Mad skillz and conditioning to make it look that fluid and effortless. Got to get me one of those 'magic' KD Marlin 14 tails. Thanks for showing us wizard wanna be's what is possible.
Thanks Kane for posting this - It's so interesting to see at this angle - wave faces, your foot positions, Body contortions, etc. I always smile when you take a couple pumps and glide with straight legs and slightly arched back, I always here in my head @gcammar going, "... even the dog can't believe his eyes" You're my favorite flow rider ever!
@@gcammar I love your videos - You were and still are an inspiration when I was starting to windsurfFoil - I kept checking back with you and learning new tips and different ways to think about the ride. Thanks to you Maui guys and gals for being such inspirations to us inner coastal flatlanders like me :) one day before I go I would like to share the ocean with you all! Keep Foiling!
Nice ride. I loved the paddle up. Maybe you can comment on paddle up by prone/hand paddle up vs just using you SUP paddle. Are you pioneering the hybrid start? Also loved watching the swell direction. Seemed like the ground swell was obviously heading into shore but primary swell was heading downwind. I have tried to downwind with a wing but still struggle to connect waves in my downwinder. One more suggestion, please give a downwind tutorial. something similar to your "Light wind wing tips" video. BTW, that has some gold nuggets! One of my all time favs.
Kane's got me inspired to get a camera out on a stick and shoot like JD when he points back at himself. I'll look for more inspiration on your channel @gcammar - aloha
Blown by apparent facility and your esthetic foot position (small stance), as relaxing as longboarder attitude but on a foil, with lots of pumping ability. And sharing with windsurfers alsdo make this video a pure benchmark. How strong was the wind this day : around 25 knots or stronger ?
