Usage of the ordinary 7% glycolic acid toner- (unsponsored reel) ✅ Make sure your skin barrier is healthy before applying this product otherwise your face might have burning sensation as soon as you apply it (can be applied by all skin types but sensitive skin avoid it) ✅Application of glycolic acid should be only at NIGHT TIME. ✅ FOR FACE & NECK - on freshly washed dry skin, take a CLEAN cotton swap, pour 4-5 drops and apply max 2 swipes on one area not more than that followed by moisturiser, Use it twice a week only. (DO NOT KEEP IT OVERNIGHT ON FACE use it only for 15 minutes to 1 hour and wash it off) ✅ FOR BODY - take a Clean cotton swap, pour 6-7 drops and apply max 3 swipes on one area not more than that (you can use every night if it’s not irritating your skin otherwise alternate nights) ✅FOR UNDERARMS - 1 cotton swipe followed with moisturiser, twice a week at night. DO NOT FORGET TO USE SUNSCREEN EVERYDAY OTHERWISE THE PIGMENTATION CAN WORSEN. 🛑 wash it off and Stop using it immediately if any rashes or redness or irritation occurs for more than 1 hour (Avoid if you are breastfeeding or pregnant) Hope this helps.

Be careful using these exfoliants .i had a really bad reaction to the lowest concentration of glycolic acid.my face was red ,itchy and swollen for a week .the patch test I did on my arm was normal so I guessed I wouldn't have any issues.turns out my face is way too sensitive for any kind of acids. I had a similar reaction with vit c serum too
@@AlexaDemie-wv5ch absolutely 200%!!!! I have been using it for the last 4 to 5 months and I have seen visible results on my dark pigmented areas of my body like my feet , my underarm, elbow, neck
@@AlexaDemie-wv5ch nah man don't apply in your armpits, especially if you're brown just try alum, or you can go fir lower concentration like below 5% but still imma say don't it'd only made your underarms pigmentation worse

@@lavanyapotabatti9900 face, elbows and knees.. I used it at night after shower and top it with a moisturizer that's it and just make sure to apply sunscreen in body also next day bcz actives will make skin photosensitive and try to avoid exposure to sun
I used it on my face, elbows and knees at night just after shower on dry skin and i prefer using hands to apply it and not a cotton pad bcz cotton pad can leave a fibre on skin that is not visible by naked eye that i dont want on my face and i top it with a moisturizer that's it.. And don't forget to apply broad spectrum sunscreen next day even in body too bcz it makes skin photosensitive and try to avoid sun exposure
My skin is dry and it's sensitive too. I use CeraVe every day am & pm. It has made my skin so much better than before. I apply all the water based serums before CeraVe. But recently, I read an article which rated the top 50 moisturizing creams in the world. Cera ve was number 6 and Cetaphil was number 1. I used to use Cetaphil a few years ago. Then I bought CeraVe which was nearly the same as Cetaphil and it was available at my local pharmacy. So I switched it.
Hello Dr. Bhagyashree I've been following your videos and advice for acne prone and oily skin. They have been very helpful for me. My face has got clean much better than ever.. Thank you so much !!
It's actually a gem product if you can use it properly. First I love vitamin c but when Glycolic Acid k baare mai suna and then use Kiya my God kya accha result Aya. And Haan agar Ordinary ka thoda mehenga lage na to minimalist ka use karna both are equally effective
@@Iampall you can mix it with your body shower gel or soap otherwise you can also use it like a toner or spray it like body mist and then let it dry then follow up with Spf. Remember Spf is must because Glycolic Acid is a Exfoliating ingredient and it leads sensitivity to sun exposure. I'll recommend you to use it only in your p.m routine
@@nehapant6924 Anything between 2% to 8% But do not use it daily. First use it like twice a week then gradually increase it maximum thrice a week is recommended. Because really going to dry out your skin and leads to irritation due to over exfoliation☺️

Please do disclose sponsorship and Ads. Ik so tired of influencers doing hidden sponsorships. Reccomending Glycolic acid is one thing and showcasing just one brand is another. Sponsorships aren't inherently bad but not disclosing it is. Ugh

Advice Do not use cotton pad to apply as most of the products gets absorbed by cotton itself Also you should use glycolic acid for not more than twice a week and best time is to apply in the evening or before sleeping Also for sensitive skin this may feel itchy so make sure to apply on neck or hand to check.. Also its really effective for acne prone skin.. but only if it is suitanle for your skin type
There is no reasearch that backs glycolic acid helping with odour so do your research before influencing so many. Infact from personal experience... It hasn't helped with odour. And please use with caution to reduce risks of chemical burn.
Please don’t talk about reducing tans, as people misunderstand abd think it makes them lighter. This is a serious abd very detrimental issue in our community.
@@sravanivarri4690 it's water like liquid. Take few drops on the cotton and gently apply all over your face, neck or wherever you want to apply. It really very good and my skin is much more better and glowy nowadays 🤭
