*after that strange encounter the theif was never heard from again, now the theif works at a orphanage helping children in a country far away for he has seen the sadness of this world*
If there are 1,000,000 people in the world who respect Saitama, Genos is one of them. If there are 100 people in the world who respect Saitama, Genos is one of them. If there's only one person in the world who respects Saitama, it's Genos.
*"I'm not saying I need fans, but it'd be nice of someone noticed what I've been doing."* This line made me tear up, mainly because it reminded me of how hard I always try to help my classmates and the people I know and always end up being treated like a jerk.
I don't know you and you don't know me, but what I do know is that you try to help others. I know its hard but no matter what happens KEEP TRYING AND DON'T STOP. We need more people like you . And remember that there are always true friends out there for you like me.
Bro I feel the exact way but if they treat me still like jerks I know I didn't try I need to keep at it one day they will realise that you were the good guy violence, boasting or just picking on others isn't my thing I want to help people and that isn't good for my soul but I know because people I have hated in the past have done 1 simple good deed towards me and that changed my perspective just keep trying man YOUR A GREAT F****ng GUY and I mean that
Bro, not all people will be grateful, it's something you have to learn, It may seem sad to you but it's something you have to learn, I advise you to stop helping people who don't deserve your help, You will save energy and avoid that pain, good luck friend.
Listening to this after hearing of the passing of Akira Toriyama. He singlehandedly brought about a whole new genre of Japanese animation, and his contributions will live on forever. Rest in peace, Toriyama-San.
"You lie. You had strength to spare. I never stood a chance. It wasn't even a battle. So much for prophecies. You were too strong... Saitama..." - Boros
"A punch is all it takes to put them down, A glimpse is all it takes for them to look past me, A hero for fun? Where's the fun in having no competition, no appreciation... Maybe if I were to stop being a hero... Will it take a second for them to forget me?" -Somewhere deep down within saiatama, a part that still feels....a part that is still "human"
OMG yesss. I didn't like mumen rider cause I thought he was dumb cause he didn't have any powers but then when he writes saitama that letter telling him thank you for saving his life it makes me appreciate him as a character
My father passed away today. I remember one of the first shows we watched together after my younger brother committed suicide was one punch man, I know it's a parody anime but now when I listen to this theme I can't help but cry, yet smile to know I was able to experience this great show with him, if only if he was with me to watch when the new season comes out.
Yes keep going The journey never ends "Just because you are the strongest hero doesnt mean you are the best one. There is always room for improvement" -King
I really like the concept behind Saitama's character. Usually when the protagonist of the story is set up, they already have the resolution and motivation for their goals set in mind but they lack the strength to achieve it. So as the story progresses, we see the protagonist growing stronger and stronger until they achieve that specific goal. But for Saitama, it's reversed. He already has the strength but he doesn't know what to do with it. He doesn't have the motivation or clear goal in mind as to why he wanted to become a hero besides saying that it's just for fun. So as the story progresses, we watch Saitama trying to find purpose for his strength and earning the recognition he deserves by climbing up the ranks of the hero association in popularity.
@@vaibhavgupta8681 He wanted be a hero in his own way. While the heroes are busy dealing with world ending threats or being pompous corrupt a**holes, he’ll be there for the little guy who gets bullied on the playground, as no hero or heroic person came to his aid as a kid. If the heroes won’t be there for that discriminated kid, then he will, and he’ll enlighten the “heroes” that the “monsters” can be the victors.
Opm is a very very lucky show , 1) Great art in manga 2) One of the best theme in anime ( the best imo ) 3) Great story line 4) Great animation in season 1
@@AageKush The animation was good, just not as good as season 2. And the story was absolutely amazing, Garou is one of the best written Anime villains to this day
Crazy how this song really makes you feel sad (this version at least) but then if you play it faster and have the guitar (w/out piano) It becomes this power ballad of hope. Which is what the OG and hype version is
Saitama's Quotes “When I was a little boy I wanted to be a hero. Not some damn business man. But a superhero who could send rotten villains like you flying with one punch.” - Saitama “If the heroes run and hide, who will stay and fight?” - Saitama “If you really want to become strong, stop caring about what others think about you. Living your life has nothing to do with what others think.” - Saitama “Is that really the limit of your strength? Could the you of tomorrow beat you today? Instead of giving in, move forward.” - Saitama “In exchange for power, maybe I’ve lost something that’s essential for a human being?” - Saitama “I’m not a hero because I want your approval. I do it because I want to!” - Saitama "I'm not saying I need fans, but it would be nice if someone noticed what I've been doing.." - Saitama
He truly needs more attention from people's around him since he have fought so much monsters and throw the credits away to the fallen ones, he truly needs respect. He sacrifice his pride and humility.
