Lord thank you for choosing the Walkers to care for sweet young "Little Bear" and for giving him a good 1st night and couple of days in his new home. May he continue to adjust very well and be a happy boy!! We do not know if it's your plan to have him become a family member forever or if he's just there to be loved till he can return to his family. But no matter the path, this child is in awesome hands with the best siblings he could ever dream of having to love him for as long as needed!

WOW! I was unofficially given a name by an elder of one of our First Nations' bands, which I counted as a great honour. It is translated to mean, "Little Bear". How awesome is that! Blessings to you Little Bear!
My folks were foster parents and I always enjoyed feeding the babies. It was always so hard to say goodbye to them. There's nothing like a small child's laughter. You can't help but laugh yourself 😊😊
I’m really surprised at how comfortable he is with virtual strangers! At his age, my kids didn’t want anything to do with anyone but immediate family. So glad he’s safe with you 🙌

It's wonderful to see Little Bear so happy and adjusted. So many times littles this age and older have some not so great experiences that make foster transition difficult. He couldnt be in a better home!❤️

They use to call my house THE HOUSE OF STRAYS. Stray animals and kids . Folks would even leave exotic birds on my porch. I miss all that chaos but my health and age are very restricting 😢

@WalkerFarmFam yes I always pray for little ones and their families. I always want the children, whenever possible, to stay with their families. Our family was in a situation where we (my brother and I) were in foster care for a short time because our mother (bless her heart) had lots of issues and wasn't able to care for us properly. My dad and her were separated, and he was overseas (Air Force), and he had to come and get us. Anyway, my brother and I were very young and we don't remember any of it. Our dad told us about it when we were old enough. I'm almost 63, so when I hear of wonderful families, such as yours, taking in foster children and caring for them for however long, it brings tears to my eyes. God bless you all. ❤️
Hey y'all, I can't thank all of you enuf for all you are doing for foster children, These little folks are so blessed to spend time in your home for as long as God needs you to. The children are so involved and understand what it is they are doing and why. When I watch my 5-10 minutes a day of news and they have tried to fill me with gloom, doom and despair I can come to your channel and I can see God's love and presence throughout the video. I gave my oldest grandson the name Buddy Bear when he was little. After a while, it's just become Bear. That is still what I call him. He is 18 now. Love you'll. I'm glad people like you'll are there for the children that need someone to take care of them. Dan 🇺🇸

Ugh, my heart is melting while watching the kiddos with lil bear!!! My youngest is thinking of foster care because she doesn't have plans to have her own for now. Things could change, but whatever her calling is, I'm behind her 100%!!! If she fosters, my only ache will be attachment to the child and giving them back, but faith and love will get us through it all.❤ I thought Maz looked like she might be coming down with something when y'all were taking lil guy around the farm. It's always in their eyes my kids still get amazed when I ask if they feel ok, when they feel fine, and then end up sick the next day, ha!! Even at 30 and 25 years old, a momma knows!!!😊

Huskies are escape artists. The slightest chance they can run, they're gone. We lost our Akita, wolf, husky, Shepard mix when my son opened the door because he thought I had gotten home from work and out she ran. He chased her and she ended up getting hit by a car and we had to let her go. She was too damaged. When you chase them they think it's a game.

Friends of mine were foster parents years ago. Some of the kids were great. They even adopted one. But some of them were real problems. Not the kids' fault, but the conditions they were living in to begin with. They were an amazing family, just like the Walkers.
