I love this! This is such a great project. Thank you Chris. Thank you to all associated. I am so in awe of these women. Being born in Australia in 1970, once I began watching tennis on tv, I became inthralled and hooked on watching the likes of Billie, Martina, Chris and Evonne play. I watched every game I could possibly watch on tv. In the 80's I had Tennis Magazine posters on the walls. For a period in time most of them were of Martina N. It's just how I was. I never really played tennis, but I learnt so much from watching our women tennis players. I would not be surprised at all if I learnt how to be a good sportsperson from Martina N and Chris. Their rivalry was awesome to watch in so many ways. Winning best and fairest at a sport was 'my moment', so a huge thank you to them. Even to today, I'm competitive but play honourably. I never did get to Wimbledon to see Chris and Martina play, or any of the other ladies for that mater, but gee I still hold a great deal of respect for women in tennis.

No female tennis player has since Chris Evert's had her grace, beauty and charm. She still has it and will have it even when she is 90 because she is Chris Evert.

I am a lifetime fan of Chris Evert. I Reflect back to the year 1973, I attended a tournament, The Virginia Slims of Columbus, Georgia, that featured The Evert sisters( Chris and Jeanne), Rosie Casals, Margaret Court andJulie Helman. A great event!.

Billie Jean King led the way. I hope to see her acknowledged and interviewed on this amazing WTA interview series.

Really fun watching this video! All are tremendous examples of excellence and endurance (as well as being great role models) for women in sport.

You can definitely tell a lot about their personalities based on the background behind them. Navratilova is definitely in her creative phase whereas Hingis is all business.

We Want MORE!!!!

These four are all great champions in their own rights so can't argue with that. But I still feel the craft of the play and the geometry of the court was best measured only by Hingis. Because at times it almost felt she knew where the ball was going to land. And also she was the last of the teenage phenom class of tennis whether male or female.

Some superfans of specific champions tend to forget that virtually all of these former #1's continue to have great respect for each other's game's and achievements. The 'rivalries' that can lead to trash talk in forums are not reflecting the views or character of these women. Fans of Graf or Seles, or Court, or King, or Serena, have no business pretending to admire them, while saying things that Graf, or Seles or Court, or King, or Serena would never think of saying. Even if they don't all actually like each other ( and for the most part they do), there is always a basic if grudging respect for each other. I sure wish that was mirrored among fans as consistently. I actually can find something to truly admire and respect in every single one of these women from Bueno through Serena because they are all basically good decent people.

I would like to see a Steffi Graf interview or a Martina navratulova and Steffi Graf Duo interview.
