I think it is incredibly funny that the "God Valley" name making the tenryubito angry will almost definitely come back around with God Ussop making the gorosei or Imu angry for the same reason.
yeah i can see a scene where usopp is broken and bloody as a gorosei stands over him taunting him for his god title meanwhile usopp tries to say it wasnt even his idea but it comes out wrong insulting them even more. and by the end usopp is seen as an even higher god then them alongside buggy
Also what if the power is fear and he can take it just fine because he is a coward who pushes through? Kinda like that fight against Perona in Thriller Bark
@@kokofan50kuma wish was actually to be Nika, he says this to Bonney. After he returned to his kingdom, according to the way Oda drew him in a SBS, he started to help poor people by building houses to them, so he travelled with wood in his back to build houses. So yeah he definily wanted to be Nika but now he would probably be willing to help him.
Wonder if vegapunk put some of the tech like the giant robot had into kuma, which will end up responding to the drums of liberation and we get kuma popping up on egghead in the coming chapters and getting super charged into the new nika battle bot companion for the rest of the story. 😂 that theory got a little wild quick.
@@Matthiass721I like the idea but then why didn't Kuma go to Wano? It could be that it is connected to the giant robot that was activated. But then again it feels like Vegapunk wasn't aware of how the robot would be activated. 🤔
@@Matthiass721i really think and hope that vegapunk actually might have Kumas consciousness/soul/etc stored or even backed up in the Iron Giant. Kumas walking corpse literally responded to the drums and went to go and destroy the red line/mariejoa, but thats what the big robot is supposed to do!! If not kuma in the giant, they at a minimum share the same programing which responds to the drums with destruction of the holy land :)
I got the vibe the Jinny is Bonney's mom. The way she was eating the chicken screamed Jewelry eating pizza. Plus its Kuma's flashback so Bonney's mom needs to have a part.
Jinny is definitely Bonney's mom. Their names are more similar written in japanese. Plus there is no way Ivankov was completely clueless about his own sister hooking up with Dragon and giving birth to a child.
@krashdevaughn5360 Very likely as well, but imagine the total chills we get as Kuma lands right in front of Saturn, Bonney in his arms as he KNOWS he's about to die to save her.
@@MrWarrioracehe does though?, it's confirmed Vegapunk was covertly working with the revolutionaries, and The Helmet Vegapunk ( forgot his name), called someone, when the Marines , first arrived.
I think it's more likely that Jinny is Bonney's mom. It's a Kuma/Bonney flashback, makes way more sense to introduce Bonney's mother here than Luffy's. Ivankov might not even know Dragon yet at this point in time. Their (Jinny/Bonney) names are similar too, and Bonney was also introduced while eating.

Luffy's MOM?! I thought she was obviously Bonney's mom. Bonney was introduced as "Big Eater" and she's obsessed with food. Definitely Bonney's mom (or Bonney is a clone of her 😭).
@@ΣερτηςΠαπαςher eyes are so luffy-like, and idk if u guys forget that luffy is also a big eater. But its unlikely anyone we thought, its oda afterall, the best flashback is definitely coming
Ginny is more likely Bonney's mom. Bonney also has an eating gag, and Ivankov implied that he didn't know Dragon was married or had a kid, so it seems unlikely Dragon's wife would be someone Ivankov would know, and if he did know, he surely would have mentioned it if he was actually Luffy's uncle (assuming 'bro' is literal). And while we don't have official colors yet, Ginny's hair being white in the B&W cold mean that her hair color is pink, which would pretty much confirm it. Also, just the fact that from this flashback we know Gnny knew Kuma, but we don't have confirmation her and Dragon ever met, so her being Kuta's wife is more likely at this point.
Did Ivankov just not know he had a child? So it’s possible Iva knew Dragon had a wife or lover but didn’t know he knocked her up so Iva could have known Luffy’s mother but didn’t know she was pregnant. Lol. I’m not arguing about her being Bonnie’s mother, it just makes more sense.
