true, 1st he proved himself in Arlong park, then he proved himself in Little Garden and now here. I feel like people listen to his words more than his actions, he is an ultimate lair. On one side he keeps saying he is scared and running and on the other side he is pulling off awesome stuff (which make his words actually lies)

Ugh i love the way Oda made Mr.4 a fourth batter. In baseball or softball the fourth batter is usually the most powerful hitter since the bases are loaded and they are trying to get a grand slam. Little details like that make one piece hella awesome :)

So hyped for next episode, we get see Zoro, Nami, and Sanji's big fights.

The Civil War begins, and so do the fight stage The filler arcs post-Alabasta was more for padding if anything. At the point of finishing, the anime was 8 months behind the manga (nowadays the Manga is a year and a third ahead) and Oda will take week breaks here and there. The first lot of fillers after Alabasta aren't bad but the one after does shift off the pace. The crew put clever strategy to split the BW agents though, using the guise of shrouds to hide their identities, only for them all to be feints (thanks to Lashes posing as a human) so Vivi could move without interception...except for the Billions at the castle, who cloud her in a smoke of sand from Koza's sights. And it got worse from there, Bon Clay escaped Usopp and Lashes and posed as Usopp to get to Vivi, thankfully their contingency allowed Vivi to see through the deception, but now she's being chased by Mr. 2 Oda heard those predictions and laughed dead in the face of them, took a couple tag outs but the actual battle lines formed differently to how they started. Thanks to Karoo's spirited push, he manages to lure Mr. 2 for Sanji to face, Usopp is the one who joins Chopper against Merry Christmas (and her Mole Zoan DF: Mogu Mogu no Mi/Mole-Mole Fruit) and Mr. 4 - who has no DF but does have a 4 Ton bat and a gun that 'ate' the Inu Inu no Mi Model: Dachshund/Mutt-Mutt Fruit Dachshund Type) We still don't know how inanimate objects 'eat' devil fruits, but somehow it can work like that. The key part of the Usopp/Chopper fight with Merry Christmas/4 is cohesion, the BW agents are a well-experienced unit while Chopper and Usopp have never really fought together, eventually they have to learn to fall into their strengths, mainly Usopp's proficiency in deception, but that can only get so far once the lie is uncovered, so Chopper gets some clutch action with his Brain Point. But it's not the end, there's still more to do and it's only then do only Usopp and Chopper learn that Luffy was defeated and presumed dead by the BW agents.

This is pure speculation; but I think that an item is forged and cooled off in the flesh of a devil fruit; or along the same lines the devil fruit is powdered by dehydration and the powder is added to the metal before melting so the metal "consumes" the devil fruit as the impurities are being burned out. I have yet to see an item made primarily of wood or plastic with a DF power attached; so I think its applied in the process of forging some how.

I have seen the blow up hammers in real life so I guessed that was what I was seeing the first time watching. Its a brilliant bluff, but you must convince the opponent before swinging that you could swing it for max effect. This was the fight where I began to like Ussop... butlike you I did not fully back him yet.

to bad they no longer animate the cover stories, for a better explanation, Oda does side stories in his covers that focus other characters in previous arcs 2 of them that happened are as follow from Arlong crew, Hachi (the octopus) escaped, met a mermaid by rescuing her from a sea monster and opened a takoyaki store on a boat with the mermaid Then about Wappol, basically he landed on an island, ate a lot of things, figured he was really poor, made toys to sell by eating junk, and someone scientist noticed the metal created by his Devil Fruit has unique propieties and he became rich founding the Dark Drum Company I think there are others by this point but cant remember them, Ill also post a summary of the ones that follow like now cause they no longer are animated, and god it would have saved us so many fillers