@mugil adhi i know right, in one of the episode, genus said to saitama that he will write every quote of his. idk something like that. so now genus posted a comment to youtube so every one can see it
here's the thing. Saitama is a hero with no body to sacrifice. he can't be broken, hurt, or beat in any way. So when Sea King is dead and everyone begins to turn on the fallen heroes who gave it their all in the face of death to hold him off and protect the civilians, Saitama sacrifices the one remaining thing he can as a disenchanted unbeatable hero, he sacrifices his humility and pride. he calls himself a cheater and convinces everyone that he just finished it off, so that all the other heroes can get the respect they deserve for their actions. If it weren't for the earlier heroes; stinger, lightning max, purri purri prisoner, snek and the B's and C's in the shelter, Genos and Munmen Rider, all those civilians would be dead. but the people don't see that sacrifice, they only see a single C class and a dead monster. saitama corrects their view and takes none of the glory at the end of the day, because for him it really was nothing. a single punch is less than some of the throwaway monsters get, and saitama didn't even show up in time to actually save everyone. all those heros could have been saved if he got there sooner. in the end, he failed to save everyone, and took none of the glory for it, like a true hero should. if you think to his backstory, saitama wasn't much different than Mumen at one point. an average guy with average abilties and hero's heart throwing himself into impossible fights for nothing. perhaps Saitama will be the strongest hero ranking above even Blast, but both him and Mumen can share the seat of truest hero.
Saitama is such an amazing character to me because it's impressive how a parody character who runs counter to the cliches of the genre can become so much more than just that. Saitama shows the human experience through the lens of the strongest man alive, he has what many desire most- but it doesn't grant him happiness. If anything, his strength, his power became a burden- making life dull. This can be replaced with any other example of abundance. The great things in life are great because they're rare- we have to fight to get it. if everything is just handed to you, you have no problems to solve, challenges to overcome... what's the point? Challenge gives meaning. That also shows the heart of Saitama and why he's probably one of the most inherently good MCs in the genre. His life is dull, he's depressed, he hates his own strength to the point he hates his life...but, he never stopped. he remained a hero, batting away those who would threaten the world or even just a single person. He sacrifices his own happiness to ensure everyone else can have a chance at having what he can't. That's the mark of a true hero.
And received a bunch of normal consecutive punches and didn't die, only to die to a single serious killer move punch Such a badass character, forever in our hearts....
A true Hero is not defined by their power or skills, but by their strength of self and character. A hero is someone willing to stand against cruelty and malice in defense of others, regardless of risk to themselves. A hero is someone who is willing to save others from great danger that could risk their own life. A hero is someone who cares or treats people with kindness when others will not. There are many hero’s in this world and in the realms of fiction. Regardless of whether it is a hobby or not, Saitama is a true hero.
He gets offended when people talk shit about that profession without knowing what it takes to be one, it's also why he respects Mumen Rider alot. He sees himself in him.
''Did I...Lose...?'' ''You're still conscious? ....You really are strong.'' ''... The battle was....Hard-fought.'' '... 'Yeah. It sure was.'' ''....You lie.'' ''...'' ''You still had strength to spare, I never stood an chance. It wasn't even a battle....Haha....So much for the prophecies...You were too strong.....Saitama...'' *THE STRONGEST HERO.*
I still can't believe that just training for 3 years gives you the power to destroy the universe... Something else *MUST* have happened. 2020 Edit: ok I got like 10 different answers so I'm satisfied I guess.
