Create your character and choose your devil fruit; set sail with your own (chosen) crew in an open world/sea where you'll eventually fight alongside the straw hats (or just have some random encounters with them).That's what I want for this franchise I could wait for 15 years for it Imagine Insomniac or CDPR collaborating with Konami on this 😭😭😭
Honestly I was excited for this game but... Now that I took a step back, the game is kinda empty... I don't know, it's just like, the island doesn't seem alive? The reveal of Gear Fourth is kinda neat I guess. Like someone said earlier, this game feels like an RPG with a One Piece mod pack installed.
I think because there is not much of tight scenario and cinematic videos and real-time cinematic motions like enemies approaching with conversation like how Assasin's Creed does when ezio gets closer to enemy and when he is revealed they speak like "how did he get here?" "oh my god" etc etc.

It literally shows luffy going on side quest and a npc. It also shows a big ass city and a small country village. I don't think the Haki actually makes them slow. It's just to represent that he can read their movements and see them better even when they're fast. It's like how movies makes an environment slow to depict that a character is fast.
Your Waifu Sucks lol, seems like you missed some points of this video. If you watch it entirely, you will noticed that using armament haki will makes luffy's movement (attack animation) slower.
He should be, all through out the series, he should have been affected by bullets. He is a paramecia type whose weakness are piercing attacks and bullets are special piercing attacked. . Lol.
It's called One Piece World Seeker and the irony is that you play on one island, also you can't play with other crew members... This game should be called something like: One Piece the lost tale of Luffy.
They could have better made a customizable character with different races like giants, fishman etc. Would have been better instead of luffy and his same moves as always.
That would have been one way to set this game apart from the others. However, can you imagine how you would choose your fighting style given the potentially unlimited types of devil fruits? I can't, and the devs probably can't either.
@@cardknocklife4035 they could first start with like 10 devil fruits or smiles. Just a normal fightning style as if they dont use a devil fruit combined with skills that use the devil fruit ability. And a devil fruit leveling system with passive and active skills and a possibility to awaken the fruit when you achieve a certain level. A seperate haki tree would be awesome too. The more i think about it the more i love OP❤️
@@cardknocklife4035 or they could have everyone start of as a normal pirate with haki. Then they could have yearly events where they announce a smile and Have everyone do a PvP just like dressrosa
What I think would be really sick is a story based online rpg where you can play the story with generic npc's or go online and make a pirate crew with friends and go threw the worlds of one piece with either ally or hostile opposing pirate crews similar to and ark survival set up
After _"Cup-Head"_ and _"South Park: Stick Of Truth"_ I'd like any games based off animation to look like the animation in the game (We have the technology now to do it) OR make the characters look like real-life versions of the anime. Why make he characters Cell-Shaded but the world 3D-Digital? Doesn't mix well.

When i play pirate warior. Yeah its one piece game When i play burning blood . yeah its onepiece game. Then when i see this. Its just like other game with one piece mod... . Why 1st luffy can stealth. He bruteforce fighter dude 2nd its luffy stories. Shp creew just spice in a hamburger. . So i feel this like fully modded game with onepice mod
Olivier Decoo all I am saying that is one piece game is copying the success of the Spider men ps4 game had. Just me I am a big fan of one piece. I am just disappoint what they are doing to it.
This game has potential, since it’s RPG they should give us options to start as a human , fishman or giant. They could also give us for example at level 10 an option to pick any devil fruit (for human) and give other advantages to fishman and giants, then as the story progress we learn haki and devil power and get to train them, until we unlock conquers haki at like level 80 or something. Then instead of having ur own crew , we could have guilds that could be ships with leader being captain and vice captain etc... and top 4 guilds could be yonkos . At level 50 you could in the new world , we could have like crew wars and alliances also pvp system with rewarding titles , and competitions for example characters that want to use swords as weapons and become swordsman [greatest swordsman] . Weekly or world boss that could appear, it could be the marines . Where guild could pk each other too then award pirate king title to the captain of the winning crew after a season tournament with guild / crew fight . Then the winning crew could have like daily fights and action against the marines and a get rewards or something to upgrade their stuff until the next seasonal tournament. This would also keep Players excited and eager to win. Also it would be nice if the game is not pay to win too much because that would ruin everything .
Idk seems like a huge sandbox with only one character like I wish you could use the other straw hats and even tho it’s random I wish you could steer the sunny And when it said “you can guard” I was like wow so surprising and why was Gear 4th running and when he was about to jump off land across the water I was like wait is he gonna go flying like a jet but then it did that quadruple jump animation my brother and me died laughing and then when it did show him boosting of his legs it was so short like if you can do it multiple times why not just have you go far in one shot When fighting enemy’s they seem pretty weak idk the AI’s seem pretty and why does your attacks get slower when doing armament haki I guess the main thing is just having more than one character playable not just seeing them fighting in the cutscenes and leave the rest to luffy lol
@@Avdb033 Its not a good One Piece game. Anyone who has watched or read One Piece for any reasonable amount of time would tell you this game looks bad. Anybody who has played One Piece games like Burning Blood would tell you, the animations are wack. Its not a good One Piece game. Maybe a good game by itself, but because its carrying the One Piece name, its just disappointing.
Out of all the one piece games this is the best I seen I wouldn't call it bad but I also wouldnt call this good cause of how messed up bounceman is and some other things I just saw

