One piece is a story with such good detail, Oda has managed to make a world so interesting and realistic, it just blows my mind. Each character has his/her own significance in the world and the story and everything that happens in this series from the first episode till the last somehow connects with everything without leaving any gaps. This is truly a very difficult thing to achieve in a story and it just proves how much Oda loves making it and how much effort he puts into it. Respect.

I'm interested in that hidden history more than the treasure honestly.

I got something to say and MY OWN summary in 'Family of D.' it is said that these families are POWERFUL,ENORMOUS,MIGHTY and PROSPEROUS and destined to change the world. What i think is the 'Family of D.' which is the people in Great/Ancient Kingdom one of the 20 Kingdoms which is existed before the Void Century.The Great/ancient Kingdom knew that they will lose war and their information will be destroyed,that's why they wrote their writtings in an undestroyable stone called Poneglyphs to pass the messages to the future generations . The Twenty Kingdoms which is (One Piece- World government) became enemies with the Ancient/Great Kingdom (maybe because of its power and its destiny, these 20 kingdoms got envy so they destroyed Ancient Kingdom and its people and got hold of the Ancient weapons ). That's why the 20 kingdoms formed the (One Piece) World government and Celestial Dragons which is they considered themselves as the gods and after destroying the Great/Ancient Kingdom they called it the the VOID CENTURY. What they don't know is that THERE ARE SURVIVORS in the Void Century which they hid their "D" initial to survive and pass the Will to the new generations. (One piece) World government had been quite for about 8 centuries,doesn't know that the few Family of D still lives . So after 800yrs the island called Ohara were all people are archeologist existed,they learned about the Void century ,they also knew they were going to get killed so they threw/buried all information and some Poneglyphs from the Void Century to the seas/somewhere , but the (One piece) World Government discovered the island called Ohara full of archeologist people,(One piece) World government came to Ohara and confront their leader and an old man came in front of them and explained everything and is about to exclaimed the meaning of "D", however the government killed him before he could speak the "D",(One Piece-World Government doesn't want to hear anything about the Void Century) then everyone in island got slaughtered and burned the island,but there's an archeologist survived its girl kid(Let's stop right there,we know her already). The few Family of D that lives after 800yrs are: -Monkey D. -Trafalgar D. -Portgas D. -Gol D. -Jaguar D. -Marshall D. If you watch One piece more than 400+ episodes, you already know them and their personality. My opinions in "D" are: Deity,Destiny,Danger,Disaster,Descendants. Thank you!

It's somewhat interesting to have seen these amvs more than half a decade ago and them now reappearing in my recommendations... and i still remember the epicness I've felt back then that rearises while watching them again. And it's even more weird to have seen the scenes a decade and more ago... i get really emotional and i'm just about to cry out of sheer nostalgia

After all these years, this is still my favorite One Piece AMV/ASMV This touches on all of the subsurface plot points that lead to the mystery at the end. It's all connected, and tantalizes the thought of "the mysteries of the world". One Piece is so well done.

Everytime we encounter a person with a ''D'' in their name we understand a little more that One Piece isn't about a guy who's searching for the greatest treasure of all time. It's about a complex and cruel Goverment system where people suffering every day and how the ''will of D'' will create a storm that will bring justice and peace for 800 years of slavery, restraining and amusing on the pain of the weak. To once again unite the world to one piece.

One piece is so amazing as it literally reflects the world we live in. The common belief between all religions that a Messiah will come, to save humanity from the injust commited by mankind, Racism, Arrogance and supremacy of the ones in power over the majority, oppression of the masses, Good being seen as bad and bad being seen as good(Akainu kills innocents and thinks he's good but Luffy helps people and has a heart of gold yet he's seen as a villain), people losing hope but there are still some people that still believe in the coming of this man who will shake the world. One Piece is so epic and I'm so glad my cousin got me and my brother into it back in 2012

From watching one piece, i believe d member have these common traits: 1. They all have a high authority figure e.g. captain, leader, yonko etc. 2. Willing to risk there lives for the people they hold dear. 3. They want to be adventurous, to be have unlimited freedom. 4. Smiles in the face of death. 5. Most importantly, they're destined for greatness.

I watched this for the first time in november 2013. After almost 10y it still gives me the same vibes, such a masterpiece of amv.

There's something with OP that is just breathtaking, like...I don't know. It's huge, important, full of epicness, friendship, like you have never seen before... fight for the ones you love, the ones who need help, for the right thing. And dammit, the music in your video is just proofing and emphasising this!

Most important things i learnt from Onepiece : 1. To have a dream and an undying will to achieve it, even if its cost you your own life. (If you die, you will die with happiness and satisfaction no matter the results, because you gave your best.) 2. Live your life to the fullest, don't hesitate to do anything, thinking about consequences. (Shackles are only present in your mind.) 3. You can only feel fear, pain, suffering (all negative emotions) as long as you are alive after that there will be no more pain, so enjoy it. (In Roger word's : You can only fight as long as you are alive.) By the way, its definitely one of the best videos on Onepiece, thanks for sharing.

