Another way to identify defenders is pinging their gadgets, it can prevent your drone from getting shot while trying to ping operators. For example if you ping a castle barricade, it will identify a castle on the enemy team.

One of the most important thing you didn't mentionned for the counters is the timing to use them. If you're on the denial deimos can't track you, if the track started it will hide you while in the radius, but if you walk on the denial when there's the deimos warning (and you're about to get pinged) deimos will just lose a charge completely That's why Vigil is so strong against deimos, he can just use the cloak when about to get pinged to make him lose a charge, basically immune to deimos

Tbh I actually see Jackal as still better than Deimos. You can’t see Jackal’s ping which is huge, the entire team also sees yours when tracked, and he can use his primary. Deimos reveals his position, your ping is ONLY visible to him, and he can’t use his primaries. I like Deimos a lot but I think Jackal will still be banned much more, since he is a much larger threat.

I don't know how the Vendetta is deserving of a nerf. It has 6 bullets and is not automatic Note: 6 bullets is the smallest mag in the game and is incredibly small especially for a pistol

@@hyuugaamida both of which does not have the operator to be forced to use their pistol when using the gadget. With this operator you can't just consider his weapon and a stand alone. You have to consider it has half of his gadget.

a good “fix/nerf” he can and SHOULD have is the people he can drone with his ability should be people that HE scans, not counting if his team scans them, he has to scan them with any of his drones to add them to his list

Deimos don’t need a nerf. Jackal is still better by far. Everything Jackal does is what Deimos does, but better. Jackal’s ping is not revealed when tracking, he can use his primary, and the whole team sees your ping. Deimos can’t do any of these… his ping is visible when hunting, the team can’t see your ping like he can, and he is confined to his pistol.

I feel like that would be too slow, and hed have to spend a good bit of time simply scanning the enemies, maybe like a Brava momebt

@@TheFlopster69Jackal is easier to use but definitely not stronger. Deimos can litteraly ping anyone hiding without even entering the map while Jackal need to be close to get a good ping. If you're a decent player, you can know exactly where jackal is just by where you walked and how many ping you have. Deimos tunnel vision is also a thing for the tracked roamer, with the live ping you can give precise callout to your mate pushing him like if you had a cam on him while baiting. + cancelling the deathmark at the right moment is just like using regular jackal except you can't see footprints when you have no more scan So definitively not the same use, and Deimos is way more team oriented than Jackal but definitely stronger except for hardcounters like vigil. Anyway the whole point of this op is to have another anti-roam option while jackal/doka are banned

I wish they never added this guy. Mutiple targeted interrogations. Beyond lame imo. At least cav needs to actually do something before getting wall hacks :(
