I love Brook character. I always cry when he says "I'm so glad to be alive" after all he went through he still being able to say that is just amazing.

I remember I saw somewhere that Nami's past story is considered the most painful, but now..I just keep watching one piece and after learning about Brook's story, I have to say that this is fucking horror. He lost his entire team. Brook was killed, turned into a skeleton, and then his shadow was taken away from him, because of which he even lost the ability to see the sun. He wandered around the ship, was subjected to his hallucinations, tried to amuse himself on his own and at the same time did not give up. He suffered so much, but he kept remembering the last promise he made to Laboon. After a few years, he definitely began to think that the whale might already be dead. Imagine just for a second. Lose all your comrades, be killed by a skeleton, but still alive and with feelings, unable to see the light. Exist with the knowledge that the last whale you hold dear may also be dead, in an unknown place that you can't even get to. It is so painful and terrible..he was definitely filled with emptiness, fear, the desire to die, but even this he could not do because he was already dead. It's so killing from the inside. He was so lonely, and lived in suffering, but still believed in the best, and this best came, but after all the suffering that he went through.. agree that an ordinary person would not have endured. He was saved by his willpower, faith and the fact that he was not able to die basically.

Brooks backstory is for me 1 of the saddest and kinda relatable. Even luffy said that be lonely is worse than getting hurt❤️❤️❤️

At first I didn’t realize how sad brooks backstory was until the scene where the crew mates of the rumbar pirates all die die to how humorous Brook is. I realized he developed this to be not as sad. I felt bittersweet for brook :(

This is beautifull. Brook is my favourite character in One Piece , and I think he’s so underrated

Brooks fruit is underrated. He gets immortality and doesn’t need any human necessities. He also gets some ice powers as long with some type of soul powers
