They are not an OK band at all. They're AMAZING! This performance made me cry lol

The incredible crowd interaction is why we love them, this is one of their more chill songs, but they put on a performance every single time

They have a lots of anthem-like songs that can let the crowd interact with the band, wasted nights is one of those. These band is really great in that aspect. They know how to command the crownd, that is why you can also feel the energy radiating in their concerts eventho you are just watching in ur gadgets. And yes, they are somewhat americanized japanese band as there influences are american bands esp. Linkin Park. They are a huge fan of LP. They even have a chance to tour with LP but unfortunately Chester passed away. They also have a collab. with some western bands like 5sos and sleeping with sirens, so as Avril Lavigne. If you want some heavier stuff of them, ONE BY ONE, TAKE ME TO THE TOP, NO SCARED, KANZEN KANKAKU DREAMER are one of those. Hoping for more reactions of OOR from you :) .Great reaction btw.

They are super famous in Japan. They were collaborated with Ed Sheeran, SUM41, 5 seconds of summer, Avril Lavigne etc.

ONE OK ROCK's older songs are likely more along the lines of what you were expecting from them. I recommend "The Beginning" from this same concert. Their more recent tracks definitely feel more American, and it's both from influences of their favorite bands and because they're trying to make their mark in the West. Their discography spans so many different genres. They're a very versatile band and their live performances are so good. They have a lot of anthemic songs where the crowd can sing along, and many of their songs' lyrics contain positive messages of encouragement. Btw, the band's name is a pun on the Japanese pronunciation of the time "one o'clock," which is when they used to have band practice.

Hey, that was good, surprised me. I'm an old rocker and never heard any Japanese rock. Really enjoyed it. Spent the last 3/4 years soaking in Blackpink/BTS, the world of K-POP. My friends think I'm crazy, but I don't care. K-POP is so much more entertaining then American music, and their M/V's are next level productions. Going to redirect some of my K-POP time to more of this Japanese rock, hope I find it as good as WASTED NIGHTS. Thanks for turning me on to this dude.

I love ONE OK ROCK 🎵 Request a live performance of “Fight The Night”, “Wherever you are”! Please listen to other Japanese songs. YOASOBI and Hikaru Utada also sing in English lyrics, so I recommend them. In Japan, people who work as artists without showing their faces often make MVs with animation. Listen to Ado's " 踊 (Odo) " and "ギラギラ (giragira )" 💓

One Ok Rock is my favorite band. I saw them a month ago at their first EU concert 2023 in Czechia and it's the best concert I have been to. They played in a very small venue (around 800 people) so we were really close to the stage and it was the best. So many interactions, amazing live vocals, Taka (the vocalist) is one of the best performers ever. Check out their live performances of We Are, Take What You Want, Renegades and I Was King (orchestra version). Thank you for the video!

one ok rock is on my list of 4 bands that have no bad songs. one ok rock band-maid kalafina Queen the lead singer Taka has the best vocals on earth (except Dimash, but even then Taka beats him in some areas.) also, there drummer is my 2nd favorite drummer after Akane (Band-Maid again) in terms of unexpected but very tasteful drumming. One Ok Rock actually is/was based out of the US (California I believe) and may be the most recognized Japanese band in both Japan and America. anyway, you can't go wrong with this band. lots of albums, lots of variety in their music, lots of talent, lots of energy,, and lots of 'anthem' songs like this one. they've done quite a few songs that were written for special occasions that literally will make you cry ... the Tsunami; when Japan lowered the voting age to 18 and they got 300 artists who has just turned voting age together to help them do a live recording!!! this is a good find for you, keep exploring, you won't be disappointed!

I would say in particular the OOR is a special crowd anywhere in the world. I just saw them in their us tour and it was spectacular. All of their songs have a crowd inclusive feel to them. Epic
