That's what I miss about One Piece. Now it's all about "Luffy is my captain and he will be pirate king." Remember when all of them had goals of their own and joining the crew was their way of achieving their goals while providing value to the crew?

I would love another arc like Skypiea, no plan, no yonko, no saving a kingdom, just a fun adventure to a place thought myth. I love that we are going into Wno now, and I am hyped, but to have another pure adventure mode straw hats again would be amazing.
It might not happen since it seems like we're heading closer and closer to the endgame of one piece. It just wouldn't feel appropriate considering everything that's going on. Though I guess they could have a breather arc somewhere along the way. It would be nice.
Well that might not happen considering everything that happened before and after the war. And believe it or not, there are a few clues from the Skypea arc that connect to bigger things; i.e. Gold Roger reading the Poneglyphs and Enel's trips around the moon.
@@chapacoka We're still far from the end. I believe there's still at least 6 to 8 arcs after Wano. Oda just says shit like "80% done" so people can stop asking him when it will be finished. We're not at all near 80%.
@@JohnDoeTheGoodGuy I never said anything about 80% nor am I really basing it on anything Oda said or any real evidence. It just feels like the point in the story where the usual One Piece wandering shenanigans (no plan, no war, no alliance, just pure adventure) is over. I feel like there's just too much "serious plot" happening right now for a lighthearted adventure. Again, I'm not really saying this with any concrete evidence and if I'm wrong I'm not going to be particularly disappointed.
This was actually one of my favorite arcs of the whole story! I really hope they visit sky island again in future arcs or at least in filler arcs if they can, I would love to watch a whole filler arc about sky island! Maybe they can bring up what Bellamy went through when he got there since we still have no idea what he did and how he found sky island.
@@ElrealMariopwns !skypiea spoiler below !yea alot of people skipped skypiea because it was "boring" they missed hilarious comedy and mysteries like who wrote the ponegliff symbols on the bell and what is the purpose of the bell gandora. Not to mention Luffy's final attack was epic. Even if a one piece arc is boring, they really shouldn't skip it because alot of stuff that doesn't make sense eventually will make sense in future episodes which literally happens in every arc in one piece.
Alabasta Arc is very entertaining too with tons of jokes, but it starts to be more serious after Luffy meets Crocodile and fight him for the 1st time, well as serious as OP can be, it still contains jokes too, like how Mr 2 fight Sanji and Mizu Luffy lol And the 1st time Nami using Clima Tact

This is definitely one of the funniest series of scenes of One Piece. After this, there was that incident where they were playing with the surprise balls and got really surprised.
Adrianto Sukarso That is definitely at the top. But the beginning of the Ordeal of Balls just had one ridiculous thing after another in quick succession.
I remember the first time I saw this scene I had to repeat it like 6 times, I couldn't stop laughing. Now I watch it and I still laugh. This 3 are my favorite
That moment of total silence when the boat goes into the abyss is brilliant. Just for the audience to realise what just happened and then we get the reactions from the characters. :-D

@@user-on9yy9zc5m It's good that One Piece has a balance of being serious and funny. Without one or the other, it just doesn't feel right. I'm far behind in terms of episodes but I do hear the current arcs aren't as funny anymore and more serious than before. I guess I'll enjoy all the funny scenes and gags when it lasts.
I feel the unique combination of Luffy, Ussop and Sanji is gem in the series, Its rare to see how the dynamic is among the different members of the group!! Usually, its Nami, Ussop and Chopper, Franky, Robin and Brook and the strongest trio but Oda really shines when he mixes up the team. Its a pity that we will never get this adventurous arc and all the arcs now will be heading towards the climax...

Lmao Remember when Luffy compared the choices to a game show where only 1 path was the right one? In this case only 1 path was the wrong one and they still got it. Lmao
@@orionverduijn5539 its a 25% chance to loose.. lol the other gates didnt lead to falling but this one did, which pretty much means its the bad one so they had 75% chance to pick one of the good ones (3/4) and 25% to pick the bad one (1/4) and they got the bad one lol
Sanji-chan’s face when they were falling was hilarious😂😂😂And Luffy laughing at the end while Sanji-chan was kicking the snot out of him cracked me up!🤣🤣🤣🤣
The jokes and gags were all so on point in Sky Island. Literally none of them went by me without me laughing but this had me gasping for air, and when Oda did it again when they left I nearly died myself. XD This was just peak comedy to me. The setup, the timing, the execution were just flawless as it perfectly mixed with the spirit of adventure supported by Luffy's laughing at the face of death. That is what it means to go on a thrilling adventure, the possibility of death is what makes it the most worthwhile of going on.
It's been years since I've watched the episode this scene is from, and for whatever reason, TODAY, I thought of it and had to see it.... The whole two minutes never gets old and I seriously put myself in tears from laughing hysterically.
When luffy says "you know what this reminds me of?" And ussop says "what" his delivery killed me😂 Its like 'I know its gonna be bad but lets hear anyway'
But he would have fallen into the ocean. Everyone else would be dead, so there’d be no one to save him and he would drown. Maybe Luffy didn’t think that far again because he’s an idiot.