I think we all just assumed that God Valley was in the New World because Rocks, Roger, and all of the other big names weee there. We forget that Roger didn't just move in one direction like the Strawhats. He was a pirate for decades and he's probably been all over the world.
Yeah I’ve seen people getting it wrong. People only became obsessed with the new world after Rodger found the one piece. Before then pirates kinda were just pirates.
@@painvillegaming4119 😂 I think chapters are getting hyper and hyper, And he just can't contain himself. And I'm all for it. Tekking one of the real ones out there in this pandemic of money chasers pseudo nakamas.
This always happens. Every few years Shueisha cracks down on leakers and the pirate version is delayed until Friday or Saturday, and then new leakers get bolder and bolder and release the chapter earlier and earlier, until its back to Wednesday again. The fact chapters have been coming out on Wednesday a lot more lately likely means we can expect another crack down soon.
The one panel that shook me the most was Kuma’s father getting killed. Like it wasn’t too much of a surprise but also very nonchalantly brutal. I don’t really know how to describe it.
I think a big part of it has to do with the implied nature of how meaningless it was. To Kuma, his family and all he's known as love for his entire life died within a matter of days. When he was given hope and began to cheer up, the hope was killed in front of his eyes. To the Celestial Dragon who killed Klap? It was just another slave. So what if it was a rare breed? It doesn't deserve to be alive for how loud they were being. There is no consequence to killing or "replacing" a slave, so to Celestial Dragons, killing a family who slightly inconveniences you is as natural as drinking water.
@@fatalgaming6244 Very true. And I think the panelling also showed this well. It was like two small panels showing it, not even his full dead body, just Kuma going ‘haha’ and then the back of his head with the CD complaining about the noise while you can see a quarter of his dead body on the right side of the panel. Really shows how insignificant slaves are considered, I think it was that as well. Usually in One Piece you see a bit bigger panels and more reaction and focus, but we got none of it here.

Jinny calls Ivankov "aniki" which is the same word the people under Franky in Water 7 used, so she might not be related to him (although her eyebrows have the exact same shape as his). Also, her name would probably have been introduced as Emporio Jinny if that was the case. Also, are people really settling on JInny being Luffy's mom? That's insane, the cliché here is obviously that she and Kuma become a thing and she's Bonney's mom. I mean, she's literally showing an eating habit just like Bonney's...

especially with there population game like holy shit. Also Whitebeard saying seeing Shanks face always reminds him of scars and the fact his dad looks exactly like him except the length of hair like FUCKKK
Garp is literally a marine so it’s his job. It was probably a double suicide. Cuz rocks was threatening both sides so they had to team up so that explains why Roger got involved
Jinny being Luffy's mom makes so little sense, it makes more sense for her to be Bonney's mother. I just can't see Ivankov not knowing that Luffy is his nephew
@@allenyork3239 It seems as though at that point he wasn't the leader of the God's Knights yet but rather just a member of them because of the text box.
Iva and Kuma being on God Valley kinda reminds me of the Fisher Tiger attack, where multiple characters are involved in a major story pointe in different ways. Not only will Iva and Kuma likely escape during the incoming chaos, but this will also be the point where Big Mom gives Kaido his DF and likely where Roger finds the chest with Shanks in it.
And also where whitebeard gets his famous scar and also where the legendery xebeck dies and also where garp gets his World famous title "The Hero of the marines" and also possible where dragon gets his Motivation for the Revolution And many more Things
So we’re getting a god valley flashback from using Kuma as a POV. Well not expected but totally welcoming it. Also Kuma has been enslaved by the world government in one form or another his whole life. That’s just heartbreaking 💔 😢
It was definitely the Rocks Pirates vs Roger Pirates, Garp & Holy Knights. Holy Knights aren't just going to sit down while the Rocks Pirates attack. We also know Rocks D Xebec targeted the WG directly.
Proves to me that the combative Celestial Dragons are indeed the strongest in the WG. They are the last resort. Saturn only stepped on the island because Kizaru couldn't do the job.
