I am a beginning crocheter and am using this video as my "training wheels" as I read and crochet from the pattern. So far, so good. Thanks for helping me☘️💕☕️
@@anniedesigncrochet It is going so well- that I downloaded another shawl pattern & have already purchased the yarn. Thank you for helping me understand crochet patterns💕☘️
Making it yet again. I have made it for myself in many colors- I always have compliments. This one is being made to comfort a pregnant daughter in law. I remember the shawl my grandmother made for me when I was pregnant with my first... I literally wore it out. I will pray that kind of love into this one as I crochet. Bless you for sharing this pattern💕
Thank you. This pattern is so gorgeous and so easy. I'm only a beginner, but I can follow your very easy instructions. You have a lovely, relaxing voice.
CARMEN! (yes I am yelling) this pattern is amazing. I don't have the correct yarn/hook but, I thought I would just practice until I can get them. I am using 4wt yarn my hook is a 5. It's fun/fabulous and fast. Thank you for haring this pattern with us!💖
I told myself I didn't need another shawl, but oh I do... I need to make this one. Something about it reminds me of a faerie garden. It's gorgeous. Thank you so much for this video and sharing this pattern!
Thank you for posting your lovely shawls. I've crocheted for 52 years and still go back to the simple beauty of a single stitch pattern like this. Now to go through my stash to find the perfect skein. I just became a new subscriber, can't wait to see what you share next!
Hi Jeri, can I please ask if you could advise me how to decrease the Tendril Shawl pattern by this lovely lady who is teaching us, I see your comment was 11mths ago. I have asked the lady herself but she didn’t know, as I still want to keep the pattern jagged edge, but would like a pointed end each end of shawl/scarf.
You are a very good teacher and your voice is so lovely. I must trainee (?) my ear to understand, while I‘m a german. Thank you very much for your help, I‘m very happy. Good bless you in this times. Marina
great tutorial and beautiful shawl!! for some reason as a learner, is infinitely easier for me to follow video tutorials (than written patterns)...in any event, many thanks for your helpful tutorials! they are wonderful! 🌺💜
this is new to I'm following along with tutorial and pattern I like how its turning out I will continue tomorrow as it is late thank you so much for the class
I love all of your patterns! I’ve made atleast 5 of your patterns but have remade those 5 several times! Thank you so much for making this video! So happy to hear your voice! Thank you for all of your beautiful patterns! I learned how to crochet last year and your pattern was the 1st! My friends love them all!
Between your design and your choice of yarn, this is the most beautiful shawl I’ve ever seen! I love when the algorithm puts me together with a great crocheter! Looking forward to future projects with you, happy to be a new sub and good luck with your channel!💜🙏💜😻💜
This is beautiful! I know exactly which yarn I will use for this project - yarn I've been saving but not knowing what to make with it. Very grateful to have found your site. THANK YOU!
I have literally just now finished your sweet shawl. When making it I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't as nice as your one, but I think it will look better once I block it. It is a variegated yarn too on a cream base, pink and red flecks. I am fairly new to crochet and I can get a bit confused by instructions on their own so thank you for the pattern and the video. Struggled a bit with the picot edging (as which is right and wrong side) but it has turned out all right.
Thanks for the amazing tutorial and pattern! I recently took up crocheting and this is my first official shawl! Very pleased with the results. Hooked in two afternoons! Just need to block it!
I love this shawl and I am trying to make one but I keep going over the second and third row because though I understand what I’m supposed to do as in chains in trebles, I can’t see clearly where I’m going into with the hook because your thumb is on the way maybe it’s just me but I really am struggling so much. I am sure that once I catch the rhythm, it will be so easy but I’m having a hard time grasping it.❤
Wow! I have been searching and searching for weeks to find that perfect project for some beautiful yarn I found. This is it!! I'm kind of scared to even use it. The price was over $40 per hank. It's mercerized Egyptian cotton which I've never worked with. There were 2 different ones in a bag among some other really fancy yarns, all for $2.99!!! Jackpot! Thank you so much for this tutorial! Now I want to binge watch your other tutorials. I might try this with shawl in a ball too. Again, thank you!!
Just bought your beautifully written pattern. Thank you for a very clear tutorial which certainly helps because I am using a mohair mixture yarn so it isn’t as easy to see the stitches as your smooth yarn. I am now going to Ravelry to buy the two lacey asymmetrical shawl patterns. X
Thank you for a lovely presentation! I especially loved how you showed the progress as you went along… made it visually easy to see what was happening. Loved also that only one skein was used….
This is beautiful, simple and elegant. Thank you for sharing. I can't wait to make one for myself and to gift to others! The yarns you are using are also lovely.
Finished but cannot see.where to upload? Made with hand dyed cotton fingering. Thank you so much for sharing your gorgeous pattern for free and for supporting us with your super clear , concise tutorial, Carmen😘 I have already started another vintage shawl as family and friends all want one too!😂. Cannot wait to crochet all your other amazing designs. God bless you dear 💞
This is gorgeous! It would be a perfect spring/summer shawl. I will keep it in mind. I added it to my Ravelry queue. You do a great job of teaching. I love to watch video tutorials as the best way to learn.
This is going to be my fave shawl to make so far! (Just finished the lost souls..took forever!) I am using drops alpaca and am loving how fast it is working up, even with this thin yarn. Thak you for a great and easy pattern.
@@anniedesigncrochet Making my third!! This time in cotton. Everyone will be getting one for Christmas...truly cannot thank you enough. I am slowly losing the use of my right arm and can still make this, even on my bad days.
I just recently ran across your site and designs & I absolutely love all of them! I currently have 3 of your shawl patterns on hooks! Yes, I work several projects at the same time, so I am seldom bored with one pattern. You are a wonderful teacher as well. Your tutorials are easy to follow and understand. Thank you!!
This is my favorite of all crochet shawl/wraps! I would like to make an oblong wrap with this stitch .... but cannot figure out how to do this. Help please, if this is possible to do. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Linda in Oregon
My human loves this tutorial and pattern now on to adult size shawl number two after making two small teddy bear sie ones first . Thank you for sharing it ; ) Teddy
Do you have the link for that yarn? It's beautiful! I kinda new at this, so can you tell me what blocking means please? 🙏💕 thank you. Have a blessed new year👼🙏❤
@@anniedesigncrochet thank you. Is that sold on line? It's just so beautiful that color I would love to buy it. But thank you for taking the time to answer. 😊😊🙌💞💕
Hi, I love your shawls! My favorite is Flora (I don't remember how many I made...with any kind of yarn...) and now I'm finishing Hot Chili. But this new shawl is so delicate... I'll try ASAP!!!! Thanks for sharing your beautiful job! PS I like tutorials but your written instructions are very clear and easy to follow. PS2 Sorry for my bad english. Ciao from Italy🇮🇹
Every time I saw this shawl, I thought this is so pretty. I fell in love with the colour immediately. I just tried it in a solid colour but it misses the charm of the beautiful delicate appeal completely. But I know what to do now.😊
@@anniedesigncrochet well i finished up this am!! and its gorgeous and dainty..i just love it!! ill block this week sometime..i hope...thanks so much..i did it in a soft baby pink..with a lavender little border..its so cute and springy : )
