“Quickdraw” William Emanon “Saint” Duros Verona “The Humility” Ragnar of Valhalla “Pyrrhic Princess” Pearl (Tarako?) Notes: -Epithets are solely based on actions within the episode. - William’s was probably the hardest this time around since he didn’t have any real standout moments, but the two moments he did have both involved him quickscoping a target from a fair distance and dealing serious damage with a flintlock pistol. - Duros’ had a few elements: rising from the “dead”, “taming a dragon”, and being a damn wholesome man. I initially wanted another Arthurian allusion, but ultimately settled with “saint”; short and sweet. - Verona saved his teammates, admitted and faced his fear of fire, and killed “Hubris”. I wanted a name that contrasted hubris and this was the most badass I could come up with. - Ragnar has gone full nordic berserker, bear transformation and all. Between this and his “revival” he certainly deserves his place under Odin. Plus, I’ve already used “grizzly” as an epithet. - Pearl’s name hints to her “cursed” nature, and how she would (probably) be viewed as a liability by her parents, and how she views her power as not being worth the cost. It also evokes the image of a pyre, hinting at her flame-based abilities. Also, alliteration. I do these on every episode, and I have fun doing them! Feel free to look under each video to find these if you so desire. Ok now my points on this chapter: 1: william and verona literaly save the party at the last second even damaging atom really well it was great but they kind of keep it lowkey 2: first i thought they are giving the devil fruit to the almost blind dude but then the smell thing made it out to be the best option plus the eyepatch bear 3:everyone spoke like true op characters it was aweasome 4: last battle was soo great that it made them seem like they got such moral boost that they were the epitome of cool and you skipped 1 turn of pearl but it was ok

This was an amazing session. The near death experience already had me anxious as heck. The fruit was as expected, and I'm glad it went to Ragnar. I guess Hubris did kinda get jobbed like Fullbody did. Can't wait for more One Piece: Pirates except they're actually pirates and not illegal tourists.

Theory: Rustage said that someone among the crew comes from one of the islands on the map, he also said that Pearl is the princess of the Tarako kingdom. Pearl also said that Duros reminds her of someone, so what if Duros came from the Tarako kingdom and used to be Pearl’s guard?

"That was meant to be way harder." They're no-name marines. The fact that they ended up as canon fodder should surprise no one.

So Pearl is a shy dragon girl. Are y'all accepting invitations to this crew? 😍

I was waiting for William to yell: "OH MY GOD SHE TURNED INTO A GIANT DUCK!"

Full honesty. I was a big detractor to the series, but this episode was so much fun you won me over. Good job.

I want Nux Taku to play as a guest and have his own crew

the battle at the end of the session was like the episode after the training ark or like after the time skip and they absolutely destroy everyone

I wish that Oda would make a manga adaptation of this as a spin off series (like with what happened to one punch man)

Literally greatest D&D I've ever used as background sound

Sometimes it takes a couple sessions for the characters to come into their own and for the players to get comfortable roleplaying and stuff. I think we have all seen that here. The first two sessions were good D&D, this session is GREAT D&D. I was hooked from start to finish and I can't wait for the next episode!

That last battle was absolutely amazing! I'm imagining it and it could actually be in an anime. Verona is basically an assassin. William can shoot accurately with a damn flintlock pistol. Duros is basically Bastion from Overwatch. Ragnar is now a grizzly bear filled with scars and an eye patch while holding a axe as large as himself. And Pearl is a fucking dragon.

Pearl: "you aren't you when your hungry. Here, have a Snickers"

So, tips and tricks: There might be a "Death Saving Throw" on your character sheet, that you can also press to roll it, depending on the program you are using. The next are more dependant on GMs, but I'll just state it as written: - A nat 20 on a Death Saving Throw actually heals the Character by 1 HP, meaning he is ready to fight again (more or less) - You can try to stabilize a comrade by making a Medicine Check DC 10 (this way, you don't have to rely on healing spells or medipacks or even too much luck), success means you have stabilized him NOT healed. That might become important later on if one drops again. - ... You can knock out a creature in melee combat instead of killing... Don't know whether you want to or not though... I hope it helps. Watching Ragnar and Duros almost die and Verona just standing there was kind of... Terrifying

I hope that when they fight the bone dude Rustage says:"you feel like you're gonna have a bad time"

How I picture future interactions: Pearl: Don't look at me, I'm cursed and hideous! Duros: Are you kiddig, fair dragon maiden? You are magnificent! A truly powerful and prideful force of nature! May... may I ride you into battle?