He mentions humans In a way separate from him, not sure if he is just an actual devil or his devil fruit is cracked and he looks down on non celestials
He looked the same 38 years ago, not 47 years. They very likely are imortal, seing how he just take out that blade and easily healed. But they are not from the void century, since it appears from Im that only Im (and Zunisha) is alive for so long. The gorosei probably get their imortality in different times in history, but not in the void century.
@@davidortiz3094actually it was all just a coincidence. Saturn was going to egghead to take control of the seraphins and pacifistas in case Vegapunk used them to protect the island. However Luffy being there left the situation way worse and he decided to appear since there was to problems to handle. But if it was not for the seraphims and pacifista, he would not leave Mary Geoise
Something interesting to note: When Shanks met with Whiteboard, didn't he say that the alcohol he brought was from his home country? If so, that's probably a real precious gift for Shanks to give away, since God Valley no longer exists, and goods from there must be very hard to come by 40 years later. Plays into how Whiteboard was trashing it when he heard it was from West Blue, but drank it immediately when he realized where it came from.

Hear me out: what if after age 90, there's no noticeable difference when aging until year 140? Would add weight to Dr. Kureha getting so offended whenever her age gets rounded up.
Which makes me believe even more that he’s the weakest of the Gorosei. He seems to be the oldest of the 5 given the cane, which leads me to believe he was the last one to be granted eternal youth as he was the least important one and if that’s the case then Ju Peter is gonna be really scary.
@@Iqnacio.interesting, my take on it was the opposite. Like it took the longest for him to become immortal, and they were able to figure out the process more quickly in subsequent attempts
That would actually be amazing. My main complaint with gear 5 is that oda the master of foreshadowing never spoke about nika until like 3 chapters before it appeared but this would actually tie everything together

Saturn is pretty much confirmed to be an Ushi Oni at this point. Killing someone by looking at them and inducing paralysis are both things that Ushi Onis are said to be capable of in some legends.
Franky steppin in to save Luffy ans saying even the top dogs of the world are after my captain's head while laughing just made my night. Franky top G confirmed, again!
When I think about it: When Garp punched Marco during MF and even tho almost every pirate was scared shitless, it was specifically Ivankov who sadi in awe (or even fear aswell):"Monkey D. Garp, the Hero of the marines !" It kinda makes sense why he was so shocked apart from Garp, being, well, Garp: Ivankov most likely saw him fight in his PRIME. This MUST've been a quite scaring sight.
Interesting that Saturn said the Strawhats would need luck to escape from this scenario. Reminded me of Smoker saying Luffy was out of luck before Dragon saved him. Also Saturn is critically unaware of the fact Luffy has Plot Armor.
@@painvillegaming4119 I don’t think it will be next chapter but I think there are too many signs to him showing up. I think he will 100% show up in the flashback probably as a Young marine that arrived on God Valley with Garp and saves Kuma, Ivankov, and Jinny. And this is the catalyst to him starting the Rev Army.
I feel like Dragon is going to be one of the Marines that show up with Garp but ends up betraying the Marines and helping the Slaves escape possibly with the help of Roger and the chaos that happens with Rocks without Garp knowing.
@hurrapa Yeah I've seen lots of ppl calling out Garp, especially if he's aware of what the celestial dragon been doing. How can you defend that? I'd rather believe he has ulterior motive, something like you suggested.
imagine if xebec was actually not that bad of a person and was just like luffy and roger. and he had friends in god valley so when he saw what happened there he snapped and started killing everyone. that's when roger and garp came to stop him, and to cover up the "population eradication" game, they put the blame on xebec and that he's the one that killed everyone on the godvalley. and that's also why garp doesnt want to talk about it cause he was protecting the real criminals
The problem with Jinny/Ginny being Luffy's mom is that Ivankov did not know Dragon had a child at all. I feel like if his sister was the mom and Dragon was the dad, he'd know somehow. Jinny/Ginny resembles Bonney too and that to me feels very likely.
So we’re on track for Kuma to have the saddest backstory in One Piece, right? Robin and Brook are close, but we know they got happy endings eventually. As far as we know Kuma basically died a slave.