This trailer actually fixed some prior issues I had with the game previously, either they fixed it or the other trailers just didn't give a full picture but I am hyped
Walking simulator, only play as luffy. They turned the rest of the crew into npc's you just interact with. Seems you spend most of your time just fighting randoms, and sometimes main villains. Who just fall down after defeated and "side quest complete." Maybe I'll spend $20 in two years when it goes on sale. Probably not though
I would only buy it, if it is going to be cheap otherwise I dont see any reasons to buy it. "One Piece" doesnt mean for me playing JUST luffy and Fighting tons of enemys there should be a lot more than just that, at least we fans deserve it

Idk I love the cel shaded look but I guess the enemy A.I has me turned off. Also I wish the island was more creative though. Doesn't have that sense of wonder one piece is known for just has this generic prison island look. Combat wise I dig it I love the movement has a fluid look to it just the A.I of the enemies are pretty bad but I mean game still has some time before release so I mean a lot of things could improve and change
The lack of units in this game still kills it for me have they ever seen prison islands or marine bases yet? The places are flooded with marines, cipher Pol, and etc. If there isn't one instance where you feel like the real Luffy fighting off 1000+ enemies in a big climatic battle, then bugger right off

Sentomaru does comment that the Pacifist that Luffy one shots with Gear Second was one of the original ones, those hadn't been upgraded so Luffy had obviously gotten stronger. Which hints that they got stronger version of the Pacifist. Can't Assume that Vegapunk stopped upgrading them in those 2 years.
One of these days we will get a open world one piece game where u can customise ur ship,character/avatar,fruits,crew and to claim islands as ur own basically like Skyrim and minecraft with mods
Any ark survival players. Wouldn't a one piece game be super sick with an ark survival type game play full range rpg where you go online make a pirate crew with friends. Custom skill trees based on devil fruits found in the first half similar to the new shinobi striker game and you give your crew members jobs like shipright navigator cook so you all have your solo priorities. Dude my brain is flowing with some intense game ideas
They should've split the game into at least 4 large islands and let you ride the sunny and have ship battles blackflag style. Edit: That said I don't think it looks bad just not really up to the modern Triple AAA standards I feel, it still looks like it can be fun depending on how well the story turns out.
The camera in the targeting mode looks kinda flunky. I hope it's a lot better than it looks right now. Game looks decent, hopefully they'll make the other strawhats playable as well.

at least it does not seem like the typical enemy kill performs missions and level up for everything that you do the level system does not exist and is based on equipment for what you see and that is something
Relax. Maybe youll be able to play as the other pirates as dlc. Nurture the game with support so that theyll have the resources to give us what we want. If you're a one piece fan, give it a whirl.
Random Otaku actually not. the game has it. you can perform conquerer’s haki by pressing buttons r1+x or rb+a on xbox. but it needs 3 tension bars to do it.
What the hell. First of all improve on NPC crews. 1. Usopp and Chopper doesnt just stand around. Make them run and fool around on deck and give them funny dioalouge. And then sometimes Usopp work on the ship. 2. Sanji doesnt just stand there. He should be found in the kitchen and you should walk in the ship to talk to him. 3. Zoro should be training and napping somewhere 4. You should be able to find Franky below deck, working 5. Nami walking around the deck with Robin or in her room drawing map. 6. Brook should be playing music somewhere... Jesus just make it more alive and not dull. There should be way more NPC on the island/city too..
Gameplay wise: the crew shouldnt just be ncp. Luffy's crew are always split up. You should travel in groups and fight switching between member...omg the developers SUCK
i want to be able to change luffys clothes, and i want different animals he can hunt and make into food, or tame and use as temp allies or something, i want AC black flag level boat mechanics and more.
@@AdurxIsd if you had a bunch of playable characters it would force the game to either be a fighting game, or have the gameplay extremely watered down as to allow for so many playable characters. Having only one playable character allows then to properly expand the gameplay into something built for them and them alone, thus allowing for a better game as a whole.
Question, why is everyone complaining that they are trying to make a good game instead of a trash fan service game? Seriously, they clearly put a lot of effort into the game and everyone is complaining about things that would make them excited in any other game. Do you guys want a bad game?
