I dont consider this deck meta viable until EB01, Flampè is such a huge upgrade for the deck it's not even funny. 95% of the times is a much better Makino but the real benefit is being able to play 7/8 1 Don cards that draw a life and that have 2k counter. It makes the deck much more consistent and gives you a way to counter the main problem of this deck (experienced enemies that simply wont attack your leader xD)
