ONE PACT - 'Loading' & 'Illusion' B-Sides Reaction! 

God in all honesty, this Album is so great, even greater than the one's released so far by the 5th Gen this year. They don't sound like they just recently debuted, and their music doesn't sound like it's for a debut. This album is saying "We are artist, we are profesionals, we are stars". 16:07 of Illusion, when Seongmin entered I'm reminded of Redvelvet somehow.

Actually, Loading / In Progress is an accidental title. Tag said, when he sent the songs list, the song was titled 진행중 or In Progress because it is literally in progress 😂😂 everyone liked the meaning of 진행중 so they kept it as is. Tag also recently said, he's already working on their comeback songs😭😭 He is really insanely talented

Describing Loaded as a street ballad sent me but I'm also now only going to refer to it as such. Lol it's simply R&B. ONEPACt is definitely my favorite group to come out of post boys planet. Jongwoo did the damn thing helping to put this group together.

Both of them are amazing and confirmed how much I love this group again. Loading feels more a song that you can simply enjoy the vocals and be satisfied, but for illusion I can't wait to see what the live performance will be like, it's very unconventional and has a bit dark fantasy taste to it too.

Personally my 2 fave songs on the album are "Must Be Nice" and "Loading", seems like we have the same preference towards "Loading" compared to "Illusion" for the same reasons x') i do appreciate the experimental aspect of "Illusion", but must admit that i vibed so much more with "Loading". Love the width of the sound in this instru, it feels so melancholic. It also gives such a peculiar sensation, as if everything in the song was floating. Really liked the adlibs as well, and totally agree with what you said about the autotune. Not only did the members already showcased their vocal potential and beautiful raw singing voices in other songs like "Must Be Nice", but here the autotune just fits right with the mood of the song and you can tell it's there for artistic purposes. Actually all the members have great and quite distinct vocals, the contrast between Jongwoo and Yedam's voices is especially pleasant. Jay also sings super beautifully in there. And you making a parallel between this and 0WAVE's music was just so satisfying cause i was thinking the exact same thing moments ago and you put the right words on what had only crossed my mind then x'D Love also that you called it "street balad", imo it's such a perfect way to describe that type of music. Think the 1st kpop song that i listened to that fell into that category was "Sunshine" by Stray Kids in 2019, and ever since i've always enjoyed this type of songs quite a lot. So it's no surprise that "Loading" sounds so charming to me. Really, this is quite an impressive album especially considering it's a debut AND was almost entirely self-produced (at least from what i understood there's that member Tag who's been writing and composing most of the songs in there... such a talented artist). Will be curious to hear more from them in the future !
