One of the greatest stars to have played for Kotoko and RTU. At RTU, he played with the likes of Choo, Kwame Danger, Abedi, Abu Imoro, Clifford Addai, Ahmed Dauda and co. At Kotoko where he became a household name, he played with the the likes of Odoom, Nana Eshun, Kwasi Appiah, Razak Opoku Nti, Sampene, Saraah Mensah, Sarfo Gyamfi, Prince Polley, Joe Debrah and John Bannerman
A true legend. Anane kobo was a great player. He played alongside abedi pele, abu moro and co. He was later called ' stomach direction' by hearts of oak fans. This was bcos he shot about 3 shots against hearts that all went off direction. He really played his part. Congrats!
The prolific striker Anane Kobo. No challenger. He was very strong too. Kwaku you are doing well to bringing our heroes to the limelight again. I haven't seen or hear from some of these stars in a long while. The legend Anane Kobo! Kwaku keep up the good works.
Eii Kobo,so you dey this country? One of the most talented players this country has ever produced! I know him very very very well in Tamale when he was playing for RTU with Abedi the maestro,Dauda,Cho Abu Imoro and others. What a player! Kobo has what it called “ball sense” Long live,Kobo!
I used to watched him play at Bantama L/A School growing up. The grown ups used to advise us not to stand at the back of the poles cus he has a very powerful shot😁 and his calfs were very huge😁
Mr.Dan Kweku Yeboah, kindly look for Goalkeeper Jerry Adjei,if you have not interview him yet.I used to leave school to go and watch him manned the goal post for Tema Dumas Boys Fc at Tema Sports stadium, before he left to Kumasi Ashanti Kotoko SC and he left to Nigeria after some years.I will like to have copy of the video on the day you will interview him.Thank you in advance.Peace-Shalom
So from RTU he went to Singapore that is why we never saw him again? His brother, OGBOO ROCKSON also played for RTU. Also we used to play with his younger brother, Maxwell. ANANE KOBO was a household name in Tamale
Heeyii Kobo, his shot was at the speed like a ballistic missile. There are 3 players I will never forget their shots- Anane Kobo - RTU/ Kotoko,, Koffie -Dwarfs, and Anas Seidu of Accra Hearts.
Anane Kobo was great with RTU, winning two back-to-back Goal-King titles, but not so much with Kotoko. At Kotoko, he struggled and lost his position to the likes of Emmanuel Akwetey Quaye (Joe Tex). those were the days of Ebo Mends, Yahya Kassum, Francis Agyeman, and the like.
Almost all the questions I envisaged about this legend were asked! 'Major', you do all!!! Let's have the name of the manufacturer of your wardrobe (if you don't mind). '3y3 f3 pa! pa! !pa! pa!
