Spend a peaceful sunny October day with me.
I took a Friday morning off last week, so I thought I’d take you with me to the farmers market in the nearby town. I always feel quite awkward filming there. The area where I live isn't touristy at all, so people are not used to seeing cameras around and always wonder why would someone take pictures there. I tried to be as discreet as possible, but hopefully I still managed to capture some of the atmosphere.
I wanted to film this little part of my life for so long, but only gathered the courage this once. That’s also the reason why you barely ever see people in my videos - I do live in a pretty quiet place, but I also film early in the morning or somewhere I know I won’t meet many passers by - and there are a lot of places like that to escape to. If I happen to meet someone on my path, I wait patiently until they disappear from my camera’s field of view, to then continue filming in solitude.
