Sige, magkalat pa po kayo ng misinformation. Former President Aquino pushed through with Corona's impeachment and unlike Sereno, he was found guilty of corruption as well. This is not a defense to Sereno because I believe she is wrong and has been found guilty due to her negligence regarding the non-submission of SALNs. Wag niyo na pong ipilit na dahil lang naman sa pagsubmit kaya sana pagbigyan na siya. No, she's still liable. We have to follow the rules and the law because if we don't, then why have those in the first place when we'd rather have chaos? Pero parang pagpasok lang yan sa trabaho, kahit minimum of 3 years yung kailangan, ipipilit pa rin ng iba satin. That's the only sure thing I could see here because I do not want to jump into conclusions without incontrovertible proof. However, it's true that it's uncanny for a president to appoint a Chief Justice who's too young for the position. So I still have some doubts regarding whether she was put into position because of favoritism. Unfortunately for all of you, she has the right to defend herself. She does seem smug for even accepting the position in the first place despite her deficiencies but she wasn't the one who decided whether she would go through or not. The justices were a part of that process and what they're doing doesn't necessarily mean that they're culpable of corruption but they're showcasing their incompetence because they only thought of removing Sereno right now when they had years to do it or even the capacity to deny this from happening. As for your Quo Warranto statement, that's unconstitutional. I think Sereno is just fighting this out for the sake of it and she knows that there's a high probability of her impeachment through the constitutional process but if they continue with that Quo Warranto route, it would undermine the law and render the impeachment process null and void. Moreover, it could possibly result to more impeachments which could damage the other justices and other high officials like the president. They have to be careful with this one because it would make our government weak when it's doing its best to be stable right now. A house that fights within itself is vulnerable from opposing forces from the outside. Mag isip din po sana tayo minsan no? Hindi puro DDS dyan, or dilawan dyan, yan ang hirap sa pulitika e pinaghihiwalay lahat ng mamamayan. Kaya sana sundin na lang nila yung proseso, okay naman na yung ebidensya e. Medyo sketchy din na ngayon niya lang nahanap mga SALN niya at kahit nahanap niya po yun, hindi niya pa rin po nafile so it doesn't change anything. Sana lang wag masyadong kabado tong mga opisyal natin at ituloy pa yang Quo Warranto kasi mukhang magbabackfire yan sa kanila. Masyado kasing minadali yung complaint e, kung di sana pabugso bugso ng kung ano anong allegations pa tong si Atty. Gadon, edi sana wala ng idedepensa pa si CJ Sereno. Again, this is neither a defense for CJ Sereno nor a display of hatred for her. May mga gusto naman akong nagawa niya e, meron ding hindi, pero ang bottom-line hindi siya nararapat sa posisyon niya kasi hindi siya sumunod sa requirements.

Janine Villanueva, there's no question about the legality of the so-called Quo Warranto per se, but it has also been said that there is a certain validity of time from which the rule can be applied.& aside from that, The Senators themselves clarified that only in the Impeachment Process can a sitting Chief Justice of the Supreme Court be removed from the office itself. do you think the Senators doesn't know what they're talking about? but nevertheless cute kapa rin hehe

Napakatalinong sumagot si ex CJ Sereno. The only question now is is she not out of tune in separating lies and truth? Is she not joggling it both and come out of her own prescription? I remember what the late senator Merriam Defensor Santiago sad about lawyers, thus: " That is what lawyers are made for, TO COMPLICATE THE LAW." Boom! Thats it. Lawyers seem to enjoy the luxury of monopoly over legal matters. And Sereno is not exempted to that.

Sereno, just to point out -- Anna Lisa Capasite admitted at the House of Representatives hearing that YOU DID NOT SUBMIT YOUR SALN - Feb. 12, 2018. Chiz Escudero, ex-oficio member of the EXECOM of the Judicial Bar and Council decided to include your name in the list of applicants for interview and interpreted "an attempt to comply" (yours) as a "substantial compliance." (The idiot). When Capasite was asked point blank if you did comply and submitted your SALN or not -the answer was NO. In its stead, you submitted a letter explaining why you cannot yet submit the REQUIRED DULY NOTARIZED SALN as dictated by law. Then you went about making speaking engagements maligning and making ridicule of the very Supreme Court of which you are a member. You even called the Quo Warranto a "multo" pag hindi sumunod kamo sa namumuno. From a Chief Justice -that was a FOUL thing to say.
