I like this arc and I like the upcoming arc :) Sanji's departure made me tear up to. He has a big heart, and he stuck around for so long because he felt indebted to Zeff. It's a conflicting emotion because Sanji didn't know whether to chase his dream or continue to feel indebted to Zeff. Zeff understands this, "kicks" him out, and tells Luffy to take Sanji. It's a bitter sweet moment because Zeff is trying to free Sanji from this guilt, but Sanji still acknowledges, no matter what, he will always stay grateful for the companionship and everything Zeff and his crew did for him.

this farewell is so iconic

it's crazy to see how one piece has progressed, and while pacing is still a a bit of an issue, it does become understandable when u take into account the manga being incomplete and the anime trying not to outpace the manga, so filler and drawn out episodes become a way for the anime to slow down and let the manga catch up! one piece is super chill and sometimes when ur in the modern anime mindset with fast paced action, mindblowing animation, and years of animation experience, u kinda forget to appreciate one piece as it's own thing, rather than something u feel like should be better than everything else in every aspect when u think of it's immense popularity and content. but it doesn't disappoint, i promise, it's janky and slow but it rlly adds to the whole experience, weirdly enough!! and it does get better, don't worry! I would also probably recommend watching more than one or two eps a week is possible, it makes the show easier to watch when u still have the previous episodes fresh in ur mind, since like ash said, it's a very binge-able show, but in any case i look forward to more reactions, thanks y'all
