and excluding "American pop". They said they are steering away from American pop style because they already tried it out with their last album. Their next album will be mostly ROCK and Taka said it is like they are back to the old days. I think they listened to their audience who asked One Ok Rock to make more of their old style and are going to the rock route again! I'm so happy!!!! Taka bringing back his red microphone is the proof 🎤❤️✨

Every time you compared Taka to Chester broke my heart a little bit more because you obviously didn't know this, but those two bands, One OK Rock and Linkin Park, were supposed to tour together. Unfortunately, Chester didn't stay with us long enough to make that happen and my heart bleeds for that lost combination. For sure it would have gone down in history. In happier news, one okay rock is going on international tour again this year! You totally need to check out their schedule! And I know you're listening to the music in reaction videos, and I absolutely LOVE watching your initial reactions, but I'm really starting to think that you ought to let yourself collect a highlight reel of songs, things that we here in the comments say you need to listen to for sure, but maybe fill in the spaces with songs that are maybe not quite as popular, but I swear all of their music is amazing. This band is literally the only one that I love every single song they have ever put out.

I was into Kpop for a few years, but I LOVE OOR. They are literally my favorite band at the moment. They are really something special. You should look into more Japanese artists. They're also having a North American Tour with their upcoming album "Luxury Disease" it will be released on Sept 9. And yes, save yourself is included in their new album. Luxury Disease is the English translation of "Zeitakubyo" which is their first album.
Taka says One OK Rock, particularly when he is speaking in English. My suggestion is go with One Ok Rock. If you're want to hear more music like One Ok Rock, there's still many Jrock band you should check out such as Coldrain, Crossfaith, SiM but their song a little heavy from OOR .. What more interesting is all the vocalist from the band I mentioned are best friends with Taka and sometimes they invite each other to their concert 👍👍

I have been playing this song on repeat for the last couple of days. Reminds me of my favorite song from One OK Rock, which is Cry Out. The studio version is my personal favorite.
About the pronunciation, originally (local scene - Japan) it's like the time 1 o'clock. But as they go global, the band accepted one okay rock pronunciation. Having said that, you should react to their Clockstrike song. Live version ofcourse.
I remember a one reaction channel that composed of two, one pure Japanese and other one is grow up probably in states since he knows how to speak english very well. They always said that you dk if Taka are singing in english or japanese since the accent are all the same. Lol. When I was knew to this band, I am also quite confused but at the time goes by, I was able to recognize the language that Taka is singing

OOR loves Linkin Park and they were supposed to join them for a concert for One More Light and I also heard rumors of a collab between them but Sadly Chester died that year as well.... RIP Chester you will always be missed.... they sang a tribute for Chester with Mike Shinoda.
The reason behind "One OK Rock" was because when the band first started (before they ever released a CD) they could get free time at a local studio FOR FREE... but only if they played AFTER One O'Clock in the morning. The band would jokingly say "It's One, OK ROCK!!" and that became the band name. One OK ROCK!! Been a fan since Dec. 2019... and it's on my bucket list to see them IN JAPAN for one of their stadium tours.... that's the only proper setting for this band.

Hello so glad u made in time for the release of the new song today! Also, just wanted to clear sth up regarding the band name. The band actually addresses themselves as 'one ok rock' with the international fans. 'Wanoku' pronounced as one-oku (the o is pronounced like how say 'o' in orange) is used in japan. So calling them both 'one ok rock' or 'wanoku' is fine but it's not pronounced as 'one-o'clock'. Can't wait to see more of your oor reactions n do stay tune for the new album release on 9/9.

"Be the Light", is the next song you should be listening to from One OK Rock! It is such a wonderful song, it was the first song of theirs that I heard. It was the credits theme for the Captain Harlock movie, and it was SO GOOD!!
My fav vocalist is Chester and Taka. Oh Linkin Park and One Ok Rock were supposed to tour together but sady Chester passed away. One Ok Rock performed on the Chester Tribute concert. Forever Chester and Taka

Even Taka says it as one "okay" rock outside Japan, and I personally think it sounds odd to say "one o'clock" when speaking English.

Since you're talked about Chester in this vid, I just wanna shares this here. OOR supposedly have a collab with Linkin Park in 2017 but unfortunately it didn't happen due to Chester's death. Until now I'm still sad about that, they're two of my favorite bands, and seeing Chester and Taka singing together on stage is really one of my dreams.😔 Also, LP is one of OOR's influences in their music Taka loves Chester so much he really looks up to him because he's his childhood hero and idol but sadly, the collab didn't 😭. But Taka was one of the chosen singers who sang in Chester Bennington's tribute. He sang "Somewhere I Belong" live with LP, I bet it's a dream come true for him since LP is one of his favorite bands. Please check out One Ok Rock's hit single Answer is near. Released in 2011, it is mostly in Japanese. The lyrics talks about not letting anything shape who you are and to be true to yourself and how you feel inside, hence Answer is near. It was my first One Ok Rock song and will always be my favorite.
