The anime has height inconsistencies (Kaido first appearance in the anime made him as tall as Oz, perhaps even bigger) and Big Mom size changes the more she absorbs souls , just like Moria with his shadows
@@togucvinw7 definetly not, your height scaling is broken if you think Kaido has been shown as Tall as Oz, he was as Tall as a giant, I watched this scene More than 100times so I know. And in the manga he's actually in his normal size
@@mansart26 it does since the planet is bigger you go further from the core meaning there is less gravity meaning there is less restriction on movement so you would naturally grow bigger from the fact there is less of a pull on you
One of the biggest inconsistencies to me is Lucky Roux/Roo, who was originally shown to be shorter than Shanks but then at marineford and in this vid, it has him to be much taller than Shanks.
He actually as confiermed to have grown no explanation as to how but this was made also as an age change since more than 10 years past since we see all of them from luffys perspective, (we saw them prior to marine ford but changes werent applied until after MF)
the way I always see it is that the high on One piece represents maturity and age. To represent a kid looking up to the adults. That is why the adult of one piece are tall as fuck while fluffy is 1/3 of their size. Shank in the first episode has the same body proportion as Ace but at the battle of the Marine Ford Shank was at the same high as Akainu.
By the logic of One Piece, I'm starting to believe that characters in this anime never stop growing. I mean, think about it, Whitebeard seemed a LOT shorter during the flashbacks when he fought Oden, and now, during Marineford, he was a literal giant beast, way too tall to be considered a human anymore.
@@Triumvirately it is confirmed by oda that whitebeard is a human and alo in a different interview he confiermed human grow a lot in one piece. being part giant is not required to grow tall, actually being part or fully giant means your averange is more than 8m before groing more
These height infos are totally baseless. At the very beginning we saw that morgan was double time taller than Garp, but according to this comparison Garp supposed to be 2 cm taller than morgan. Also Roger wasn't look 1m taller than Rayleigh the time they met Oden.
idk why but first time we saw garp he was hella short specially compared to marineford, its just a mistake made by oda but most of these are pretty accurate except rayleigh/roger
Giants are around 15-20 m. WB is 6.8 m. He should look 1/2-1/3 of a giant, right? If you watch Marineford you will see that WB looks 1/10 of a giant in proportion and marines are 1/10 of WB too. Animators literally are mocking us.
Imagine if all the Copy and Paste girls were the exact same height too 💀 Also Robin being the fourth tallest Straw Hat is astonishing, but what's more is that Sanji is the sixth given how often they proportion him to be a beanpole with those legs of his. I thought hed easily be the third at least beside Franky and of course Brook.
@@jujulapapay7047 I think Uranus must be related to sky or heaven or sun. So I don't think Momo is Uranus. Pluton - From *Pluto,* Roman God of Underworld Poseidon - From *Poseidon,* Greek God of the Sea Uranus - From *Uranus/Ouranos,* Primordial Greek/Roman God of Heaven/Sky.
シャリフサッレ in a way if Lunarians used to live on Red Line which is the highest part of the world, and celestial dragons seems to live here to be « in the sky » appart from the rest of humanity, and Zu is even higher than Red line which makes him above the sky himself, so I think it can match with the mythological figure of Uranus (sorry for bad english I am french 😅)
@@chazer7022 all the heights are cannon its just that the anime scales them differently because.. ya know its kinda hard to keep them in frame with such varied height differences
the funny thing with one piece is size changes so much. one moment king is insane huge another hes not when hes fighting zoro. take kiku shes supposed to be 9 foot tall but never appears anywhere near that
Oda how many huge OP characters do you want Oda: Yes Edit: Btw i think The Elephant is 2nd Tallest thing in entire anime The 1st should be Florian Triangle
this is kinda proof that one piece is set in the far future as people in the medieval times were a lot shorter than us now with regular men at an average of 5'6 showing how much humans grew over that time with men now averaging at 5'9.
Luffy, my dear 174 boy, when did you get so tall? T_T You are now taller than Makino! And lol, the Zeff picture. Is this measurement his or actually the hat's? X,D
You forgot the Florian triangle monsters that are like 3 times taller than Zunesha and make Thriller Bark look like a normal-sized pirate ship when juxtaposed next to them, but I guess that's fair enough since they don't even have an official name or have anything known about them
@@Ocachino it would be lame as hell to write it off so easily by explaining it with a phenomenon we had already seen before and understood at that point especially given that the whole point of it is to BE an unexplained mystery
The sizes in the anime/manga are variable and used to convey emotion. It's an art style choice, not meant to represent their actual size. It's an exaggeration of their general aura reflected on their size.
Also some of these numbers seem wildly wrong compared to the size depicted in the art. If these were true, zoro would only reach knee-height of king. That's not how i remember their fight.
@@keep7smiling I just reread their fight and Zoro is genuinely tiny compared to King. It's easy to miss because of how dynamic Oda's panels are, he uses a lot of perspective shots, but whenever there's a clear panel of them standing equal distance, Zoro only comes up to King's knees.
very wrong numbers. This is fully inconsistent with everything we know from the manga and anime. Impossible that most characters are over 250cm, we see them all the time drinking, sitting in chairs etc....next to normal citizens, and everything looks normal. Do you know how tall is 250cm? these values make no sense.
For those of us without the metric system and having trouble understanding how cracked these heights are: 4 feet: About 122 cm 5 feet: About 152 cm 6 feet: About 183 cm 7 feet: About 213 cm 7 feet, six inches: About 229 cm (Characters above this height are taller than the tallest active player in the NBA) 8 feet: About 244 cm 9 feet: About 274 cm (Characters at this height and above are taller than the tallest human person on record.) 10 feet: About 305 cm (Characters at this height start showing up about halfway through the video) 20 feet: About 610 cm (This is around the height of a two story house. Characters at this height and taller show up about 2/3rds of the way through the video.) 164 feet: About 50m (This is the original height of Godzilla. Characters at this height and taller start appearing in the last two minutes of the video) 555 feet: About 169m (This is the height of the Washington Monument, which once held the record for the tallest structure in the world. There is one non-animal character in One Piece that is taller than this.)
Stelly is 180cm tall when he is an adult but shows the picture when he was a little kid. And page one human form height is that small not his hybrid ancient zoan form. So misleading.
The tallest known human was 267 cm. EDIT: I was wrong. Mr. Hailu below me is correct. The person who surpasses the known human limit is none other than the Eternal Pirate King Gold Roger at 8:10.
@boy Afrika Yes, Mr. Hailu already corrected me. Roger is the first human character taller than 2.72 meters. What is your country, if you don't mind my asking? (US, RI here)
I’m like 2 minutes in and this list is already wrong 😂! First off Page 1 in his normal form may be that short but you put Page 1 in his hybrid form and secondly everyone knows that Sanji is taller than Zoro 😂 smh. You could literally go look it up!
