Love your video. Only tip you might want to try for your consideration is having the two legs of the tripod close to you and the 3rd single leg straight forward away from you towards the muzzle. That way the rifle recoils back on two legs and not one leg which causes to much of a pivot rock on one leg.
Ever thought about the clamps? Thats what ive been using. Seems to work well, requires no modifications, and makes it versatile for mounting locations.
I went with the Spartan system to avoid those plates. A gunsmith adapter can be put at the front and at the balance point, plus they’re flush mounted. Arca adapter for your tripod and you’re in business.
Have you considered using patrol carry? A T.A.B. Gear Pinnacle Rifle Sling (PRS) should improve your accuracy significantly. Installation of QD cups is fairly easy. Very useful for still hunting.
