I just put together some scenes from the anime to make it look like it was a real episode ! And let's be real, now the Navy couldn't get their hands on Luffy so it'll never happen. The rest of them would be still pretty much a threat that only an admiral or the strongest vice admirals should be able to stop. And on top of that we have armies way stronger than the average men like Germa 66 enhanced clone army, Wano army and Kuja army with ryuo, minks and gioyin being stronger than humans since birth... World Government would need to pull some really new and impressive stuff to deal with something like this. I don't wanna spoil the last few chapters but it seems that SSG invention, the one made to replace the Sichibukai is, indeed, strong enough to face a threat like this one, so it gives me hope that a war like this can actually happen.

I feel like it would be impossible for Luffy to have a public execution. Because of.. 1. His allies, look at what happened with Ace. And Luffy has much more allies than him. His crew, his father, Sabo, Alabasta, Fishman Island, Dressrosa, maybe the remnants of the Whitebeard Pirates, Kuja Pirates, the Kraken maybe? And many more, maybe even Garp or Shanks. 2. His Haki, the Admirals themselves would have to execute him. He'd activate his Conqueror's Haki and knock everyone that doesn't have strong willpower. It's the World Government's execution.

This is probably how the last episode is going to go down luffy finds rogers treasure and the marines capture him and in turn one last battle for basically freedom starts

if luffy were to be captured, not only his entire crew would be on his side, but his grand fleet which is a total of 5,601 members, the entire revolutionary army, including dragon and Sabo, Marco the Phoenix, shanks would most definitely be there and same with Boa, likely the sun pirates and even neptune and his children, the mink tribe would probably make an interesting appearance, and so much more that Luffy has either saved or allied. I know there was alot if people at Aces death but I feel like there would be more at Luffys execution

this would include the entire dressrosan, fishman, alabastan, wano, zou armies. If you include small towns then that would add up to an extra 2. And in the future elbaf will be envolved aswell seeing as luffy is coming there sometime in the future, meaning luffy will save it from whatever crisis that's occurring. if this war happend then Sabo would 🍩 akainu which would be fun to watch.
