This follows up with the fact that Benson was told by Pops never to get angry at Mordecai and Rigby anymore or he's fired, which proved to cause a nuclear disaster if our gumball machine boss can't vent his anger. But in this incarnation, Pops was indifferent about letting Benson yell again. So, there was another option. Mordecai: Pops! What's going on with Benson!? Pops: I-I told him that if he didn't stop yelling at you two, I would fire him! Skips: [He had a serious glare] You can't make him bottle up his anger like that! You gotta get him to yell at you guys! Pops: But... the rule I gave him! Mordecai: Not a problem! I have an idea that can really make him go nuts! Skips: What's that? Mordecai: Rigby! Remember that random blue haired kid that had a showdown with us? Rigby: [He thought for a moment and smiled] Oh yeah! [He got spare mics out] Let's do this! Mordecai and Rigby: [Nodding at each other] Hm! Hm! Hm! WHOOOAAAA!!!! [The both of them prepared to rap battle Benson] Hey Benson!! Benson: [Surrounded in furious glowing raging aura, glaring intensely at the two numbskulls] YOU...!!! Mordecai and Rigby: Bring it on! In order to make Benson yell and stop him from destroying the entire park, Mordecai and Rigby decided to use the blue haired kids methods in riling people up. If these two knuckleheads fail at this chance, Mordecai and Rigby will for sure be fired.

I can imagine Regular Show as just another version of Madness Combat considering the chaos that happens on a daily basis, the only difference is that Regular Show takes place in California rather than Nevada (I looked it up).

The group had to do something about it! "What happened?" Skips asked as he came on the scene with Pops. "I don't know! Benson saw us crash the cart and instead of laying into us, he said he wasn't gonna yell!" Mordecai responded. "And then he turned into _THAT!"_ Rigby continued. Benson's ball kept getting bigger and bigger as it sucked in many objects. "He's probably holding all of his anger in! That's not something Benson usually does!" Skips pointed out. "What?! Why would he do that? It's literally a part of his character!" Mordecai replied confused and panicked. "Me! It's because of me!" Pops said. Everyone was even more confused. What did Pops mean? How could he have stopped Benson's yelling? "I told him that if he didn't stop yelling at you two, I would fire him..." He admitted. "OH GOD!! WE'RE GONNA DIE!!" Rigby yelled out in despair. "Come on, Rigby! Think positive!" Mordecai said as he tried to calm his best friend down. *"I'M **_POSITIVE_** WE'RE GONNA DIE!!!"* "Pops, you can't make him bottle up his anger like that. Mordecai! Rigby! You guys gotta get him to yell at you! It's the only way we can stop it!" Skips exclaimed. "Not a problem! Hey, Benson! You're a sorry excuse for a manager!" "Yeah! You nasal-voiced, loser-loner!" "Go back to night school and learn how to have a personality!" "And guess what! We're the ones who keep sending pizzas to your apartment!" "And we're the ones who switched the detergent with coffee!" The ball of anger kept getting bigger and bigger. Despite the insults, despite everything, Benson wouldn't give up. "Dude! It's just making it worse! What do we do?!" Mordecai yelled out. "We need to think of something! FAST!!" Rigby responded. "Ah! I know! Remember that blue haired kid and his girlfriend?"
