Against an army that has Regen on everything, Rending is essential, but HDF don't have much of it outside of Shred Rifles. As you said, putting commanders with the lower quality units to get +1 hit would het you more hits, as would firing frag instead of krak. More hits means more saves and more chance of failure. that being said, the dice really didn't go your way today!:(

As a fellow HDF player and a Plague Brothers as one of my primary opponent, I feel this match on a personal level. I think HDF have very little answer to army-wide Regens, especially when they get it buffed to 4+ with a Hero. In my gaming group, one player plays Plague Brother, and everyone else plays Robot Legion. I'm a sad, sad panda.

I think you should re paint your tanks to look like nerf guns, since you've already got orange barrel tips lol.

Get those dice checked. Never a fun game when the dice are so biased. Also the force balance seems way out. With this rule set from this game.
