That little skinny pocket would be a great place to add a paper covered pen! I live in New Mexico where chilis rule so I've made many pens with a ball point filler and cut out pictures of chilis. Sooooo cute! And they are flat so they are great to tuck in places.

You have had so much great help with Peggys place, Thank you to all that has helped. I know it will be beautiful. It is funny we did all these things when we were young and it comes to a point where we need help but can not afford it, so it just gets out of hand. I have always said God gives us kids when we are young. tBecause now that I have been a Grandma for awhile it wears me out after 1 day of grandkids. Can not wait for the finish. Also thanks to Jim for keeping you feed.

Oh Sandy, I love this project! I’m making this today to go in my journal/diary to hold an activity that my granddaughter and I did this month. I was wondering how I was going to incorporate a journal, within my larger journal, to showcase this activity with pictures and lots of journaling.