@@testadizzy95 Can agree... ... ... But losing your Captain and your whole crew afterwards... Being lonely for 50 years with your Crews deads bodies are around you... I think Brook is Up there as well...
That panel of kumas dad doing the nika drums then getting killed hit me right in the feels. Kuma is definitely shaping up to have one of the greatest backstories, really hope dragon makes his appearance too.
@@mashizzung9990I took it as his dad's death being so fast and unpredictable, that Kuma didn't even know how to react. Like, in a split second, Kuma was an orphan. And it happened so fast he couldn't even compute it.
Garp is probably already a Vice Admiral and could be on the Guard unit for the Celestial Dragons which after seeing this Population Eradication Event made him refuse to work directly for Celestial Dragons ever again
Luffy vs Kizaru right into Gorosei DF reveal right into THE GOD VALLEY FLASHBACK is an INSANE 3 chapter run. Oda is really just unloading the entire clip right now.
I feel like many are forgetting that Luffy was having to keep up with a man literally moving at the speed of light. I think he deserves to be a little tired haha
Jinny is 100% Bonney's mom people are crazy to think something different. Look at Bonney's intro panel and you can see her holding the same piece of meat (the one Luffy usually is depicted holding is a different piece), she's in Kuma's backstory, also the kana for Bonney (ボニー) and the kana for Jinny are extremely similar (ジニー), the similarities between them are much stronger giving the story being told.
It's either kuma or revolutionaries who will come to egghead island. Kuma's backstory had me weeping on the bus, he never came to be concious of him saving his saviour Nika, i hope kuma doesn't die here, i need more of him.
seriously, did everyone forget about the ancient robot waking up a while ago? most likely scenario is it will reach the surface, notice saturn and immeadiately attack, given the strawhat time to escape while saturn is busy defending against the iron giant.
Revo is imposible, they are all still in Kamabakka yesterday, and won't surpassed Kuma's tele speed. I prefer BB crew messes things up and gives SH crew chance to escape
I think Saturn let the will of his ancient devil fruit mix with his mind after living for so long. To the point that the awakened form is his true form and he views himself as not human
I'm in favor of the Gorosei being actual demons instead of having devil fruit abilities. But if the devil fruit spirits were actually alive and controlling the elders, that would be a really cool take on it.
I think similar to nika/luffy/joyboy. His fruit would be attracted to his spirit and personality and because of that his devil is himself. Like Professor Hulk where his fruit and himself already been aligned with each other where they almost become one person. Luffy has done it so it’s only logical Saturn has done it a long time ago. He likely before his fruit viewed himself as above others like doffy and the other celestials. I mean that’s the running theme of all world government folks that’s above the marines.
Wait, the fact that he reversed his wound like reversing time on it as he is gripping Bonney could mean that he has the ability to use the devil fruit of who he has a grip on.
@@painvillegaming4119 Immortality only means not aging (and possibly immune to disease). It doesn't mean you have a healing factor or can't be hurt; those are in the realm of "indestructible" or "invulnerable".
Luffys mom is going to be the hidden amazon lily empress calling it now. Jinny is definitely bonney’s mom. Shes eating a piece of mutton, and her daughter, jewelry bonney is known as Glutton. Plus, Jewelry Jinny sounds pretty damn cool.
... why would you assume that Jinny, a person who is in Kuma's flashback, looks like Bonney, eats like Bonney, has a name similar to Bonney, and helped rescue Kuma (Bonney's father) from slavery... is LUFFY'S mom?! That makes absolutely no sense.
Kuma man . . . all those years ago when he first showed up (Okay not technically first time we saw him but you know what I mean) I never would have thought he'd be such a lynchpin of the story. Now a bit of a theory, the drums of liberation "woke up" the giant mech on egghead and if that mech is the basis for the technology for Kuma's cybernetics, could the drums wake him up to? Which is to say, restore is humanity and truly liberate him and finally bring to life the legend he's been clinging to? I really hope that's where we are going with this
I'm so laser focused on Bonney and Kuma that I never stopped to consider Jinny to be Luffy's mom. I mean yeh but nah Luffy gets his eating habits from that Monkey D. side of the tree. Also, God Valley being dropped here is incredible. Never thought it would be a slave's view instead just about revealing Rocks plans but we're getting more. Probably my chapter of the year.
