Glad I was able to squeeze into the top 16 as the only R/P Law player, I had a great time and played some awesome games. Thanks again for hosting such a seamless event look forward to some more in the future.
I've been doing a lot of Moria testing on the sim and I think I'm gonna drop Borsalino for a full set of Ice Age. When it comes to blockers, Rebecca and Sabo just "do more" for the deck.
Just careful of your faster paced 3c to 6c body decks like Law, Zoro, etc. since if you end up with two or more Ice Age in hand and no way to discard them it’s gonna feel bad man
@@amvoriginal That's true, but I'll admit there are just some decks Gecko just can't match the speed of, so it's better to shore up weaknesses against decks I have a fighting chance against than try to rewrite the script. In my games more than once I've had a 8-10 drop threat I either can't get into Sakazuki/Absalom range without dumping my entire hand and THAT feels bad too.
Yea I was having a hard time with cp build into rp law and by luffy. So I decided navy being able to find issho for by luffy and saka into law was lovely. Plus the ice ages when you don’t have stage was a game changer
@@berlinglasgow9585 yea I played 2 enel on stream. its kind of hard to explain right here but when the vod comes out watch how I play into enel in both match
it's crazy to me that everyone is running 10c doffy over 8c rosinante... doffy is such a "win more card" that he is almost completely unnecessary. 8C Rosinante not only plays a 5c from hand, it also protects all base 5c from KO effects.. this is so insanely good in a meta where black is so dominant
Not enough 5c to take advantage of 8c rosi. Doffy isn’t a win more card though. His purpose is to counter opponents top end/wide board late game. You wouldn’t say 10 mom is a win more card… you can say 9c Zoro is a win more card because you only need 1 on board and he doesn’t do anything on the turn he’s played.
@@TacticalDimplesyeah agreed, you really need to run 10 to 12 or more 5c bodies if you want to see one of them when you have Roscinante in hand. In a standard Bonny Deck it’s really only x4 Cav and maybe x2 Bonney for your 5c bodies. The rest is top end, weenies, and your obligatory 4of 4c Urouge and 6c Hawkins.
