The year cannot be correct. Maurice Bishop didn’t seize power before in 1979. In 1976 the country was still ruled by Eric Gairy

This date is inaccurate. The Revolution was March 13th, 1979. That was when Maurice Bishop became PM. Eric Matthew Gairy was the PM in 1976.

This CANNOT 1976, as your title suggests. Bishop wasn’t PM until after the revolution in 1979. Please check your facts.

I will always remember the morning of March 13 th 1979 the words on radio free Grenada . Eric Gairy has been over thrown . It was a Tuesday morning .
