Hey guys, here's the upload of season 1 final fight of ONE PUNCH MAN Stamina vs boros FULL FIGHT IN HD ENGLISH DUB enjoy I do not own this video. This video is belongs to it's owner Thank you .
It's actually sad because boros and saitama were in the same predicament as each other. However, boros got the fight he had always been desiring while saitama is forced to walk another day without it.
I personally think that the Boros fight was a crucial point in Saitama's character development. We see that he actually gets defensive over his ideals when Boros says that he ravaged galaxies in search for an opponent. This is most likely because Saitama got scared that he might end up like that in his search for fulfillment. Then, in Boros's last words, he states that Saitama was 'too strong', Boros making it clear that Saitama is at a greater level of power and loneliness than even he. I believe that this is the turning point for Saitama's desires and ambitions, as he sees what too strong of a desire does to someone, so instead, he chooses to look towards other enjoyment, like friendship and others.
Honestly it's an encapsulation of his character. Static characters like him, through words of wisdom, or actions, or their sheer immovability, can actually provide a path for other characters to change. Genos, Fubuki, and, as of the manga, Tatsumaki are all notable examples.
There's so much deep meaning to this fight. Yes, Saitama could have instantly obliterated Boros, but he gave him his dream of fighting a worthy rival. That's all Boros longed for, and Saitama gave him that. Saitama tells Boros it was a hard battle to let him realise his dream before Boros passes. As Saitama walks away, he is also heartbroken as he wants a worthy opponent just like Boros had, however it took Boros 20 years of searching far and wide across the galaxies to find Saitama; what hope does he have.
Have you seen the fight with the Sea King? Saitama punched him so hard that the rain around them dissipated and the weather cleared. The imagery of this show is awesome, man.
Keep in mind that the Serious Punch didn’t actually hit Boros, only the air launched towards him did, the air was launched forward by Saitama’s punch with enough power and force to hit Boros so hard that it overtaxed his extremely powerful healing factor, and that was AFTER it broke through and deflected a planet-level attack.
@@Pokeyrunner I also had a feeling that Boros had used up a lot of energy beforehand throughout the fight. That CSRC wasn’t even near the peak of its power.
Actually I disagree. I think saitama calculated the power of His attack so that it directly countered boros energy attack. I don't think saitama's punch did anything to him. After all, even saitama's regular attacks as regular punches we're able to obliterate his body tiny pieces. Yet his ultimate killer punch didnt? I believe Sy, calculated that punched only stop the planet destroying attack and nothing else. It was boros's attack that burned away his body he used all of his energy and all of his life force try to take down saitama.
@@sapherno11Actually, after Saitama throws the punch, if you look at Boros in the middle of the rings of clouds, he is very clearly hit by something, it’s true that using the attack likely used up all of his energy, but I personally find it unlikely that he would use it knowing he’d die afterwards.
@@shivan2664 when in the series has saitama's attack ever left an enemy looking burned up as if they were burned alive? And on top of that we actually see boros get blown apart by consecutive normal punches do you really think his ultimate attack would not do more damage? It's far more likely that when Boris used his ultimate attack it used up all of his latent energy including the one used for regeneration. With regeneration gone his body could not withstand his own attack giving it that burned up appearance. It's also entirely possible that when Boris use that attack he also use his life force, which would have resulted in his death no matter what.
“You’re just too strong...saitama” Boros feels saitama’s pain, the truth is saitama saved boros from emptiness, but the question is, who will save him?
I think my favorite part about this fight is that not only did Saitama want to give Boros the satisfaction of working himself to his full power and exhausting himself before being defeated. But he also definitely intentionally prolonged it so that he could hold on to the one thing who can take more than one punch without dying
The end of the fight is so sad. Saitama already knew that Boros was no match for him, but was nice enough to give him the exhilaration of a true fight that he longed for. When Boros tells Saitama he's "just too strong" he knows it's true deep down inside. Which is why Saitama has no response and walks away. Saitama was able to save Boros from his emptiness that he felt inside. But who will ever save Saitama from his emptiness? He is once again left with that same feeling wondering if he'll ever find a true opponent that will rekindle his passion to be a hero.😞
Then maybe what he needs is to reevaluate what that passion should be. Is it simply the thrill of a good fight, or maybe is it being able to help others however he can?
