That is the best way taunt twice you can also do a jumping triangle or on ground also his grab move works to it's a interesting way to get his haki I think I understand how it actually works the taunt reduces the damage or number of hits to get the haki he has a hidden haki meter something like that
Something i found out for Rayleigh is if you hold down the button turing his drinking taunt he drinks for longer and you get a 60 second attack buff. Not sure how well known this is.
It's like garp's if you do the taunt the third time, he will fall asleep and get some subtle amount of help (taunt without Haki, if he has Haki...it won't work) I don't know about Roger's different taunt if you can hold it for long tho but it's the same with a bit decency in terms of giving buff
Using the taunt 2x is easier, if you use 1 time you have to complete the combo for it to appear. Garp's a complete monster, dare to say is the best of pack 6, not that Roger and Rayleigh aren't as well.
after building a proper set of skills on Garp, I enjoy him more than Roger as well. I initially thought Garp was weaker than the other two, but honestly he feels like a combination of Oden, Kid and Zoro gameplay wise. Having the ability to delete everything in a particular direction with the press of a button is amazing
Fully agree!! I was looking forward for Roger and Rayleigh the most but after playing all 3, Garp is a freakin menace 💀 Instantly became one of my faves!
I think it's like how shanks, film red shanks and mihawk gimmicks work... I do a shortcut myself in my combos the way i do it with film red shanks like square + triangle and dash cancel afterwards then repeat the process 2x times not only to make it saucy but also to make it easier, it is also more fluid doing dash cancels Doing it as a taunt is optional, finishing it like film red shanks is risky.... Also i wanna add garps third taunt, it's like a tea bag but with a healing capability
I love using garp just a hardcore brawler especially with haki never know about the taunt but i prefer just using this combo since i'm always attacking.
