Has anyone else noticed that Paul has a nice, soothing teaching voice free of tension. His ease of instruction makes listening quite easy and relaxing.

This is so great! It connects my pentatonic scales with arpeggios in a way that helps me to play more rhythmically and create better sounding phrases. Thank you Paul. The symmetry of the fingering helps the rhythm. I hope that makes sense. I have been playing for many years. This is very helpful in mastering arpeggios and the whole fretboard.

What is key here is covering the whole neck with only three octaves. The only note with four octaves is E. So, we have 12 notes times 4, wait, that’s only 48(actually less only E has 4) and yet a 24 fret guitar has 144 notes (24X6)! Yes, there are around 100 repeat notes, find them and you will reveal the secrets of the Universe! Love see a video on that. Thanks.

Crazy, I know arpeggios so well, but never thought of doing them this way, liked/subscribed just because this was so novel, thanks so much!

This could be the same subject dealt with by so many other online videos but Paul David’s just somehow gets the point across.simply.

A few month ago I was still stuck in that pentatonic boxes scheme. After I learned that first appregio in a minor I was playin around with it like hell. Now I feel super comfortable to play around a on the whole fretboard. Came back to learn the other ones. So thank you very much!

This is such a good exercise for pinky strength and stretching. Gets easier the higher the notes you go and harder the lower the notes are. Just a great sounding reward to a great scale drill that can be used for fills.

This is one of those playing styles that can advance most any skill-level guitar player, after simply going through the fingerings several times. When I first started playing guitar 15 years ago, I would only use my pointer and pinky. Between playing 2-stringed chords, a simple arpagio made for better sounding chord progressions. Now, I play similar arpegios in the middle of some much more advanced riffs, licks, and soloing ..and that's true over multiple genres. Great instructor, and easy to understand!

VERY helpful for me!!!! Some advise tho, I just feel that the younger me wouldnt get this video as back then as i didnt realy have any idea what scales where or how things on the guitar such as a minor scale stay the same shape up and down the neck.

Should be on a late night radio show with a voice like that.
