They didn’t change any arcs btw, the author of the one piece manga guided the production of the live-action so that’s what it’s primarily based on but they also used some arcs from side stories, which is why it’s so different to the anime, they can’t do it 1 to 1 so they’ve chosen to weave the story together in a different yet fluid way compared to the anime, they’ve also added some scenes that you don’t see in the anime, for example: zoro’s fight against mr 7

Regarding the fruit; One bite is all it takes to receive its power, after that it becomes a normal but disgusting tasting fruit and doesn't grant powers to anyone else having a bite after that (most that have eaten one of these fruit didn't know about this and chose to eat the whole thing regardless). A character called Jabra during what they call the CP9 arc, mentions to two people ''one bite will leave you with a lifetime of problems''.

So, to answer some of your question: No, they havent found the one piece yet. Yes, it is real but most likely not a treasure. You dont need to eat the entire fruit, just take one bite. Also, even if multiple people take a bite from the fruit, only the first person taking the bite will get the powers. Also, only for the first person the fruit will taste like arse, for the rest it will be a normal fruit

Don't bother with any other live action adaptions since this is the first one to get it right, but also consider getting back into one piece reactions, lot's of us would love to see that especially since faxityy does them as well. Maybe even some time way down the line a sour taste joint reaction would be amazing

Personally I feel like you should watch anime I know it looks difficult to get into but it pays off. Also don't watch it as if it is a best anime or don't even think it is good just think it as a parody. Best way to enjoy it is to look at it and joke around it and have fun. NGL, I wasn't ever a big fan of One Piece. Watched 30 or so episodes, thought some of the premise and powers were "meh", thought the art wasn't my style and that I didn't really get hooked. NOW? I want season 2 of the live adaptation. Oda being part of the production and having him 'okay' things in the show CLEARLY payed off! I started watching the anime again, and in a less critical mindset, and am just enjoying the silly/fun/yet emotional story. For what I've watched, I really enjoy the changes made in the Live Action, but still really enjoy the original show. The changes still hit those important story moments and plot points just the same. I'm loving the cast, they are REALLY good fits for their characters, and the side content/interviews they've done are just so fun and wholesome to the point that I'm loving them. The practical effects and the live sets shot in Cape Town South Africa bring that feeling that this is a real world to immerse yourself in, and when they use CGI it's good and sparse enough that you don't mind it, and it especially works since the world of One Piece is what it is so it fits well.
