Told the wife I want a Volvo EC220EL with the AMI Letsdig18 Special Bucket and Thumb combination for Christmas! ☺️ Should have seen the LOOK on her face... PRICELESS! ☺️
Chris I believe you are the man to go to Washington D.C. and drain that swamp. Many have tried but lacked the skill to put in drainage to keep the swamp from reforming once drained. I am sure your fans would be happy to cover all your expenses.
The sun should help dry things out on the dam when it’s not raining! lol. Another good video Chris, every minute was great watching you work your magic! lol 👍🏻. Pond Doctor!👍🏻
I watch Chris on my big screen monitor in my home office. My cat is so addicted to the noise of the equipment that he goes right to sleep on my desk then when the video goes off he jumps down with his tail swishing back and forth. He wants to hear it 24/7 I think. Cats!!!!
Oh, somewhere in this favoured land the sun is shining bright, The band is playing somewhere, and somewhere hearts are light; And somewhere men are laughing, and somewhere children shout, But there is no joy in Mudville-mighty Chris has sunk out (of sight).
We always have faith in the Pond Doctor! You’re the man Chris! Thanks for sharing my friend! 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻 It’s looking good so far Chris, is it going to have some kind of spillway? I know you said no overflow!
My wife asked, what are you watching ? I said a man therapy session!! Thanks you son much !! In the beginning I was impressed with your handling on the machine, but now, i'm impressed with the way you plan things, to achieve what you're doing !!!
I know one thing, you worked miracles with that piece of property on the pond brother! I think it looks great Chris! 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻 we call it a levee down here and it looks great! 👍🏻
Back down toward the coast to play in mud again- you really do need that splatter shield. Good for you that rain is not your problem,,,have gotten 2.5 inches here since Friday evening with more on the way Sunday evening.
I started watching you about 4 days ago. I must tell you that you have been a real Godsend. I’m old but was thrust into therapy about a year ago because of some unresolved childhood trauma. As I work through the past I look for ways to keep my mind busy. Your videos are perfect. I love working outside the house on land in N MS. Seeing you uncover that Suthun red clay is amazing. Thank you for what you share.
Been following for awhile. Just found out where you are. Neice and husband lives just across the woods on Hales Store Road. Just so cool. You a good one!!
Haven't seen anything about concrete pumps in some time now, Chris. You have educated the viewers well! But in this case there are possibly not so many bicycles, skateboards and golf clubs? Haha! Use a dredging pump and fill mud in small perfume bottles with a fancy label and auction them out one-n-one to the subscribers. Then your own excavator is payed! ;D
I actually Never thought that “Swamp Hole” would ever look as good as it did at about 32:20 Let’s say, so pretty darn good for that messy hole...!! 😎👍✅
new viewer here, you doing quite a fine job digging that pond, i can practically see what it will look like when your done. i got to tell you young man it almost seems like you may have done one before this, if i were you i would get into the pond building business.
Holy Christmas Chris, you gotta be an expert in 'mud management skills'. What surprises me is that you haven't lost your excavator yet'. Cheers and "mud on".
Man , I thought for sure at about 3:03 there was a Big Ol Snake , cutting out !! lolol But, after looking 3-4 times , it was where you was pushing the mud/ water up against a limb in the water....lololol.. You got it coming right a long Chris !! You are right a muddy damn mess !! But, as always you'll have it looking good here shortly !! Yeah, Man your gonna have to get the sprayer out after all the mud you got on the inside of your machine, can't be having that !! Have a Great Evening Chris, and On too the Next !!
Lordy you folks in the cackalackies have some serious number of ponds, we have so many mosquitos we have to spray them to keep them from carrying off sheep and small dogs. And that's in the middle of a 10 year drought
Chris doesn't just dig a pond, he builds a pond. Very clever how he knows just where to dig and when to dig, and where to put the mud and dirt and debris. Enjoy watching..
Daily dose of #letsdig18 best YT channel there is, Chris you making a pond out of pudding, gonna be filled up before your done just like the last one, awesome work man, awesome content, another mess turned into perfection when it's done, should grow some dang good grass that's for sure all that rich topsoil, thanks for sharing bud. 💪🇺🇲
It's a mild form of liquefaction. The vibration from the excavator ripples through the ground and also via the bucket. This allows water trapped underground to rise rapidly and percolate out. It's a patience game.
You’ll be surprised on how fast that mud will dry out by getting it dug up out of the ground and smeared around and piled up because it’s real sandy so Chris will be able to come back in August September and October which is your three driest months of the year and will be able to drive his skid steer or or possibly his dozer around the top and grade it out but anyway Chris another great video and you and John and yawls family all stay safe and Can’t wait till tomorrow’s video
Nice video.very very muddy there Tho.nice weather To do some digging there.at least when the pond dam is done its gonna look nice but it still has ta des Up along the sides.😀
You started clearing off a piece of land late in 2019 (I think) and had moved the 250 there to build a pond. Then you moved off of it, I forget why, but are you going back there anytime soon?
@@Blazer02LS It was the one where they had a huge pit dug into the side of the hill and Chris had said something about wondering what it was for and I told him it might have been where the clay for bricks came from. It has been so long now I cannot remember.
Soup! I have a place on my farm that has about 8' deep of that soup. We have sunk tractors in so that only the exhaust pipe was showing. Draining the soup isn't easy as the soup fills in the ditch fast.
How do you decide how deep to make the bottom of the pond? Is it decided before you start digging or is it based on soil conditions you find when you start?
Chris maybe you could get a glass cleaner company to sponsor your show ? just show how well the windows get clean after a pond dig ,, you might go threw a bottle a job lol .. maybe armor all and windex ? that job will look like a million dollars when your done
Admit it Chris, you just plain _LOVE_ playing in the mud LOL A positive aspect of that "soup" you were scooping out, it's (mostly) self leveling so there shouldn't be a LOT of grading needed on the back side of that pond.
I have a swampy hole to clean out. Going to try to scrape all that black topsoil off the top of the clay then sell that topsoil and spread it out on the field.
Lone Ranger: Tonto, look! Smoke signals! What does it say? Tonto looks a few minutes. Lone Ranger: Well, Tonto? Good news or bad news? Tonto: No news, Kemosabe. Only Chris making burn pile.