Chapter 1078 page 9, we see a panel of Bonney crying. We know some reason why she probably saw this. God valley reveal is crazy and made me think what would the straw hats reactions be to learning about this cause they might learn about this soon. Hope we see more of this flashback.
What an amazing chapter this was! This is definitely shaping up to be one of the best flashbacks in OP imo. And I just want to say that I really love the poetic writing of Kuma and Luffy’s relationship. Kuma risked everything to save Luffy, his crew and his ship. Little did he know that he also saved the user of the Nika fruit as well. And now he’s potentially going to see Luffy in G5 depending on how this incident goes lol
I love seeing Franky save Luffy, he has been lacking good scenes as of late. But, he really has come clutch when it comes to saving Zoro in Wano and now Luffy.
This chapter tells me that Rocks knew this event was happening & came to wipe out the Celestial Dragons & anyone in his way. Roger showing up was just fate. Garp showing up bcuz Garp always chased Roger. Secondly this proves that the Admirals are not equal to Yonkos. 1 hit from Luffy dropped Kizaru while Kaido kept getting up. Also that the combative Celestial Dragons are indeed the strongest in the WG. Third Saturn talks like Kaido. Seeing everyone as "Humans" & below. Kaido was not human. I also believe the Gorosei & Imu aren't human either.
Honestly, I think the Tenryuubito are actually in a way on the path to becoming a different species Given the number of families and how long this has been going on, pretty sure these people are beginning to show signs of inbreeding. With some "mutations" that they can develop I would say they could be considered an adjacent human-like species at some point. One doomed to fail when the infertility kicks in, but still.
I think the inbreeding concept is one that hasn't been touched on but is implied by the existence of St. Charlos's *questionable* intelligence. It wouldn't be out of the realm of possibilities. Though there are a lot of Celestial Dragons, I doubt that they all view each other as "equal" and that they feel keeping their bloodline pure like an Austrian Duke does the trick.
I love how theres no depth the World Nobles wont sink to. They held a hunger game tournament for their own amusement just because they owned a country.
@@Greendalewitchactually, the cartoon villain is Doflamingo, traping people inside toys and he decided to k1ll everyone in Dressrosa after he lost, etc. The world nobles are like real world politicians and imperial figures especially from the past. I'm really curious how the straw hats are getting out of this. Maybe kuma appears and sends them to elbaf just like sabaody? Maybe a morgans intervention? Perhaps Blackbeard causes enough of a ruckus to allow them to escape? So many ways this could go
I think Luffy gonna save Bonnie cause he’s nika and her last thoughts rn are him liberating her while she’s about to be killed. Whether Luffy defeats Saturn though is anyone’s guess. I’m not sure what happens after
These Celestial Dragon are getting more heinous as the story progresses, I need Luffy to Bajrang gun these people to dust One attack from Luffy has Kizaru paralyzed I wasn't expecting that holy shit Gear 5th is nuts Lore Piece is back baby this God Valley flashback is gonna be insane God Valley might be "thriller bark" and Moria set sail and moved it to the Grand line Jinny might be Bonneys mom as this is Kuma's flashback
Kaido seems to be the most durable even more so than the admirals as he took multiple hits from gear 5 luffy after getting weakened from all the previous fights
Even though the situation looks pretty dire for the strawhats, i think most if not all people forgot that when luffy turned into g5 against kizaru, the void century robot below vegapunk's island woke up, and will most likely be the one to fight saint jay garcia instead of luffy
I think when Garp shows up, we gonna see Dragon and Akainu together under Garp. Great way to set up their future fight, and will somehow connect back to why Akainu hates Dragon after he left the marines.
