Daryl Ong (it's pronounced like Gong without the G 😉) has crazy, precised runs. Spotlight for singers in Philippines is quite hard to attain in mainstream media (not to mention there's a lot of slot reserved for the old artists here and a few for plethora of new artists), new artists are only given a few screentime or performances and not prioritized. He's one of the first mainstream artists here in Phils. to use RU-vid to give good quality, recorded covers for songs he chose, whenever he likes. And that sort of opened the doors for other artists to be more independent and to try other platform, and also for the audience to try listen to these amazing professional singers who are obviously just lacking in media exposure. So happy they're continuously doing well and being given more offers because of that. Anyway, so happy you liked this. I'd like to recommend Daryl and Morissette's cover of You Are The Reason by Calum Scott (I think it came out way before One sweet day happened). It's also pre-recorded but I've seen them perform it live just as it sounded in the studio so I can attest that it's a legit performance 😅 They harmonized so well, it's easily become one of my favorite duets of all time since I've heard it. 😌🎶
