I think it’s cause a lot of people can’t look past the animation downgrade and let that dampen the experience rather than just enjoying it

For me its the mix of the song and the animation......the song doesnt hit as good as the first one and the animation looks like cartoon power ranger opening....its just all bad to me

the visuals are not as good as season 1 but the song is just so fucking good, even better than the season 1 opening song

JC Staff is a type of studio that can call average studio, sometimes did bad visual, but sometimes did an amazing job. Their works are fit with the word average with how it's not that good and not that bad, but we still enjoy watching them.