@@HehehexDD Not confirmed yet; Kuzan has a habit in the series of seemingly killing people but actually just saving them. Plus even if he's fully team blackbeard, blackbeard would want a new high value hostage to replace those who escaped.
Well, you called the regen, Tekking. Saturn was unexpectedly polite and civil through the whole thing. I guess you don't get to be a world leader without at least the appearance of decorum.
Im more and more convinced that thriller bark was indeed god valley. Even Captain John who was a member of Rocks Pirates has ties to thriller bark and god valley. Remember the treasure marker that Luffy found on thriller bark? The one that he gave Buggy during Impel Down
Well yah that's what you do if you know your not going to to keep the story going to take a break you either a put book end the current events or end on something to give the audience a reason to want to comeback
When I saw Ivankov at the end of the chapter it now makes more sense now why they were so upset when seeing Kuma at Marineford they way he was. They litterly have been friends for a long time 😢
Possibly, but also, we sort of undervalue guns in One Piece. Most of the prominent characters don't use them, sure, but they're still potent. Kaidou killed Oden with a gun. Doffy killed Corazon with a gun. Especially if you wanna talk about adding haki to the bullets, a gun is probably a very reliable weapon for the Gorosei to use without having to reveal their powers.
They dont need to transform everytime they want to k1ll someone, they can just use the gun. In this case off course the gun would not work so he transformed.
Kuma would be the perfect door to door bible man as he can teleport himself into your house or send you to church. One of the best irl fruit powers I'd love next to the chill chill fruit and food food fruit
My first thought was that Jinny was Luffy's Mother but it might just be Bonney's Mother, since while Luffy loves to eat, Bonney even more so. Plus the first time we see Bonney in the story she's eating, Just like Jinny is here. Plus the names. Jinny Bonney, their simular enough I think their the connected ones. Plus Dragon currently is 55, he would of been 17 at this moment and Jinny looks too young for that connection. Kuma being only 9 fits it better. Thats my ideal. Jinny is Bonney's Mother and not Luffy's. Though I wouldn't be against the thought that if Jinny is still alive somewhere, Luffy's Mother is with her. Interesting thought I just had. Going with the theory that Luffy's Mother is a Celetial Dragon. What if she's thought to be dead by even Dragon but is currently a member of the God's Knights with Shanks' Hot Sister. Just Throwing it out there if it wasn't already thrown.
I don’t get why people are jumping to Jinny being Luffys mom, just cuz she is eating meat. This is Kuma’s flashback it is far far more likely that it is Bonneys mom. Even goes with Odas normal naming scheme, Jinny ---> Bonney. (Also if she IS Iva’s sister it would be really dumb that he never introduces himself as Luffy’s Uncle when they meet.)
Love the new backdrop, but Nami and Brook should switch, and you have the East Blue Crew in a line, and the Grand Line Crew in a line. Chopper can hang with Kaido, tho 😂
2 things from this video. 1 i would love for Roger's backstory to NOT be tragic, like actually a pretty happy childhood to just subvert the expectations. And 2 Nika 100% was the same race as kuma
Pretty interesting that Sanji was hurt that bad considering how Imu(?) got a hit on Sabo that looked shockingly brutal for his strength level. These guys are on a completely different level
Why would Garling Figerland bring his baby child to an island where he's hunting humans? And how did shanks get into a treasure chest? And why wouldn't Garling want to get his child back? Many questions
I think he though he died with the mother the mother put him in the treasure chest for protection and after Garling realized his son was alive and he wae shanks he though of him as not worth anymore since he was raised by pirates
I'm afraid that the person who highest possible gonna to die in this arc is Kuma. Also he have almost none true happy life, except probably only one the time he spent with his daughter Bonney.
So with Jinny, my gut instinct was that this is Kuma's future wife who he has Bonny with. It fits that she's a glutton like Bonny and also shares a similar naming scheme. (Bo-NNY & Ji-NNY) Now... could it be possible that Bonny and Luffy are step siblings? I don't know for sure, but its a possible idea. Although if Bonny is a clone of the original Bonny, would that change anything?