@@JDog2656well from what we know Saitama emptiness comes from him being an average human but after his training he wasn't able to live like a human and neither got that super fight he wanted which made almost everything meaningless to him and he is not a monster only because he doesn't want to be one and there are few things like genos which somewhat still connect him to his humanity
He also says "you are a strong one, for real", still telling him that even though he didn't stand a chance, he is a great warrior as to still acknowledge him and presumably so he won't die feeling useless, but Boros saw through it. Saitama even though he's stoic and has this layed back attitude is low key actually a very well-meaning man. Boros leveled an entired city in mere moments and he still can't help but show respect. 💪
the shot of saitama glowing with energy at 0:32 is fantastic. most of the time, we see him from the perspective of a human. but boros can literally see saitama's power eminating out of him
Has anybody else noticed, Lord Boros was the only opponent Saitama defeated, and truly felt empathy & sorry for. They def could’ve been friends if it hadn’t ended that way. Just subscribed, notification bell on!!!
Saitama actually had the slightest feeling that Boros was going to be his destined match. So he didn't want to treat this like any other day of getting rid of a monster or demon.
I kinda hated that he did that after joining the hero association tbh. It sorta took away from the comedic value of a dude showing up to fight world-ending threats because it was more fun than doing nothing.
Its a good lesson for him to learn. That if he allows himself to only be consumed with finding a worthy opponent then will end up worse then Boris. Thankfully Saitama has always had people trying to fight him so he doesn't have the need to find next one when it'll show up next week
@@Kspice9000 I think deep down he’s still saddened he’ll never find an opponent able to match him, but I feel he’s come to terms with that fact, and is able to live better now.
"You are the only one who survived this long" Little did boros know, he was the only one who lived the longest as one of saitamas opponents Edit: after a year of this comment being up, i finally decided to read the manga
That ending hits differently when you realise Saitama could relate to Boros; They were too strong for anyone to beat them and when he arrived to Earth for that reason, Saitama realised that he had to fight in order for Boros not to lose his mind of boredom, he held back because he wanted Boros to give him the "Greatest Battle" he could ever had. In the end, when Boros saw through Saitama's deceit, Saitama was disappointed for not being able to deceive Boros, Saitama walks away, Solemnly. He may be the Strongest Hero, but not even Heroes can save themselves from their own Problems, Crises or Nightmares.
Saitama wasn't trying much.. but you could tell he was taking Boros ever so slightly more seriously than everyone else too. I also almost felt Saitama was actually really curious about Boros more than anything. When he did do his normal, consecutive normal, and serious punch, Boros did survive them, and Saitama was somewhat surprised by this along with some of the moves Boros did pull. Boros is CRAZY strong. Just taking one single punch from Saitama is an achievement, Boros was no push over by any means and would wipe the floor with everyone else. But he ran into Saitama first, and Saitama is literally leagues above Boros in power level. Even though being the strongest in the galaxy is a whole tier better than everyone else, Saitama is just beyond even that. It's scary how strong Saitama actually is.
@@Swordmaster7th tbh the only people i could see being as strong as Boros is awakened Garou and maybe "God" depending on how the story turns out, other then that he's the strongest non-Saitama character in the OPMverse
"I will defeat you"... straight goes into my heart. Showing his full strength, full passion, whole dedication and he is giving everything he had to defeat stamina. Edit : Thank you for 100 likes
I love how they depict the force of Saitama's final blow by showing plants swaying in the breeze on the OPPOSITE SIDE of the planet (where it is nightfall).
His death made me cry a little “You lie, you were holding back weren’t you, I never stood a chance,it wasn’t even a battle…you, obliterated me,hehe, so much for the words of prophecy’s” "You are just..too strong...……………………Sai…tama”
@@death3678 to be fair, Boros got what he wanted. There are a lot of parallels between Boros and Saitama, even up to the point where imagery from the very first episode, something that looks like a heart beat quickening, was mirrored. The only difference was that Boros actually felt it, while Saitama eventually woke up from his dream. He let Boros be the main character for as long as he needed, and for as long as the world could handle, even playing the villain part way through, with his mocking that was not abnormal for him typically, but that time was noticeably less in his character, being a lot colder and more dire, which might have been bitterness settling in. By the end of the fight, Saitama swallows some hard facts. This guy came from across the galaxy, ripping apart others, in a fashion similar to Saitama; so it could be that Boros was the only one even close to Saitama's level of power... but not even that was within a realistic range. It wasn't a fair fight, yes, but that's not at all what Saitama wanted out of this. Realistically, Saitama won the fight, but lost the war. He's just too strong, and he might never meet someone that matches his strength, and give him what he gave Boros.
