Out of all the openings, WE ARE and WE GO are the songs that truly captured the essence of one piece. Damn I always feel hopeful and emotional whenever I hear the songs. I can't wait when they reach laugh tale. Oda please be healthy and finish the story successfully.
and Over The Top! Everything Hiroshi Kitadani sang for One Piece ^_^. He's the singer of the songs you mentioned and Over The Top! Great starters for the major arcs
Luffy is so freaking inspirational. How can't you love this guy? Just this song encapsulates his essence, just strife and Adventure. No matter what, he keeps pushing forward. Best anime protagonist I've seen by far and I'm only in the 500s of op
This opening was a godsend. After all that happened to Luffy during Sabaody, Impel Down, and Marineford and seeing him at his lowest points, hearing this opening and finally seeing him with his crew again and continuing his adventure with a smile on his face made me extremely happy.
The song really nailed it when Luffy, Zoro & Sanji went to town on two Pacifistas. Officially, the Straw Hats have return. Now that's what I call a homecoming.
This was 7 months ago but One Piece built and executed a timeskip perfectly. IMO, black clovers timeskip was dog shit. I felt Asta had grown stronger but it didn’t feel like he had if you get what I mean. A example is like what you said, previously in Sabaody with the power trio combined they barely managed to take down a pacifista, displaying their weaknesses and lack of strength. However, post timeskip, Luffy beats it in one punch and Zoro and Sanji go absolutely ham on it. THAT convinces me how strong they have become. This is the reason One Piece is the best for me. Never in my life have I seen such a perfect timeskip but I can’t help compare every show and book I read to One Piece. Eventually when it ends, everyone will see how goated and perfect it is.
@@robbie-paulbaines5847 wdym, asta was barely able to beat elves, but right after time skip we watch asta take down an entire army and solo a devil user
I’ve noticed that I don’t tend to cry often with anime and manga but when it comes to heartfelt music around some of my favorite series I’ll start balling my eyes out.
This is basically the “we are” of the second half of one piece. And they definitely made it extremely good. And it’s also sung by the same person. Work of art.
The emotion I had when this played as they left sabaody archipelago and reunited, it cannot be described in words. The fact that this opening even has a piano version as well just says volumes about how good this opening is.
*Wealth, Fame, Power. The man who acquired everything in this world, the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger. The final words that were said at his execution, sent people to the seas. "My wealth and treasures? If you want it, I'll let you have it. Look for it, I left all of it at that place!". Men now, chasing their dreams, head towards the Grand Line. The world now enters a Great Age of Pirates!*
Bro the orchestra just makes this opening one of the best in the series IMO! The fanfare vibe is just simple outstanding. One piece is truly goated and I am going to very sad when the pirate journey is over!! 😢😢
This opening just SCREAMS ONE PIECE for me, it’s upbeat, kinda makes you want to go on an adventure yourself with your own crew. Which is what One Piece is all about. They better bring Hiroshi back for the final opening (when they get there)
Definitely feels like the perfect song for a timeskip onwards. First one fits pre-skip because it just has all the roots. But this fills the entire adventure with renewed energy, soul, and excitement alongside the joy the first one gave
this when they find the one piece and we are at the very end, maybe to some narration speaking of how the strawhats are doing years later or hell maybe at a execution of luffy
During this era of one piece I was going through a very rough time and one piece got me threw it. I still cry every time towards the end of the song its too good.
Gold Roger, the King of the Pirates obtained every treasure that the world had to offer. Smiling even as he stood upon the scaffold, he issued a challenge to the world. "You want my treasure? You can have it! I left everything I gathered together in one place! Now you've just have to find it!" Now those who dare to dream. Hoist the flags and set sail into the Great Pirate Era!
This song always gives me feels! It’s like no one can relate to me! But when I hear this song and “we are” I get so grateful for my straw hat friends! Thank you Oda for being a mastermind behind this journey that we all appreciate! You the G.O.A.T 🔥🔥🔥🔥🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I never got into One Piece but I love this song so much. It feels nostalgic. Kinda like that feeling towards the end of the school year when free and fun summer is around the corner.
You should, it maybe rather a tall task to view over a thousand episodes but once you are hooked, you'll not want to stop, it's truly worthy of being the king of the big three and Dragonball true successor, Oda is a one of a kind story teller, he has created a series that flows fairly naturally with lots of different places to visit and some crazy power systems that actually work and don't spiral out of control to the point where he has no clue how to defeat the main villain of the story as the series rivals fell into that trap and used some silly gimmick to pretty much escape from that trap! I recommend One Piece for sure, it's a grand adventure!!!
@@superomegaprimemk2 Me 3 months ago, "1000+ episodes? That's way too much" Present day, "There's only 200 episodes to catch up? THERE'S NOT ENOUGH EPISODES!"
ngl this is probably to this day the most hype op i remember as soon as i heard the anime got to the time skip i wanted to watch to see the return to sabaody and fish man island arcs animated and i heard this and immediately got hit with the hype we all had while waiting for in the month break for manga
I just Finished Watching The first Post Time Skip Episode Of One Piece. Man after all of the depressing openings we got, I have never felt so satisfied hearing this for the first time.
Luffy truly is the sun god Nika, the shining sun that will shine upon the entire world take away the darkness. The next great pirate saved and changed the world and future
Years after constant sadness and depression, after everything Luffy went through, after this plays you can't help but smile because the opening is telling you "THE STRAW HATS ARE BACK!!! AND READY TO KICK ASS!"
one of the reason why one piece is so popular to people cause oda represents great how people dream of youre going on adventure with the people you cherish most, admit it, we all dream of traveling across the world with our friends and reach our individual goals to while supporting each other, we all seeing and feeling it through luffy and and strawhats thats why theres a magical connection between us and this greatest anime/manga, this masterpiece also mirror a lot of reality and social issues.
This Opening is absolutely electrifying. With everything that happened to Luffy and he finally got back to the others and smile genuinely again..It's impossible to listen to this and NOT get chills. We Are and We Go absolutely nails home the goofy pirate adventure written by none other than Eiichiro Goda.
While listening, I can see that scene after Luffy one-punched the Pacifista, then Zoro and Sanji showing up, and finally Luffy shouting to Rayleigh. Oh, I feel like rewatching the whole thing AGAIN (for the 3rd time). 😁 The nostalgia... 😊
Ichi... ni... sun-shine... Ichi, ni, sun-shine... Ichi, ni, sun-shine, yon... WE... GO! WE... GO!!! It was a beautiful start for Fishman island saga, good memories🥰
This opening gives me one of the best memories I had. Hearing this before seeing the straw hat crew together again was so good. Brings tears to my eyes
Who else here remember when Luffy say's ""This time, i'll do it."" to Rayleigh? Oh myyyy that scene always bring tears to my eyes. This song is the Background music to that scene and it suits perfectly.