One punch man was my first Anime and it may seem odd but this anime also had a huge effect on my life believe it or not, so this song has real meaning to me
Saitama never wins, he is just a man in tourment there will never be a happy ending for him, he wishes for a good fight but he is still the strongest and still non rivaled
soil80 Everyone has a thing they want to do in their life that they concentrate on,and for saitama it’s Fighting but when most of time it’s not even a “fight” it makes you feel like it’s pointless and people don’t just switch to something else especially when you invested so much time and effort into it
0:07 Saitama with blood on his face 1:05 Saitama's Memories of Genos and Garou Copying Him 1:30 Saitama and Garou fighting each other with serious punches
"Tu mentiste... ¿Te contuviste, verdad?... Nunca tuve oportunidad. Ni siquiera fue una pelea. Tu... Acabaste conmigo. Las profecías mintieron... Fuiste demasiado fuerte... Saitama"
"I'm just a hero for fun, I don't want your recognition, I don't want your thanks, I don't want the money, I just wanted something that I lost a long time ago, and that I'm not sure that I can have again" PD: Yes, it was hair
And a segment of theOP 1 lyrics is also sad in a way Don't wanna hear you calling out my name I'm not here for the fortune or and fame, now HERO! Instead, I'll fight knowing nobody knows my name... (Nobody knows who he is!) My foes are closing in and covering the sky! I will, not ignore them cause if I'm a- HERO! I will be, able to fight them all till' the day I die.
funny funny, it's a words of person, who become most powerful man in universe and no one can't defeat him when everyone around him just some bunch of weak people complain to him, it's a reality, not everyone can be what they want and can reach their goals, a lot of factors like physiology and so on
@@CamelliaFlingert well in opm universe, you become what you want to be,if,and only if you have a will like saitama, unshakeable and unperturbed. He wanted to become a hero who can beat all villain and monsters with one punch, worked hard for it,and got what he wanted. And yet, when he finally does, there is no end goal for him anymore. That's reality, sometimes no matter how hard you work, what you want can never come true. However, one wanted to show us a 'what if' scenario.Like what if,you can become what you want to be,if you work hard enough. The end result,is ofc saitama.
@@CamelliaFlingert same words from the person who had to do 100 pushups, pullups, run 10km, eat a banana for breakfast, and not open the AC on daily basis. While there will always be someone better but in the words of Saitama: “Can the you of tomorrow do better than the you of today?”
it wouldn't fit the situation, it should be one of... despair, pain, regret... a song that fits saitama's situation of: "Really, do I have the intuition of a hero? no... No, I do not have it" this song would be perfect for garou's redemption... his sacrifice after realizing his biggest mistake. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FVWr249AUq4.html something like THIS fits the situation, read the manga with this song and you'll know the difference, for that reason the animation guy added it in his video.
Every enemy that Saitama faces wants limitless power and to be unchallenged. Saitama has limitless power and is unchallenged, but still hasn’t found happiness in his life. Powerful shit right there.
If you think about it boros is the same as saitama. He isnt technically a "villain" he just wants to find someone who is worthy enough to fight him. And he doesnt want limitless power
I think Saitama is the only one who trainend for his strenght. The giant got an elixir, the bug was a mutation and even Genos is just getting new weapons. Hard work is getting you far further than any shortcut could?
The fact that he took all the blame while fighting the deep sea king so that the other heroes don't get disrespected for their bravery is just so emotional. A strong person never falters to help his fellow ppl, even if it means losing his dignity in the eyes of people.
Hits very hard after chapter 166, but the hope of he still alive dont leave me, and i think he will get restored, but without memory or with is not our choice...
Then I become a Hero, 3 years passed from that but, the monsters aparition don't seem to decrease. If I didn't become a hero, something really changed. Will people remember me if I gone. -Saitama
After then Saitama added, "Oh yeah there was that guy who wanted to be my disciple (Genos)" That line was truly emotional bcs despite Saitama defeating so many monsters in the past, Genos was the first one to actually acknowledge Saitama's strength and respect him.
This song just reminds me of everything that has happened to me from my dad going to prison for life, to my poverty, to all the times I was frowned upon by my peers, it just makes me realize is there a point in trying to survive another day?…
There is always hope brother. You will join and can join otherworld anytime you want. But as far as we know there is only this one opportunity to make your life better and learn something about this world. Maybe it's destiny's hand to play you such bad cards only for you to find your true self and weather this storm. Don't lose hope, fight on brother