@@Manko001 no because Saitama didn't punch Boris but the blast, and the force created from his punch and the blast caused the airpressure coming from the punch to obliterate Saitama, look closely and u realize he didn't even touch him
Just hearing boros telling saitama he is just too strong makes me sad, Saitama knows he is too strong like he said before "In exchange for power, maybe I've lost something that is essential to being human" Opm season 1 was so well made can't wait for season 3.
This honestly helps paint the difference between Boros and later on Orochi. At the end, Saitama respected Boros and knew it wouldve been better to try and convince him that what he did was his full power, because Boros was using his full power. Boros of course knew he wasnt even doing his full strength but still respected the man for trying to give that peace of mind to him. Orochi however got no respect from Saitama. When Orochi gets hit by one of Saitama's attack, Saitama just says that was a normal punch, much to the mirror of Boros who had Saitama's respect.
Boros is actually an allusion to one of ONE's previous works that were never officially released, Taiyo Man (Sun Man). In the story, the final boss was too strong for the plot to progress, and it took 20 years in real time before ONE came up with an opponent strong enough to fight him
That'd be a prequel well worth watching, I can only imagine all the battles Boros had has over the years hell he probably had a resume that was like Sugar Ray Robinson,Willie Peps/Roberto Durans/ and Floyd Maywetaher jrs record combined....seriously Boros fight record going into his Saitama fight was probably something insane either like 975-0 or 970-03 assuming he lost a few growing up while still improving/leveling up when he was younger/maturing ya know, total freak man.
His pain was not of the body, it was of his very essence, his very being. To know in defeat that you never even stood a chance, there is no greater pain. Boros felt the kind of pain that cuts deeper than any attack, he felt the pain of knowing he was nothing from the start. Everything he understood about himself was undone in seconds. The writers clearly knew how to make a villain that lived in pure anguish and died in even more anguish. He never imagined death would be far worse a fate than that which he was living. Exceptional writing.
@@yourparalysisdemon1936He hated that he didn't lose to an equal opponent who gave their all in a glorious, hard-fought battle. He felt reduced to a small summer ant in what felt like an instant. There was little honor in his defeat.
Boros threw hundreds of attacks at Saitama, all of which he either blocked or straight up tanked with ease. Saitama punched Boros just 3 times, and each was enough to stagger or wound him. Then it took one punch rush to red-mist Boros, which would be the end if not for his healing factor. But it only takes one punch with real effort from Saitama to both negate Boros’s strongest attack, and fatally wound him. Boros was absolutely right. It wasn’t even CLOSE to a battle.
It gives me chills when Boros says " i will defeat you" its like the main protagonist going all out on the final boss but instead of winning the protagonist loses
He was walking backwards so fast, he bought a fair amount of time from Boros who was running FORWARDS It doesn’t take a genius to know that running forwards is faster than running backwards
Funfact: the heartbeat you hear at 10:29 is Boroses Heart. He enjoyed the fight so much his heart is racing. At the first Episode when Saitama was fighting earthlings in his dream, he had the same heartbeat.
this moment doesn't get enough credit, Saitamais the same guy who in order to not let the other heroes names get dragged through the mud, pretended he was kill stealing the heroes.. Saitama gave Boros the fight and excitement of a battle, the one Saitama craves, the one where he'd go all out and use every move in his arsenal and as he dies tells him it was a good fight and he's strong. Saitama can be such a cool and tragic character, some weebs rly be out here like "one punch man sucks cus saitama always win" and have this type of storytelling go entirely over their head cAnT bEaT gOkU tHoUgH
I think it’s awesome how saitama could’ve ended the fight at any time but let Boros fight him because of the fact that Boros is kinda like Saitama powerful and no one can beat him. It’s almost like Saitama saw the struggle they are both going through
The final Sin Actually, he wasn’t the one who would face him, he was just in the right spot. Boros saw their fight as slightly unfair how his opponent held back, but still... in the end... he got the fight he wanted.
At least in English. The voice actor in the Japanese dub fits him perfectly there. I enjoy the amount of thought they put in having a guy sound like the character they have to portray.
The only reason he didn't kill Boris instantly is because Saitama was nice enough to give him the fight he had longed for. That's true honour Edit: Stamina is way better than Boris I can confirm.
In the manga saitama stated that he only uses serious punch against enemies that can’t be defeated otherwise . He didn’t expect him to regenerate lol however if he would have hit him with a serious punch right off the bat he definitely would have finished him
Love how Saitama says "Yeah, sure was" when Boros says it was a hard fought battle, eventhough it'sobviously not true. Like no bad feelings or spite, just paying respect to a dying guy that tried.
