I think the element that makes these songs so sad for one piece fans is because of the constant running joy of the characters in One Piece is the first few chapters. You start off thinking all the characters live these spotless lives, and enjoy the amazing, carefree world they inhabit. ( edit: When ) the sadder backstories started drifting into One Piece, you start to realize why the characters act the way they do. Luffy is always outgoing, and joyful because he never had anyone to really connect to as a child, and when he did, the thought of loosing them was enough to tear him apart. Zoro is always exerting himself to no extent, constantly becoming stronger because of the promise he made to a girl that died long before he was strong enough to prove his strength to her, that's why he's always enraged when someone thinks he's weak, or not worthy of a task requiring the skills of a swordsman. Nami was constantly pressured for money at a very young age, like her guardian before her. Nami has developed a strong interest still in hoarding money, because she fears what might happen to her if she isn't prepared with loads of cash. Usopp is constantly running, never stopping to look back because he's afraid of those that might get hurt if he worries about his situation. Usopp never stands up to difficult challenges, even though he tries his hardest, because he believes he could never stand up to all the lies he's made up in the past to make those around him feel protected. Chopper hates seeing people hurt, that receive no help. Chopper was never given proper treatment by others, because of his odd appearance. Robin has inquired trust issues ever since she made a deal to team up with the world government in finding out what the stones read. She thought she could never be forgiven for what she did, but being forgiven she constantly feels like she owes Luffy, and her crew back, that is why she acts nice, offers help, and is a generally caring character in this series. I could go on and on about One Piece characters all day, but what i'm trying to put out there is that you have to remember that all of the characters mature along with the audience, and in that process we discover that these characters change based on their struggles. BTW: I love the picture you put here, gives a great example of the saddest theme of one piece. - struggles - )
@@SB-nd4yv Brook is high spirited skeleton, the reason he is always in such spirits is because during the years he waited alone on the ship his crewmates and him passed away he felt lonely as everyone had left and he had returned to a place where he shouldnt be. Because of that he went through immediate depression as his nakama laid down dead around him, he wished that times where like before so he incorporated his own music into his personality and sang at all times to make the time he spent in the ship alone, feel like he was still with his crewmates. Franky was thrown off the ship his parents were living in they were also pirates, later he became a carpenter who is very talented but had to work very hard for what he desired being the disciple of a legendary carpenter only made him think he could build the greatest things that existed, at the beggining many ppl doubted his unrealistic designs and doubted them but that only made him push harder, franky wanted to show that he too could be someone amazing, this because of being abandoned, he has a personality that naturally makes him show off what he has, by flexing or making himself look admirable to his own understanding, he likes having attention for being awesome on the things he does and as a person, but he also has a soft side where when he sees that someone is caring he tends to tear up as that is something that didnt come natural for him, gestures of love deeply touch him even though sometime it is exaggerated in the anime.
I'm 20 and I'm sick of my dad telling me what to do and how to live my life. My parents are very religious but at least my mother is a bit more understanding and loving. My dad on the other hand is very strict and manipulative. He once threatened to kick me out of the house if I didn't go to the mosque with him. Since I was a little boy, I've been craving freedom over everything else. That's why One Piece makes me feel a level of happiness I can't put into words. I'm off to college now and I'm going to tell him to his face that he has to stop telling me what to do. Even though I'm sure that he does it because he loves me and wants to protect me, I'm an adult now and I have to make my own decisions (and mistakes). He has no right to take that away from me. I need to set sail for my adventure.
Yes dude, go your own way, if you're dad still doesnt approve just walk away and dont.come back. Because you shouldnt have to pointlessly deal with a toxic close minded person. My familiy also has a religion, but we keep it at bay. Everything is very mild and understanding, it actually took a awhile to get my parents to understand what exactly mental health issues mean, first my sis, then my other sis then me. Now im thankfully in a better place so I dont have to stress with school, and my own problems so much anymore. Everything is better because I held on, and even if I wanted to die I somehow managed to keep living no matter how hard it was. And now, im doing much better. So I mgetting of topic lol, if your dad doesn't approve and understand after you trying to reason with him for 2 hours, just leave, because in my opinion, its pointless and tiring to talk to someone who doesnt listen. Its like you're talking to a brick wall. Just leave and go your own way, you dont really need your dads approval, ofc it wouldbe nice to. But you cant waver and let your whole life be controled by your dad, especially since the world could be changing into something different with this covid situation,

@@unlimitedperseverance1706 it is, im a nurse and i have to deal with people's pain, mourning, frustration, and so, i passed for severe depression and anxiety for two years, its true for some people is dificult than others, but there are still reasons everyday to be happy. But sometimes our problems abd our head dont let us see them.

Can I just be one to say, as a long time subscriber, you're compilation playlists of One Piece orchestra and miscellaneous genre of music has both light up, comfort me and got me pumped with every emotion I had to tackle with for the past 3 years. @@willramos26 Can't wait for the next 4 years of one piece end, a manga full of emotions, rollercoasters and sad moments that we the one piece fans will cherish with every emotion we could possibly have, the ending might be awful, bittersweet or downright amazing, I cant complain the journey we have thus far has been the best!
The first one is yes, piano version of we go, but it is also known as 'the path towards the sun' and I really love this name. It's when Ginbe gives his blood to Luffy in fishman island. The historical moment when the fishman 's actual pursuit towards the sun starts.
The second is senior pink lost his wife and baby For many it just a simple sad backstory but for me as a husband and father the sadest of all backstorys in one piece. I only cried more when my daughter was born

It's not about old, there hasn't been any major depression event in the post time skip period except Sanji, but as we are nearing towards the end (which is coming way sooner than we imagined), they will definitely use these tracks and I am pretty sure every fan Will have their eyes numbed..!!
