Actually (adjust internet nerd glasses) Garou wouldn't give a fuck about "monster rights". He hates monsters just as much as he hates heroes, or possibly even more so. Remember that he rejects the monster association invite several times and shows clear contempt for them every time.

He's the prophesied God Threat and when he and Saitama fight it will be like Mobs unknown percentage excess where the levels are incomprehensible and endanger the universe itself. I'm not reading the manga but I am hoping Garou does break his limit (he clearly was when was was fighting bang and his eyes and hear changed color) but I want it to be when he fights Saitama, Saitama has to decide if getting the one good fight is worth endangering the entire universe or if he can break that cold exterior of Garous monster intent to the lonely broken boy beneath and be a true hero.

@@shawnscientifica6689 If you wanna know if Garou broke his limiter you could read webcomic, even after reading this it's still kinda debatable but i think he broke after getting smashed by Darkshine and Tatsumaki flipping whole Monster Association upside down, making Garou buried in this all rubble and *(SPOILER ALERT)* transforming into his awakened form where he actually become a monster he wished so hard to be while in the same moment breaking his limiter. Him becoming so deformed is for me signal that he broke his limiter. But in the end got smashed by Saitama.

Love the uniqueness in a villain who has human values and chooses to be a villain because he feels bad for the loosing side and thinks the system needs fairness. He doesn’t try to harm normal people, he doesn’t try to harm children. He has a soft heart and is a genuinely nice person. So nice in fact, he is willing to become the villain. I love it!

he is fair(meaning he only targets heroes and not children etc.) and he has his reasons for killing, because of his childhood experience. But that dosent mean he is a nice, soft hearted person. He is practically a killing machine which is targeted towards destroying all the heroes, which will ultimately lead to humanity's demise.

@@Akshit.vats. Nah, spoiler alert but he actually wants to make humanity unite against him. And the reason why he hates heroes so much is because theyre never judged for their bad actions, since they represent justice and justice is seen as always right. He wants to create a world of pure evil, where he's the only bad guy, so he can decide what is fair and whats isnt. At the end, hes just a guy who thinks and behave like an immature child.

@@Akshit.vats. actually I’m pretty sure garou never killed anyone. The 100 kill count thing was just to make him seem like a big deal. Also none of the tank toppers died and were only put in the hospital (although Severely injured) as well as any other hero. I believe the only two times that might not be the case are the mountain of villains when he was first introduced and golden ball and spring mustache although, given his track record of not killing heroes those two are probably safe. I’m not saying he’s innocent but definitely redeemable if not already especially in the manga as he goes straight into the monster associations hideout to save the hero handbook kid Tareo I think.

Garou: The anti-hero who rose to Threat-Level Dragon by sheer willpower for the sake of anti-bullying and ultimately gave up his humanity for a cause he so desperately believed in. His mental resistance is so admirable and it makes him one of my favorite characters in the entire anime. The concept of good and evil doesn’t faze him, in his world it’s all about the majority stepping over the minority and the lonely against the popular. All he wanted was to change what seemed like fate and wanted the weaker and outnumbered to win for a change as he’s experienced their pain, a pain far greater than the suffering the monsters have inflicted upon their victims. This is all coming from a beat up boy who used to get bullied and watched cartoons of monsters getting brutally killed. He was never against the strong or popular, he just wanted to defend the weak and shamed…

one punch man has always been about becoming who you've always wanted to be and working towards that goal. Crablante loved crab and wished to become a crab and so eventually he did. Saitama said he wanted to be a hero that could defeat all his enemies in a single punch and he did. Borose wanted to meet someone capable of killing him and he did. And last, Garou wanted to become a monster through his sheer will alone, and he did. I love this concept, which is why opm is genius.

can we talk about how incredibly resilient garou is? in the manga theres a panel where you can see his hands visibly shaking after he faces death gatling, stinger, wildhorn, smileman, megane, chain toad, blam-blam, shooter, and genos, and is about to face bang. And the next panel is him getting into stance and his his hands ready for battle. not to mention, he took on all of those heroes while already injured from his fight with watchdog man, AND he was at a disadvantage because he was trying to protect Tareo. He sees to be able to take insane amounts of damage and win against absolutely insane odds. that might just be what makes him so powerful. He's like metal bat, but even more resilient.

Garou: “What is evil? What is justice? All those pretty words mean is that I should die because the majority wants me dead. They can all go to hell!” For anyone who knows sociology this describes Durkheim’s Theory of Deviance and Morality very well. The majority decide what’s good and evil and this is subject to change given the pressure of time and deviant pressure to the norm. Meaning what’s considered just and good now could very well be considered evil in the long term. So for this to show up in an anime (One Punch Man no less) was awesome. Shows that even satire shows can be really deep if you’re educated enough to pick up on their subtle dialogues. Garou represents Deviance to the norm while the Hero Association represents the norm itself. He’s the catalyst for change that could change how the OPM universe views what’s good and evil, right and wrong. He’s the literal personification of this sociological theory.

The grungy beginning, the techno intro, the metal slamming riff and the soft touch sentimental side all rolling into a very beautiful display of complexity and emotion. You can feel Garou's personality in this song, his power and ambition, his emotional turmoil of trying to prove Monsters are invaluable, and the chaotic instrumental crash of his absolute crazed and wild manner. I mean, honestly, not many villains with an amazing backing track, this one is on top with the rest.