@@Batou3 Idk I mean you could see he was still bored in the fight. I mean take his dream, he was actually excited and even had that heart beat. He just realized that Boros was like him and decided to give him a good battle before he died
@@Batou3 I don’t think that was the case since Saitama takes no damage at all and only throws a couple of punches throughout the whole fight to let Boris have a chance at having a good fight. He only used a “serious” (probably not even that much more powerful than a normal punch) punch to prevent Boros from blowing up the planet. This displays that he could have ended the fight at any point in time.
Honestly, for what is essentially a gag anime/manga based on OP superheroes, this fight scene is a masterpiece. With it's visuals, the choice of music during certain parts, etc, it is truly divine.
I love Boros' "wtf" face at 9:13. You can feel the disbelief. Also, when Saitama said "Prophecy? What do you mean?" I fully expected Boros to start explaining what a prophecy is.
What makes saitamas pain even worse is that boros had been wandering the universe for 20 years looking for someone to challenge him, and he found no one but saitama. It in this moment that saitama realizes that there might be no one anywhere that can push him.
@@bonafido5446 Boros could have survived the Serious Punch given he regenerated from an eye and some blood however due to the amount of energy he put into his Collapsing Star Roaring Cannon he didn't have enough power to regenerate anymore
10:06 the voice acting here is perfect,it captures the sheer determination and power that Boros is putting into this fight in order to win,it’s the kind of fighting spirit you’d expect from a MC
I consider it more just shear shock and happiness. Like he's about to cry from joy and the realization that he finally gets to use his ultimate ability Just "holy shit! I just sent this guy to the moon, unleashed a full massive combo in my ultimate and he just sternumed me across a football field. And he just annihilated me just spamming light punches"
@@toneprime3622 It is because he didn't want to kill him. But at the same time, he had to protect the earth. Boros essentially severely damaged himself by using up all his energy so he could not heal himself. Saitama punched his energy back at him, which hurt and almost killed him.
@@IIAnaxiezzII Another fun fact. Matter traveling at light speed would completely destroy the moon based on the average weight and density of a normal human.
Shellshocked Bros Yeah I was going to bring that up. But in a universe where people shoot lasers from their eyes, a small woman with green hair can destroy spaceships with her mind and people can be turned into monsters by eating gross heart looking things, I’m guessing physics isn’t high on the list of priorities lol
Boros was such a cool character IMO. Even though we only got like 12 minutes of him, I wish we got to see more. Also I am wondering if the prophecy was meant for someone like Blast instead. As he says "So much for prophecies, you were just too strong". Essentially Saitama was never really a match for Boros. But maybe someone of like of Blast or even Garou would have given him a more satisfying fight. Who knows I guess 🤷♂
Blast would be an interesting fight. Like he is crazy fast and his portal magic should be able to deflect almost all of Boros attacks. It's unknown how much damage Boros can take himself since the punches from Saitama aren't very reliable. But Blasts gravity knuckles can put out some steam if needed. Maybe he beats Boros after all. And it's likely Blasts would actually show up when Boros makes too much damage. However as we all know Saitama puts Boros down shortly after the initial attack and Blast never takes notice. Garou at the time of Boros arrival was way to weak. Wouldn't survive Boros first form i guess. There is even a theory that the prophecy way send by god to lure Boros into a fight with Blast. However it's just a fantheory.
Consider that Boros was so immensely powerful, nothing and no one could challenge him on his side of the Galaxy, so he had to come to Earth on a chance prophecy. Then consider that it must really hurt Saitama to think that this guy was the most powerful thing to exist within 20 LIGHT YEARS of him, and he didn’t even break a sweat
@@superbobcat8997 I don't even consider him a villain. He did the what Saitama's been doing. He let his underlings fight the weak heroes and fought Saitama, the strongest just like how Saitama only fights big threats.
@@infinity7397 so? My pfp character itself genocided quadrillions of demons, Itachi massacred his entire clan, thanos killed half of the universe, and there are so many characters that kill just for fun Yet they turn out to be the best or most enjoyed characters
The only reason he survived past the first hit is because Saitama WANTED him to. He could've obliterated Boros from the start but felt like being nice.
Saitama punches Boros at the start Me: welp he's dead adios Boro- Boros still alive Me: WWWWWHHHHHHAAAAAAATTTT!?!?!?! (To be honest his English voice actor is god-tier)