@@HehehexDD Wasn't that from an old interview? Oda said that before they changed ship and everyone essentially agreed the crew member who is supposed to die is Merry.
Just wants to say that in the pannel which the celestial dragons beginning the tournament, there's 6 boxes behind them. My theory is that these boxe contains the prizes for the champions- Devil fruits. Maybe that's the reason rocks invade God Valley. to get those powerful devil fruits. And maybe one of them was the fish fish fruit that big mom found and gave to kaido. maybe even Kuma's and Evankov's fruits were there, or Dragon's fruit, or Whitebeard's fruit...
I would love it if the reveal was that they do just have devil fruits. But regular fruits, not mythical or anything. Saturn just has like, a normal ant fruit or something, but the raw power of the elders and Imu is making it look mythical in power
going back to when Kuma offered Zoro to take Luffy's pain... it makes sense he would have this kind of mindset knowing what he went through in his backstory Also hearing Tekking say Wang Zhi again feels so good
I’m honestly thinking that the Rocks crew might have been trying to protect the island. The only wrench in this thought process is “Why the heck did Rodger teamed up with Garp/WG to take down Rocks?”. So yes, the Rocks pirates were a band of mischiefs, but let’s not forget, the WG is the one who interprets stories and controls how history will be remembered. Although he might have been part of Rocks; Whitebeard is a good guy, and he’d for sure would have wanted to help an island in need. Big Mom, in her own way, is a good person. Most recently, we saw how mad she got when she heard from Otama that Okobere town had been attacked by the beast pirates. Finally, when it comes to Kaido, his motivation was probably not protecting the island, but attacking the Celestial Dragons. We saw from his teenage year that he hates the WG/leaders. I really like this idea, but again I just can’t come up with a good reason as to why Rodger teamed up with Garp. If the Rocks crew had bad intentions, then the island is doomed regardless giving Rodger no reason to step in.
So what could have happened is that this tournament is held once every 3 years. So maybe the Celestial Dragons blame a random pirate for the eradication of the people, they make the news after all. So Rocks could have been that pirate. He learns about the tournament and goes there to try to stop it by killing the Celestial Dragons. The moment the Celestial Dragons get attacked they call the marines in the area which is Garp who was chasing Roger. Roger also arrives at the island and both Roger and Garp assume that the news they read about Rocks must be valid after they see the carnage and team up to take him down. Young Kuma looks a bit similar to young Whitebeard so Whitebeard is a good candidate for saving Ivankov, Kuma and Jinny. Garling tries to murder the kids Whitebeard steps in hands the kids over to a random marine who turns out to be Dragon. Dragon finds Garp after the skirmish and thats the moment when Garp learns what truly happened.
I’m thinking maybe rocks showed up to kill all the celestial dragons or more likely hold them hostage against Mary Geoise. Then roger showed up to put a stop to a giant bloody massacre and ended up teaming up with Garp to stop Rocks from acting out his plan. Remember rocks wanted to take control of the world? He COULD’VE used god valley as a stepping stone toward his greater goal if it weren’t for getting stomped by roger and garp.
@@Serovious yea, that’s possible, but also think about who told us that Rocks was trying to take over the world. It was the WG saying that. They manipulate stories to fit their narrative. The only thing I can think of is that the WG lied to Rodger and rest of the world that the Rocks crew was responsible for God Valley and that’s why Garp and Rodger teamed up
Kuma's definitely headed to Egghead to save Bonney and us Red Paw-Paw Bubble on Luffy to remove all pain and fatigue. Then Kuma could see Joy Boy with his own eyes before he RIP
Definitely see Kuma dieing this Arc but there's a chance Luffy's gear 5 imagination powers can somehow unlock Kuma's mind, even briefly for Kuma to say farewell to Bonney.
I think Luffy and the Gorosei have a the highest tier of Zoan fruits. I think there are normal Zoans, Carnivore Zoan, Ancient Zoans, Mythical Zoan, and Mythical God Zoans. Basically a tier above Mythical Zoan. It could explain some of Saturns weird abilities.