I can't wait to see the final arc ! As we all know, Blackbeard is far to strong since he possesses the power of the Yami Yami no Mi (darkness) and the Gura Gura no Mi (sound of shaking). Oda himself statet 'I imagine a final chapter that will make Marinefold arc look like nothing!'. I can imagine that Luffy will gather some really strong allies in the upcomming arcs and at least another 2 powerful crewmates. Like we saw in Marineford and (Spoiler) in Dressrosa, Luffy possesses the most fearsome power of all. He moves most of the people he encounters to feel sympathy for him and follow him into battle. The fact that One Piece will go on for at least another 10 years gives Oda alot of opportunitys to add more and more background information on One Piece, Will of the D, Void Century etc.. I can imagine that a battle between Shanks and Blackbeard in which Shanks will lose his life will trigger the final war because Luffy already feels deep hatred towards Blackbeard who captured his brother and sent him to Impel Down. That 'final war' might even take place on the 'final' island of the Grand Line - Raftel. Just a small theory of mine.

I realize after watching this why I cry so much about this show. The tragedy of the characters in their youth makes me care so much for them. Nico Robin pulls on my heartstrings maybe the most. Her mom.. it’s so crushing. She was lost until she was about 30 years old and finally found a family who truly loves her. It’s beautiful writing. And she’s so beautiful, sweet, and talented and she finally realizes it due to a crew of genuine people and not just people who wishes to use her for what she could bring to the table like before. That’s just one example, but in moments when you see a certain emotion on her (or any other character’s face) it reminds you of what they’ve been through, and it chokes you up (at least it does for me). It’s such a wonderful story. The best! Simply the best work of fiction I’ve ever come across, bar none. And there’s still so much to look forward to in the story. What a time to be alive.

One Piece, although a Fantasy Anime, is very similar to real life, infact, some of the Characters are from reality. For example: Black beard is taken from Edward Teech, which is the Black beard of real life, and yes, Black beard is his pirate name, also, if you break his real name into two, you get White beards name and Black beards name in One Piece. Also, We too also have a Void Century, thats why no one remembers anything at all when we transitioned into fully intelligent beings. And now the Nico Robins of real life are trying to uncover that voidness, but the World Elites(world government) are trying to stop/kill anyone who gets close to it.

The Will of D lives on - 26 years later from 1997 to 2023 this storyline is turning out to be a masterpiece with all the plots coming together.

WHO IS KAIDO-Napoleon *SPOILER ALERT!!!* --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'll start off with some background knowledge of the series to strengthen this theory: 1. As we already know, Oda loves making references to Greek Mythologies (Skypeia, Ancient Weapons, etc), Fairy Tails (Merman, Mermaid, Fishman, Zombies, Monsters, Dragons) and Real Life History. Characters within the series have their own real life counterparts as a way of keeping One Piece mainstream, such as Enel and Eminem, Jango and Michael Jackson, Capone Bege and Al Capone. Oda even went as far as basing many of the Prates in One Piece with real life pirates such as Jewelry Bonnie - Anne Bonnie, Eustass 'Captain' Kidd - William 'Captain' Kidd, Edward Newgate - Whitebeard, etc. He even went as far as attributing one of his own characters, Ryuuma from Monsters (his old Manga) into the storyline with Zoro, who bares such a remarkable resemblance to Ryuma as a kid which indicates some sort of possible lineal descent, anyway that's a theory for another day. So as you can tell, Oda loves to implement historical figures into the plot of One Piece. 2. As we now know in Chapter 763, Law revealed its full name, Trafalgar D. Water Law. This is interesting. most people were focusing on the fact that he was a D bearer, although that deserves it's own theory what troubled me more was the 'Water Law' part. Ok, so if you have some basic knowledge of the Napoleonic wars you should know two of the most famous battles: Battle of Trafalgar: "27 English ships fought vs 33 French and Spanish ships, English stomped by destroying 22 of the French and Spanish ships, while they lost ZERO." Battle of Waterloo: "The final battle of Napoleon, were he was defeated." Here's a little background on the War: It was a Navy battle. The British Navy forces fought against the combined fleets/forces of French and Spanish Navies in a War against Emperor Napoleon of France. In the aftermath, The British Navy succeeds and defeats Napoleon Bonaparte. Is it a coincidence that the full name of Law is Trafalgar D. Water Law? I don't think so. Trafalgar -> Battle of Trafalgar (Trafaglar Square is a city in London where the battle took place) Water Law -> Waterloo -> Battle of Waterloo - (Napoleon tasted defeated and the French army had fallen) From what we know, the Battle of Trafalgar is happening in Dressrosa. From there, the Battle of Waterloo will take place possibly in the next Arc in Wano/Zou. Kinemon and Momonoske were frightened at hearing the name of Kaido when Luffy and Law mentioned it, which may give some indication that Kaido has territory in Wano, after all it is based on Japan and Kaido is one of the few people in One Piece with an actual Japanese name. 3. Dressrosa is based in Spain, its obvious, the dances, the music, the dresses, the names (Pica, Viola, Diamante, Corazon, Trebol, Donquixote, etc.) 4. Doflamingo (of the Spanish) is allied with Kaido (of the French) to some degree. Now that I've established all that here's the actual theory: 1. The alliance between Doflamingo and Kaido represents the alliance between French and Spanish forces. 2. Battle of Trafalgar is a representation of the Dressrosa Arc where Law + Straw Hats (The British) fight against Doflamingo and his allies (The Spanish) 3. Battle of Waterloo will be a representation of Law + Straw Hats (The British) fighting against Kaido and his army (The French). 4. Napoleon was a short, dangerous man. Kaido has been described as a short beastly man/creature! 5. Napoleon Bonaparte was an Emperor. Similarly, Kaido is a Yonko, Emperor of the Seas. Not my theory,just wanted to share