A bear and a dragon on one crew, almost makes it look like beast pirates... ow wait, sadly that one is already taken.

The whole vid in a nutshell Pearl unlocks serious PTSD and Duros has insulted the captain many times and Ragnar can turn into a bear now.

The foreshadowing for Verona's backstory was actually incredibly well done in hindsight, but also so subtle that literally no one asked about it. 😈🍀

Pearl: *has wings, claws, and fire breath* Litterally fucking everybody: it's a dragon The crew: must be an angel

ragnar should also get more HP and an intimidation bonus besides strength after consuming a zoan devil fruit

The Ragnar back story based reason for taking the devil fruit and that whole sequence is the most one piece moment of this campaign so far.

Verona saying "fecal matter" with utmost seriousness is 100% good.

Are we all just gonna ignore the pure irony of the civalris knight (Duros) protecting the maiden from the dragon (pearl)

Here's the haki I can see the crew having William - Conqueror's haki, Armament haki, and Observation haki. Verona - Armament haki and Observation haki. Duros - Armament haki and Observation haki. Ragnar - Armament haki. Pearl - Armament haki and Observation haki.

We still need Nux Taxu as the main villain

How's lost pause holding up he seemed kinda upset at the end there? Considering he made a good guy paladins knight person and everyone else are bloodthirsty cutthroat pirates? In my experience its best to have a group discussion about this and change course if you have to, gotta make sure everyone's having fun

The fruit would be called the bear-bear fruit: model grizzly. Zoan type devil fruits that deal with a type of animal that have multiple kinds are split up into models, like kaku's cow-cow fuit: model giraffe, or Robb lucci's cat-cat fruit: model leopard, or Dalton's cow-cow fruit: model bison. So if you wanted to you could get another model bear fruit for Duros and have him be a large armored bear man with increased strength and endurance so he can wield bigger weapons and shields, be faster in his armor, or more terrifyingly turn into a huge armored bear to charge down an enemy formation.

I want to see if William learns Haki or gets a Devil Fruit

I loved watching this on twitch. You could see the inconsistency of the chat, it went from "fuck pearl" to "omg best girl" to "pearl wtf?!?!?!" It was honestly hilarious. Btw Verona for vice captain, this episode honestly pushed him from being my least favorite member to quickly passing Duros as my number one.

This was hands down Ragnars episode and I liked Hubris alot for his personality and voice too bad though

I’m glad the campaigns going smoothly. First time I played D&D our DM made all the enemies way to powerful and my friends and I had terrible stats so we spent a good 3 hrs killing 4 people

I love these sessions and this campaign!! Please don't drop it prematurely. These videos make my day and fill it with laughter. I honestly cannot wait for the next episodes.

Was recommended the first episode last week and I fell in love with it. Watched this episode on twitch. I'm really happy this is a thing. It's really cool to see content creators that I follow play d&d. This is a good reason for me to look at the ones who i dont follow to check out their content. But also I really like the crew as a whole. They feel like me and my group when we play d&d. We aren't professionals by any means. We're just a group of guys having fun and catching up for the week. This is exactly what it feels like to me when I watch this group. Granted they are way more organized than my group in some regards lol. Keep up the great work and remember to gave fun guys. I'm loving this campaign.

The sessions always seem too long to sit and watched but I'm having such a fun time watching this that I yelled to becoming a bear. I loving this and hope theirs will be more d&d when I catch up. And I'm watching more of of this channel so thank you for entertaining me with a game that I don't know base on a manga that I don't read
