I like the fact that in the movies you could definitely tell they shot most of them on location and actually got people from said locations. For example, in Ultimatum, when Bourne goes to Madrid and is checking the CIA station’s entrance, you can hear people going by chatting in Spanish and I could tell they were actual Spaniards speaking and not dubbed because it is my native language. It truly feels like home😊

I don't think the guy planned to "eat" the punch. His guard was up, just only at chest level. Also, I believe Jason's punch was a lead hook. That's a nasty punch to NOT see coming. if you use your lead (front) fist to attack, it's quicker and less "telegraphed" so harder to block or avoid.

Saw a comment talk about how in the trailer the punch was recorded a different angle and looked better and i agree , But i think the reason they reshoot it or went for this tighter angle is its more in line with the Bourne fight cinematography as well as it keeps the cam close so you can hire less extras as in the wider shot from trailer it looks like a small smoker fight but with the tight cam they used for the film it feels closer to bourne tight and as if the crowd is a bit larger makes it feel like a bigger money fight or more exciting than like 9 guys watching a fight in a patch of dust lol

@@majorserg I don't think this decision was about the shot, but about character. Normally when a right-handed person leads with his left, it's for a jab. That's probably what his opponent was expecting. Instead Bourne threw a left hook, a very nasty punch. His whole attitude read as wanting to get this over with quickly.

I was waiting to see this comment, and considering that Jason Bourne is supposed to be a nearly genetically modified supersoldier, I think Bourne wins in this category - though I enoy the latter two's movies a lot more.
